Molly sat by the common room fireplace thinking about her dream and what it could possibly mean. She had had the dream the night before it was awful, she just couldn't stop thinking about it. Molly decided that if she kept thinking about it she would go crazy, so she decided to go some place where she could relax. She decided on the student lounge, where she often went to talk with her friends.
Molly stood up and swiftly made her way out the portrait hole and into the halls. When she finally got to the huge oak doors that was the entrence to the student lounge, she hastily pulled them open to reveal the crowded dim - lit room, with many people playing games and conversations that filled the room.
After seeing that no one she knew was there, she sat down by the fire. She stared at the flickering flames for a moment, but then turned her attention back to her thoughts. The fire made her warm and it was cozy sitting there.

Perseus sat in the cold, Cimmerian Slytherin Common room as the fire began burning low and a cold wind whistled with a high pitch as the Bloody Baron glided past him and through the wall. He had been sedulously experimenting with his potions all night long. Longing for a place of solitude, Perseus lighted the fire and walked out of the Slytherin Common Room. The hallways had an eerie glow to them and his foot steps resonated throughout the cooridor. He had been thinking a lot about the recent events and the inequity that seemed to be spreading like blood in one's veins thoughout the wizarding world.
As he walked by the corridor to the Student Lounge, Perseus found that the Lounge was quite. Perseus entered and was surprised to find many students conversing in low voices and a Gryffindor sitting by the fire that was burning with voracious hunger. Sitting down on a couch across from her, Perseus inquired and half joked with a slight grin, "Now, why would a Gryffindor be outside of their dormitories at this time of night?"

Molly jumped when she heard someone's voice and looked around the room. She saw a Slytherin sitting accross from her. Molly didn't know if she liked Slytherins or not. They had never givin her any problems, although she heard other people talk about how horrible they were, but the boy sitting across from her didn't look or sound mean, he even greeted her.
Molly caught the joke and laughed about it, she needed a good laugh. "Well, let's just say I'm a late night person." Molly smiled warmly at him. "My name is Molly by the way, nice to meet you." she said this and bit her lower lip, as she often did when speaking to someone she didn't quite know. "So what's your name?" she smiled slyly and looked into his eyes as she did so.

"Name's Feynman, Perseus Feynman. I know who you are," Perseus stated a-matter-of-factly. "You're Molly Stanford, right? Don't worry..... I'm slightly paranoid, so I keep an eye on everyone I see or meet and try to remember as much about them as possible. Anyways, I've had great fun blowing stuff up in the Slytherin Common Room. I hope that might spark something in your memory; the other Slytherins call me the 'Mad Scientist' and the 'Muggle lover'."
Perseus shifted his position as he place his heavy bag down. It was full of very sophisticated novels that he did not feel like reading at the time. Glancing outside at the flakes of snow slowly falling, Perseus began contemplating as his mind left the room and began reminiscing about the conversation he and Nasser had several nights before in the very room he sat.

Molly laughed as Perseus talked. "Oh yeah! I I've heard of you! So you're into pranks?" Molly really hoped he was because she loved them and could get along with anyone that loved them as much as herself.
"The Slytherins tease you? Well I guess they try to live up to their reputation of being mindless idiots who ignore people that aren't exactly like them." Molly said this in a rather disgusted voice and leaned back in the chair a little further.
"I'm glad you are a 'muggle lover' because I'm half blood." She added, remebering what Perseus said about the other Slytherins calling him names.

"Sure, I'm into pranks! Why would I not be? Anyways, the other Slytherins like to plot schemes of revenge that usually center around blaming me for whatever they have done. But, of course, I know about those schemes long before they have carried out their scheme and I avoid blame because of my reputation. It is true to my individuality, though. Yes, I know that you are half-half. My Ravenclaw friend Jaquin is also half-half. So, there really isn't anything to worry about," Perseus answered with a sly smile.
Deciding to change the subject, Perseus inquired, "So, how do you feel about the Kidnapp of Ginny Weasley? I am personally shocked by the bold move on You Know Who's part. The Dark Lord obviously wanted that to be noticed. But, I'm not that worried. I'm sure Dumbledore will be able to sort things out. After all, You Know Who was once a student under Dumbledore, you know."
((Perseus knows this stuff because is almost a direct descendant of Slytherin))

Molly shuddered at the thought of You know who. "well I personally think this is a new low, even for You know who. I didn't know Ginny very well, but I knew she had a lot do do with Harry. I am very frightened to go to Hogsmeade now, but I know that they wouldn't want some ordinary person, they can't get information from just anyone... I hope she's ok." Molly first heard of Voldemort when she was in her second year, she didn't know a lot about the man, only that he was once powerful but lost power when he tried to kill Harry Potter. She also heard rumers that he would rise again.
"I think Dumbledore can take care of it, but what if... They're to late. I mean knowing You know who usually kills his victims, dosn't he? I hate to think about that but it could happen." Molly finished and fell silent.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure Harry will rally up the DA sometime soon. Anyways, I'll also be helping his efforts, because I'm pretty good at dueling myself and I'm rather adept at brewing potions. Dumbledore always sees through You Know Who. I mean, You Know Who is only afraid of one man; Dumbledore. But, you know, 'even in the darkest of times, happiness can be found when you turn on the light....' You know, if you are worried about the darkness in this world and the dangers it creates, I could always teach you how to duel," Perseus continued after he listened to what Molly had to say. He unsheathed his black wand and twirled it between his fingers absent mindly. It whirled with blinding speed and made Perseus remisce about the way things had changed so much because of the inequities of one man; Voldemort. The man who had destroyed so many lives and caused them all to suffer seemed to have a voracious and interminable appetite for power. Perseus changed the subject to something that was a bit more light hearted, "So, Molly, do you have any plans for the Winter Break? Are you going on the school field trip to Switzerland?" ((Kind of short. But, I'll make it longer next time. ))

