" Aghhh!" Cass yelled as the staircase began to move behind her. Trying to regain her balance, she tripped on her robe and landed face first on the lower landing. She turned around to look behind her and the staircase she had just been standing on mocked her as it moved.
Cass righted herself promptly and began to dust herself off. The white dust billowed off her shoulders. " Someone she really complain about the housekeeping here."
She picked up the spilled contents of her bag. Picking up quills, parchment, and books she knew something was missing.
" My wand!? Where's my wand?" she exclaimed. She looked up on the staircase that she had just been standing on. Her wand was sitting precariously on one of the steps.
She had only one word to say about this situation. " Damn!"

As her shoes clapped against the still and empty hallways, Kori bit her pen between her teeth, and tied her hair up into a loose pony tail. Her hair was long so it still reached mid-back. She took her pen from out of her mouth, and made a few marks on the script in front of her. If they insisted she played this part, then she was going to make some adjustments. Kori turned right and headed up a staircase, just as she got on, it moved, "Bloody hell." She muttered as she gripped the railing so she wouldn't topple like the girl in front of her. Kori snickered lightly but, saw the girls wand a step in front of her. She stooped down swiftly and twirled it between her fingers, hearing the girl mutter a curse word, "Tut tut. Such words shouldn't come from the mouth of a girl your age." Kori spoke with a slight sarcastic drawl and raised her eyebrow at the young Gryffindor in front of her.
Outstretching her arm, Kori handed the girl her wand, then accidentally dropped it. For some odd reason, Kori felt like being mean. She usually didn't bother with such things, but she was in a horrible mood and figured, "why not?" It was the least she could do. After losing that muggle crime show part. She had thrown her script in the fire, and had no way of fixing it after it had burnt to ashes. So she had to forfeit the part, unforunately. And after all that memorization and practicing. She even had asked Kris Graas to help her with her lines at a point where she was much very desperate, "Here, take your wand. I'm not in mood for much games right now..." Kori told her with a slight shrug, and made her way past the girl trying to escape.

Cass muttered a word of thanks to the Slytherin girl that just passed her. She noticed the girl was reading a script.
She hurridly blurted out. " What are you reading? Is it a play? I love plays. I was in a play once. I was Alice in a play called 'Waking Alice.' It was by Tom Stoppard. You know, the guy who wrote 'Rosencratz and Gildenstern are Dead.' "
Feeling a bit awckward to have spoken so quickly.

Having almost made it passed, the girl spoke. About the script. Kori looked at the paper in her hands, at the top of the page in neat typing it read, "Our Town, by Thornton Wilder. Part: Emily Webb." Probably one of the most boring plays, Kori has ever taken part in. It was really a dull play, and it wasn't interesting at all. Girl meets guy, girl and guy get married, girl and guy have kid, girl tries to have second kid, girl dies in birth, girl relives day and can't take it, girl enters the life of the dead. Boooooorrrrriiiing.... Oh, and the dead people talk. Yeah, weird. Spinning on her heel, she looked at the girl, "What's your name?" She asked, purely out of curiosity and nothing more. She wasn't expecting a friendship from this girl. Not, really.
"Well, anyway- I'm Kori Williams. Slytherin fifth year." She introduced herself, but didn't lend a hand to shake. She merely leaned against the nearest wall and peered up at the girl with a raised eyebrow in her direction, "And no, I haven't heard of 'Waking Alice.' My mother might've though. Too bad I can't ask her. She's dead." Kori added with an emotionless look in her eyes. It was true her mother was dead. Suicide. Insanity. All because, Kori was a better actress than her.

Ashley did not know why she was in the library. Books surrounded the fourteen year old that seemed to make her even more bored than normal. Taking a blue Astronomy book she held it in her arms and walked over towards Madame Prince who looked at her with big eyes. "Madame Prince! I want this book. Elina says it good but I really don’t know. Do you know they call the constellation a dipper? But doesn’t it look like a diaper. Madame Prince don't fall asleep on me! I don’t talk that much. But really does the dipper look like a diaper?" Ashley asked leaning on the counter and waiting for the hold women's words. Madame Prince just starred at her in awe and nodded her head tiredly, "Ashley how many times do I have to say this. This is a library and threes no need for so many questions. They call it the dipper because it’s the label. Just read on in your book and learn something!" she told her and handed Ashley the book back. Sighing she took it and left the library feeling even more bored.
Shuffling frown the corridors, Ashley felt like ice skating or even dancing. Music filled her ears and seemed to take her to a whole another world. Closing her eyes she twirled around the room like she was landing a triple and stuck out her legs in front of her. "Here comes Ashley Hill. Trying the triple at great speeds. She coming down and lands perfectly. Thank you, thank you." Ashley yelled in the halls and bumped into a girl with blonde hair. Landing on the ground she noticed that it wasn’t a nice girl, maybe a drama queen. Gulping, Ashley noticed Cassandra and bounced off the flour. "Hey Cass what’s up chica? I was just at the library. Elina's really getting me into the stars girl. Ohm who are you? Your and actress that’s so cool. I never had been able to act. Even know my dad falls for my lame moves. But what’s script is that? Could you teach me? Please!" Ashley said looking at the older girl with begging puppy dog’s eyes.

Before the girl could answer, she felt a sudden thud in her back. She spun around and saw another girl lying on the floor. Kori scowled and crossed her arms, as the girl jumped up, acknowledged the other one. Apparently her name was Cass...and this girl was, related to Elina Hill. Which would make her Ashley Hill. Kori knew well of the Hill's, her father having eaten at their family resteraunt many a time. As the girl continued to speak, Kori got this sudden urge to strangle the Hufflepuff, but didn't do such a thing. When Ashley asked if Kori could teach her, Kori pulled her script back, "No!" She said sharply. Her Marian Paroo voice coming out as she said this.
"No, I most certainly will not!" Kori added, her tone sharper than ever. She rolled her eyes, and closed the script packet so the cover was over the first page. She tucked it into her bag and stuck the pencil in the bag as well. Kori could tell that this girl was going to annoy her. Now, everytime Kori went to the resteraunt there she would be. Jabbering in her ear, making Kori's ears bleed. She rolled her eyes at this thought, what fun.

