Phoebe gave a yawn as she woke up that morning the the dormitry. She quickly got her things together to go take a quick shower and an hour later Phoebe was walking into the library. Why the library? She did not know but she was still half sleep and when she was half sleep she usually wandered into random rooms.
She smirked at the librarian and walked into the back of the room where she could look out the window without anyone bothering her. She leaned against the window feeling the coldness of the glass. She shivered at first but then she smiled as she watched snowflakes fall.

Ivy woke up knowing that today would be another hard challenge. Every day for her now was a challenge to get through, and there was no reward for getting through them. Only another day. All the same. Life was all the same. One long, hard struggle. Where was her hope? Where was the vitality in her that being at Hogwarts had used to bring? Ivy didn't know where it was, nor did she have the strength to search for it. Her friends were trying, but she didn't have the strength to point them in the right direction so they were unlikely to ever succeed. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack. A haystack of misery. Not yellow and brown though. A dark, gloomy, black depression.
Ivy grabbed an apple and a piece of buttered toast from the breakfast table. There was hardly anyone around to glance up at her. Ivy always woke early now. Worries kept her from sleeping to start with, then nightmares kept her sleep infrequent, and she woke up, always early, always with the same terrible feeling in the pit of her stomach.
Ivy knawed at the toast and fruit at random, and broke into a run as she neared the library. She could feel it coming. Madam Pince must think she was a complete lunatic, actually. Ivy threw up all over the library carpet. Ignoring Madam Pince's appraising stares, Ivy muttered 'Scourgify'. Thankfully, it vanished, along with the smell, but Ivy was still left with a bitter taste in her mouth. She walked over to the nearest window table, and sat down at it, grinding her face into her hands as she waited for the voices to take over.

Phoebe looked over towards the doorway as she heard it open. She was at a position where she could see them but they couldn't see her. In walked in Ivy and then something weird happened. Ivy just threw up on the carpet. Phoebe stared in disguist and disbelief.
"What in the world?" She thought to herself as it disappeared and Ivy stumbled over by Phoebe. Phoebe looked at Ivy wondering if she was ok. Phoebe could tell she wasn't.
Phoebe stayed where she was and said quietly to Ivy, "You okay?"

Ivy jumped as someone asked her if she was okay. She hadn't realised that there was anyone anywhere near her. No doubt the whole school would now get to know about this, if it was anyone except for a very close friend. "No..." she moaned to herself, forgetting that she had company. Then she remembered again and looked up with a jerk, shying away as she recognised the Slytherin badge.
Ivy looked down and saw her hand, still marked from the ropes. She touched it tenderly and winced as it stung. She had to get away from the Slytherin, before they did something to her as well. She didn't want to spend another morning unable to do anything except for wait for someone to come and help her. Or for the Slytherins to come back. Ivy stood up unsteadily, looking at the girl with blurred eyes. She looked sort of familiar. Maybe she was one of them! Maybe that was why she was asking, she was just feigning concern. Ivy had to get away from her as quickly as possible.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay," Ivy said, staring right past the Slytherin and at the wall. She tried to smile, which ended up being a lopsided failure, and hobbled away, almost doubling over in pain as her stomach objected again. Ivy retched again, as she panicked and wondered whether she should go and see whether Madam Pomfrey could do anything for her. But 'if she had any sense' she wouldn't tell anyone. Ivy saw Madam Pince staring at her and cleaned it up. She tried to stare at the formidable librarian, and get out of her gaze. She stumbled over to the same table again, although which table she was not herself aware of, and rubbed her eyes repeatedly, trying to make herself seem slightly less disconcerted so she could go and hide in her dormitory, away from the cruel world.

Phoebe watched as Ivy gave her an odd look than walked away...throwing up yet again! Phoebe's eyes grew huge in disbelief. What the heck was up with this chick?
Phoebe jumped up from her spot at the window sill and walked over by Ivy who had stumbled back to where Phoebe was. She raised an eyebrow than touched teh girls shoulders.
She had never saw such behavior from anyone, much less Ivy.
"No, you aren't. What's going on? Calm down. Stay still." Phoebe told her as softly. She bit her lip thinking of what else to say. Truth was she was clueless on how to handle this.

Ivy flinched and shuddered as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up, trying to draw herself away, and saw with panic that the light pressure on her shoulder was coming from exactly the same girl as she had been trying to get away from before. Her eyes wild, she stood up, stumbling backwards away from the girl, her eyes bright, pink light flashing in them as what seemed like the very bright daylight outside (despite the fact that it was grey and snowflakes were falling) dazzled her. She ended up sitting on the floor, slightly crumpled, as she lost her rather precarious balance and fell backwards.
Ivy looked up at the Slytherin in sheer panic. She seemed to be advancing slowly. It must be one of the same Slytherins. One of them had done that, when she was bound and on the floor, before depriving her of her voice. But Ivy wasn't bound this time. She scrabbled for her wand, but she couldn't find it. She couldn't find it! She tried to back away from the Slytherin, to stand up, to run, but she couldn't. So instead she tried to meet the girl's stare full on, which was hard enough. Ivy could hardly see it anyway. Her eyes still had the pink light in front of them, now turning to red. "You don't want me to be here," Ivy said, almost to herself. "You don't think I belong here. Do I belong here?" She tried to get away, but it was too late. At least someone might find her slightly quicker now.
