Dana reached the Great Hall and sat at the Ravenclaw table watching as Jordan approached the staff-table and letting out giggles as she started dancing there with some guy Dana didn’t know. The professors grimaces were really worth looking at – Dumbeldore smiling, Snape scowling as if it was a personal insult, Flitfick amused, McGonagall shocked speechless. It was an awesome dare on the whole.
When Jordan had finished Dana left as well, laughing as she heard a bit of what McGonagall was yelling. Laughing Dana moved back towards the room they had been playing in and entered it with a broad smile seeing Mary there as well. “That was awesome!” Dana told Mary with a wide grin as she positioned herself back on the two pillows she had lifted on the ground. Reaching over Dana grabbed a cookie and bit into it, waiting for the other two girls to appear as well, so the game could continue.
*** When Jordan and D.J. had finally appeared Dana grinned and took a sip of her drink: “Well, I think I’m next in line for a truth or dare,” Dana glanced at Mary, knowing fully what the mischievous grin on her face might mean, but Dana had never been a coward, so she smiled brightly, “And once again I pick dare.”
Dana bit into a new cookie and waited for the three other girls to decide exactly what she would have to do.

D.J. enjoyed Jordan's performance, and was replaying it over and over in her mind as she walked back to the room, avoiding the arrogant joker. Stupid joker he was, probably wasn't even funny. Settling down into a pillow, D.J. looked from Dana, to Mary, to Jordan. Wondering what to say. Dare's reeled through her mind, sending her head into a spin. Then the ball stopped on one she definitely liked, "Okies, Dana. I dare you to, go into the Student Lounge, and confess your undying love for Snape. Ony; do this in a sonnet. And this doesn't break your rule, because you don't have to kiss him..that's totally up to you." D.J. smiled smugly waiting to see if Dana would accept, her green eyes glittering with laughter. She had to see this.

Dana listened to D.J.’s dare and finished her cookie without any outward emotion. She had been well-schooled in doing that – by her grand-parents as well as he Slytherin friends. She nibbled on the cookie thinking how it would be easier to complete the dare. The thought of backing out of a dare didn’t even cross Dana’s head. “Alright, I think I know the way. However I can’t recall any fitting sonnets right now nor can I make one up on e the go, so I’ll just use a regular poem,” Dana said after she had finished the cookie and stood up brushing herself off. With a little half-amused, half-ironical grin twitching on her lips as she made her way through the hallways towards the student lounge. Looking forward Dana saw that Snape had just excited the Student lounge and so she sped up, hoping there were enough people for the others to be satisfied when she proclaimed her ‘true love’ to professor Snape here in the hallway. “Professor Snape!” Dana shouted and sprinted towards the potions master. Dana wasn’t afraid of him – maybe because she did well enough in potions and maybe because her cousin, who was a fifth year Slytherin and a first year Ravenclaw had helped Dana look beyond the harsh mask and see the man behind there, who had worries, problems and not small problems deciding by his scowl. To just see the man behind the mask of ‘the greasy bat down in the dungeons’. “Hello, professor Snape,” Dana smiled in greeting as she reached professor Snape and speaking loudly and clearly Dana started to quote the poem: "When you are sad, I will dry your tears When you are scared, I will comfort your fears When you need love, my heart I will share When you are sick, for you I will care.”Dana’s eyes twinkled towards Snape as she heard the gasp in the hallway that was now dead-quiet as everybody stared at Dana in shock. Even the potion’s professor himself seemed to be shocked beyond words. Dana ignored everybody else – she hadn’t been brought up as part of the highest class with etiquette lessons for 3 years, for nothing, so she just continued as calmly as if she was talking about some potion: "You will feel my love when we are apart Knowing that nothing will change my heart. When you are worried, I will give you hope When you are confused, I will help you cope When you are lost and can’t see the light My love will be a beacon, shining ever so bright.
This is my vow, one that I pledge till the end For you above all are my love and best friend,” Dana almost laughed out loud as someone in the background dropped something on the floor with a loud BANG!, but continued as clearly as before, “Into all lives falls pain and sorrows, I promise together we will meet all tomorrows.”
Dana smiled calmly at finishing the poem written by Earl J. Dawson Jr. “It’s a pleasure to see you here, professor. You truly do have my utter respect,” Dana’s eyes locked calmly with Snape, showing that her words were sincere. She was in no way in love with Snape, but Dana did respect the professor. He had humongous responsibility as potions was a risky subject from time to time, should some cauldron explode and Snape also had absolutely awesome knowledge in his subject, “But would you please make my day and say that I won’t be needing witness protection after this. And I promise I’ll try to not bother you too much in class. And never during Hogwarts history has a professor ever murdered a student, so please let’s keep that tradition going as well.”
Dana sent a grin towards Snape before half-bowing and turning to leave through the students who parted in front of her. Some first year dropped her bag in a hurry to get out of Dana’s way. Dana rolled her eyes picking up the inkwell that rolled in front of her feet and handed it back to the first year:” For heaven’s sake! He is just a man not a vampire or a demon ready to rip you apart at the slightest sound or a comment. And I’m not madly in love with him. Even though I probably would be crushing on him at one point or another when he washed his hair and was a bit closer to my age.”
Dana rolled her eyes and left the hallway in dead silence and noticing Mary near the corner, Dana grabbed her arm and pulled her around the corner before she finally collapsed into helpless laughter. “AT least… I … will nev… never be forgotten… in Hogwarts history,” Dana gasped out between giggles. Finally being able to control herself enough to walk Dana grinned and dragged Mary along towards the room they were playing in: “Come on, let’s get back to continue the game.” ((OOC: Good enough? I have to admit that I had fun while writing this. Anyway - I'm going to send an owl to professor Snape now to see if he wants to reply here as well or not))