Ashley looked at Kori with a smile on her face, she remembered this girl now. Kori came to her father’s restaurant and quite enjoyed it. Ashley was there to talk to the customers and play with the little children. Her father wanted Ashley to be there to make the place more "alive" for everyone to enjoy. Tucking a lock of golden blonde hair behind her ears, Ashley looked at Kori with tears in her eyes. This girl didn’t want to teach her at all! That was mean, and she didn’t even seem to like Ashley at all. This might be fun! She can annoy the heck out of the older girl.
Puting her hands behind her back, Ashley looked Kori straight in the eyes. Her brown ones locked with Kori's and an innocent smile spread across her face. "Kori....... Now theres no need to so nasty towards me. You know I am my dads favorite and he did start this restaurant own his own. So I don’t think you might want to know what well happen now do you." Ashley said turning her head to the right and letting her blonde hair flow on her face. A look of shear boredom was planted there and Ashley was trying her best not to break out in hyper ness.
"Nah I am just kidding you! Man I might be an actress after all. Cool!" Ashley said after a long silence grew between them. Her head was now up and her brown eyes sparkled more than ever. Noticing that Cassandra wasn’t saying anything, Ashley walked over towards the girl and stood next to her. United they stood! Looking at Cass she smiled and turned back towards Kori wondering what she was going to say.

Cass looked up at Kori with big eyes. She actually liked ' Our Town.' The way Thornton Wilder envisioned his play was wonderful. Only using simple props and no big sets, one had to really use her imagination to see the scenery.
She smiled. " I'm Cassandra Logton. Cass for short. I didn't use that moniker much before I got here, but its kind of stuck. ' Waking Alice' is quite a wonderful play. I never thought I was going to get a chance to ever be in it. Tom Stoppard is my favorate playwright. He's quite brilliant isn't he?"
She turned around and welcomed Ashley when she joined their group. When Kori had her outburt at Ashley, Cass was a little taken aback. She looked at Ashley. " It's okay. I know some actor workshops that are supposed to help you in acting. I can show them to you some time."

Kori was getting quite bored, and she could tell Ashley was trying to contain her hyperness. As she did at the resteraunt. Apparently, it wasn't working. When Ashley said something about something Kori looked at the younger girl, "was that a threat?" She asked, a cocked eyebrow. She then turned her gaze from Ashley as she said she was just kidding, and looked at Cass, preparing to answer her question, "I simply can not say. No I can not say at this time. Never heard of Tom Stoppard. Will look into him though." Kori responded with a curt nod and a small smile.
"I've been in some plays. More musicals then plays, though. Music Man, Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Footloose. Many many more." Kori added in a moment of deep thought. She had been in a lot of plays and musicals, simply because her mother had urged her to. At a young age, Kori was introduced to the theatre lifestyle.

Cass smiled at the girl even though she was being incredibl mean. " Phantom of the Opera is my absolute favoriate. I got to sit second row right orchestra when I saw it on Broadway. It was really nice to actually see this huge chandalier come down to the stage. Have you seen Jekyll and Hyde? I got a chance to see that in New York as well. Not my favoriate though. It was sort of depressing."
Cass tried to include Ashley in the conversation. " I know Elina is really into plays? Did she rub off on you as well?"

Kori shook her head sharply, "No, I haven't seen Jekyll and Hyde. Though, I am compelled to agree with you about Phantom of the Opera, I did enjoy playing the part of Christine in that one. I thought I would enjoy playing Meg, but Christine was fun. Interesting, actually." Kori stated with a raised eyebrow and a shrug. She fiddled with her hair and listened to what Cass was saying about Elina being interested in theatre. Then again, she wouldn't know if Elina was or not. Never really spent time talking to the Ravenclaw. Had no intention of doing so.

Ashley looked from Cassandra to Kori with a blank look on her face. The phantom of the opera? Music Man? What were these people saying! Even know Ashley had seen many of this broard way shows before, but slept through them until some one sang really loudly so she heard hear from the balcony. Tucking a lock of blonde hair behind her ears, Ashley looked at Cassandra and nooded her head, "Well I really dont like broard way shows or musicals. I like figure skating, Quidditch, and dancing. Those are my passion and I am planing on sticking to them. Well but Elina does love mucials, so I wold have to say my favorites are hair spray, and Stomp. No those are board way shows. Yep those are the ones I know of so far." Ashley said looking off into space trying to work her bain into remembering.
Just thank it all came to mind in her. Ashley felt over whellemed with hyperness and looked at everyone with a shine in her eyes. Music filled inside of her and she snaped her fingers and tried to remember that one song,
"'Cause the world keeps spinning 'Round and 'round And my heart's keeping time To the speed of sound I was lost til i heard the drums Then i found my way
'Cause you cant stop The motion of the ocean Or the sun in the sky You can wonder if you wanna But i never ask why" Ashley sang out puting her arms out infront of her like the board way people.

Cass shrugged her shoulder. " Well, it was a good guess. I'm really into Quidditch too. I'm one of the Beaters for Gryffindor. Speaking of which, I have a very anxious Ravenclaw I need to speak to today." Making a mental note to herself to do that, she turned back to Kori. She was starting to feel a bit smug. It was kind of funny that she knew about more plays and award winning playwrights than she did.
" So, have you done anything on TV or films?"
