"Lucky you being well-travelled," Faith said, with a smile, "I'm half-greek so I've been there and that's about it. But even being half-greek I don't speak the language. My parents completley despair but I just use the excuse that I love English too much. There's a problem though, my grandmother doesn't speak English so when we visit it's kind of confusing. But if you just smile and nod then it seems to be okay."
She laughed, leaning back in her chair, a fond memory of many holidays in Greece in her mind.
Several people made hushing noises behind her and she winced, remembering where she was as Madame Pince narrowed her eyes.
"Sorry, forgot," Faith mouthed at the Librarian.

Jordan giggled as she saw Madame Pince shush them. She couldn't help but, feel satisfied when she made Pince so angry with her noise. It was a feeling of accomplishment. Jordan tugged at the pony tail holder in her hair, braided her hair quickly, then pulled it back around her brown hair.
"Well, I lived in Spain all my life. Until my tenth birthday, then my mom and dad split, and my mom and I moved to Ireland. There we met Tuck and Katie, I hate them so. I know Spanish, but that's it. English is a second language to me, but I hide that well." Jordan explained with a slight shrug. She then turned to Caiest and smiled with a tilt of her head, "How about you? Any second languages or so? Please, say you have a whole list of languages you speak, for I don't want to have to go over my HoM essay."

Cass snickered at Jordan's remark about the essay. " I don't particularly want to go over mine either." She rolled the parchment back up and placed it in her bag. She pulled out the transfiguration book she had been reading, and got out a particular page.
" I've been having a time turning that stupid tea glass into a bird. Anybody got it yet?"

Faith screwed up her face.
"I managed to get the glass to sprout wings," She tried, following suit and taking out her book. She found the correct page and studied it, biting her lip.
"Maybe it's the wand movement or something," She concluded, looking up again and pointed at the diagram with a confused look, "I don't remember doing anything as fancy as that."

Cass laughed. " I really don't know why I would ever need to turn a glass into a bird. I've never been able to see why we have to do all this wierd stuff to get to the good stuff. I mean, I'm really hoping I can become an animagus."
She turned the page to animagi in her book. It showed a table on how to do it and the incantation. " Don't you think it would be cool to do?" She looked back to the man who was shifting between his human form and his wolf form.

Caiest listened as Jordan, Cassandra and Faith began discussing languages and heritages. Thanks to her parents always traveling she had learned loads of languages as she sometimes traveled with them. She smiled as Jordan asked her if she spoke any other languages.
"I can speak spanish, german, japanese, chinese, and a little bit of french. " She said counting off the languages on her fingers.

Faith stared at Caiest slightly.
"I think we have a genius in the building ladies and gentleman," She marveled, "Five languages. Right well I consider myself officially pathetic."
She laughed and turned to Cass.
"An animagi?" She said, leaning over to get a better look of the page Cass was on, "Well that would definitley put our glass to bird trick to shame. Go on then, tell us. What animal would you be?"

Cass blushed alot. Not wanting to lie to her friends, " Well, actually I'm a panther." She hoped this didn't get to much of a shock out of them.
She flipped through the book again trying to hide her embarrasment.

"Not a genius just bored and I have too much time on my hands." She said to Faith.
She turned her attention to Cassandra and gave a small smile as she admitted to being an animagi. It didn't surprise her all that much that Cassandra was an animagi. Though nothing surprised her all that much. She could tell that Cassandra was embarassed about the admittance.
"A panther huh? It suits you."

Cass answered a little to eagerly. " Really, you think? I always pictured myself as a cat, but not a bit cat. I was always thinking like a house cat or something."
Cass opened the book. " I had to do a lot of studying to get there, but it was worth it."

Caiest smiled lightly when Cassandra said that she'd always pictured herself as a house cat. "No house cat's too common it would be better suited for a quiet person with no personality whatsoever. You don't strike me as that type of person. Seeing as how I don't know you though I could be wrong."