Mary laughed with delight at the dare D.J. had bestowed upon Dana. She followed her friend down the hall but stopped short as she saw Snape exiting the Student Lounge for some odd reason. She followed Dana once again as she saw her friend had decided to take the dare ten steps further and proclaim her love to Snape himself. She collapsed against the wall in a fit of hysterical laughter as Dana recited the poem by heart as if she truly meant it but kept it silent so she could catch every word. Eyes overflowing with tears from laughter and the attempt to remain quiet through them Mary stood up and brushed herself off at the end of Dana’s speech and began to walk back to the room. She couldn’t even react to Dana’s statement that with a few minor changes she could have a crush on Snape because she knew her system could not handle any more laughing like that.
She just kept walking as Dana caught up with her and couldn’t look at her friend lest she fall to the floor in another fit of giggles. Dana apparently had other plans and dragged Mary down another hallway before bursting out laughing herself. “No for the next decade at least.” Mary responded with more laughter of her own. “Come on let’s get back to the game; its D.J.’s turn and we gotta come up with something good.” With that Mary shoved aside her laughter and walked down the hall with her blank face on as a mask to hide her overwhelming amusement.
The joker silently obliged this time seeming to have resigned to the fact that he will be opening every ten minutes today until the girls had their fun. Mary smirked at him as she stepped gracefully into the room. This time she took a seat next to the fireplace on the floor and rested her head on the bricks with her eyes shut. Calm once more Mary looked up at the other girls. “D.J. truth or dare?” Mary said in a gentle apathetic tone.
“I have a dare if you accept it; and if you pick truth I'm sure someone can think of something. I dare you to kiss Mr. Vincent Crabbe on the cheek. Just a peck, you don't have to make yourself sick.” Mary said with a giggle at the end but her speech was in that same tone barely audible.

Dana laughed with Mary, and moved next to her back to the room behind the joxer to hear what Mary would think up as the next dare. Dana almost choked on the sip of butterbeer she had been taking, when Mary finished the dare she would have D.J. to do, should she pick a dare.
“That’s sick!” Dana laughed as she managed to speak again, “In my opinion that’s more horrifying than my dare with Snape. Ugh, no offence Mary, but that would make a smaller person who had weaker nerves sick!” Dana grimaced at the thought of kissing the bulky Slytherin and waited to see if D.J. would be up to it, or would she rather answer to a truth. “Anyway I think I saw Crabbe near the student lounge as well – probably eating something again,” Dana still mentioned – they wouldn’t have to hunt through the whole castle to find the sixth year Slytherin, depending on D.J. nerves and decision.