((it's ok, mine are always pretty short, I can never think of any thing to say))
Molly nodded as she listened to Perseus talk. She agreed with him, Dumbledore will take care of it, as he always did. When Perseus asked her about winter break she had to thimk for a while. What was she going to do. "Well, I didn't know there was a school field trip to Switzerland. I was planning to spend it with my dad, although I never traveled outside of England before because my dad could never afford it. Sooo I'll look into it and maybe I'll be able to go. It sounds like fun!" Molly smiled at the thought of actually going out of the country for once, it seemed exciting and adventurous, the kind of thing Molly would love to do.
"If you don't mind my asking... what was your life like, I mean before you came here?" Molly swiftly brushed her hair back thinking about her own past. The mother that she never had, her best friend Mary, and her lonley father. She worried about him often and was always writing to him. He seemed depressed whenever Molly was away from home, but who could blame him, he had no relatives that were alive except for his only daughter, and no one to talk to. Molly often wondered why he didn't go crazy talking to himself like you hear about most people that are alone for a long time.
Molly stopped thinking about her own past and listened intently to Perseus.

Perseus was a bit reticent in telling Molly about his past, but, deciding that now was a good time to let go of his mysterious past that had been manifested within himself for so long. He leaned back and began telling Molly about his previous, miserable life before coming to Hogwarts, "My father was and is still a renowned physicist in the muggle world, constantly traveling betweent he UK and the United States of America, contributing greatly to the new theories of everthing in development. He earned the noble prize for physics in 1984 for his outstanding contribution to the thermodynamics of quantum mechanics and theoretical physics. I also never spent much time with him, because of his business. My mother died when I was born and most of my cousins had already been accepted into Hogwarts by the time I was born. My father was almost a direct descendant of Salazar Slythering, so, naturally, my family disproved of his obessision for muggle sciences. I lived a rather lonely life during my early years with my Uncle and Aunt. The one thing I hated about them was that most of my family was made up of Pureblood extremists. When I reached age 6, my father sent me to muggle primary school where I found my affinity for mathematics and sciences. By 5th grade, I was learning Algebra and some Geometry. It was no surprise that I was accepted at Hogwarts. I was surprised by the sorting hat's comments; it had said that I would have done extremely well in Ravenclaw and Gryffindor because of my 'intelligence and bravery to use it' but, put me in Slytherin because it felt that the da**ed house would suite me best. Of course, I got along and by my 4th-5th year, I had mastered Calculus, physics, astrophysics, advanced chemistry, potions, and alchemy. I acquired all Oustandings in Potions, Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms, and DADA and was also sent an offer from Princeton University in the US to let me attend their school and ameliorate my skills in the subjects I loved to study. So, here I am now, working as hard as I can as a student in Hogwarts and making new friends..." Perseus smiled and added one last comment, "My best friends that I have now would probably be Jaquin Prokenstien a Ravenclaw 6th year, Nasser Salah a Gryffindor 5th year, and Sethia Wagner a Hufflepuff 5th year."
Pausing to take a breath, Perseus inquired, "So, what was your life like before Hogwarts?"

Molly listened to perseus tell her about his past. She was a bit stunned when he told her that his mother had also died when he was born.
When he had finished Molly sat there kind of taking it all in, but when he asked her about her past she came back to her senses.
Molly took a deep breath and dived into telling about her complicated past. "Well I was born on Febuary 14th. My mother also died of giving birth to me and when she did I lived with my muggle father and went to a normal school and did normal things. I knew I was different from the other kids the second I walked into that crowded Kintergarden class room. Although I had my differences I became very popular amongst my fellow students. After a few years my friends deserted me for only God knows why, but one friend stayed by my side, my best friend... Mary Conneley. We grew up together. Well, anyway I got the letter to Hogwarts on my birthday, while my father and I were eating. My dad thought the letter was a joke and threw it away. He didn't know about my mother being a witch. We kept getting the letters until my father decided to take it seriously. When I got to Hogwarts the first year, the hat barley even touched me and it idmeddiatley yelled out Gryffindor. The Gryffindors were nice and I made friends quickly I love the Gryffindor house... everyone's very friendly. I'm best at care of magcal creatures and Transfiguration. My best friend would have to be a Hufflepuff third year named Jordan Cortes... not sure if you know her. And I just met Justin Lionheart the other night... I like him... he seems like a good person and a good listener, we were talking about why we were up so late. I also met a Slytherin 6th year named Jersey something or other. She dosn't really like me, especially since I told her off. And that is what my past was like... rather boring."
Molly smiled at that. "Just curious, what countries have you been to?"

"Well, I have been to several countries, the first two the United States and Germany, as I also speak German and 50% of my heritage is from that country. Most wizarding students I've met there go to Durmstrang or Beauxbatons although there is another famous magical school located near Berlin. Of course, I can't remember the name because that was years ago. I'm not sure if you know my friend Jaquin, the best Care of Magical Creatures and Charms student in my year? Well, we have our divergencies; I'm best at Potions, Arithmancy, and Astronomy while he's good at the two subjects I just mentioned. Anyways, I traveled with him all over the world, ranging from China to Brazil to Egypt and lastly Ireland. We've had great fun going around, and his father and mother have already given him permission to attend the trip to Switzerland. So, have you decided on coming or not?" Perseus replied with great effort.
Perseus was mesmirized by the dwindling flames in the fireplace, watching the peices of spare parchment flutter like dying birds and the penumbrae being cast in all directions. He noticed that if was getting late, as the Cimmerian sky sparkled light from the distant stars. "So, what places have you been to? Do you play Quidditch?" Perseus asked with a meaningful glance at Molly.
