Watching Jaquin do the spell, he finished perfectly. Applauding his actions Filius went on. "Good, Good Work Jaquin!" He said with a smile. Picking up his wand he pointed at the sphere as it vanished. Flicking his wand three spheres appeared with the rest, levitating with the rest. The colors now were Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, White and clear.
Looking around the room Filius' eyes landed on a seventh year. "Gram Tonavan, your turn! I want you to make the color Orange." Filius said with a nodd for him to begin.

Gram heard his name as he looked toward the Professor. "Oh okay." he said was he rose his wand "Accio Red, Accio Yellow!" He said as the two orbs flew toward him. Floating in the air in front of him Gram though of the color orange, how much red should be in and how much yellow. Holding his wand he begain the counter clockwise circles. After two of them he went to a swoop and flick. "Transfigorus Totallus!" He exclaimed as light blinded him. Opening his eyes he noticed a single sphere with a orange oil inside. With a smile he set his wand down.

Filius watched as Gram Tonavan, a Hufflepuff 7th year did the spell. "Good Job, very talented with a wand. I will make sure I write that in your records before you leave at the end of the year." Bowing his head slightly to Gram, Flilus went on. "Alright, now two girls. Catalina- I want you to make, purple." He said with a smile as he looked around the room for another girl. "Julie Rosewood. When Catalina is done, feel free to attept the color Light blue." Filius instruced both girls as he set down his wand to let the girls begin.

Catalina soon found herself being called on, she was to make purple. Taking her wand she pointed it at the red ball, "Accio red!" The ball flew towards her and she caught it then set it down on the table. Pointing her wand then at a blue ball she again cast her spell "Accio blue!" The blue ball shivered a bit then floated over to her. Setting both down on the table she looked at them and moved them side by side. "Transfigorus Totallus!" She said as she waved her wand in the proper motion and flicked her wrist. A bright flash of light engulfed the two balls. When it dimmed again there sat a dark purple ball on her table. Catalina frowned at the color, dark purple wasn't very pretty, she much rather preferred lighter shades, in particular was her favorite, pale magenta.

Soon it was Julie's turn to perform the charm like the rest of the students before her. Julie watched the others and copied the motion Professor Flitwick had shown them without saying the incantation out loud, as he had instructed them not to practise, which was something new for Professor Flitwick. Usually he got them to repeat the incantation after him several times to make sure they were pronouncing it correctly. She supposed it was because they were older and he no longer needed to make sure they carried out all his instructions correctly.
She watched Jaquin make green, Gram make orange and lastly Cat make purple. Julie smiled a little at the expression on Cat's face. She knew Cat's favourite colour was lavender and the dark shade of purple she had just made was obviously not what she had in mind. Still she had performed the charm correctly and Julie hoped she would too. It didn't look that hard as long as you knew which colours to mix, and she had paid attention to how the others had made there colours so she could do it correctly when her turn came.
Julie's task was to make light blue. Julie smiled to herself as this was Ravenclaw's colour. "Accio blue!" she chanted and pointed her wand at the glass sphere containing the navy blue colour. The ball zoomed towards her and Julie caught it and placed on her desk. "Accio white!" she chanted again, and another glass sphere came zooming towards her. "Time to start mixing," thought Julie to herself and she then performed the last step. "Transfiguris Totalus!" she said, performing the two anticlockwise motions she had been shown and which they had used many a time in Charms classes, and then the quick swish and flick from left to right. The two glass spheres collided with each other but there was no breaking noise. Instead there was a startling white light for a few seconds, and the spheres floated for a few seconds on the desk as one sphere which seemed to be spinning at a very high velocity, and then the light disappeared in a flash and the new sphere landed on Julie's desk with a dull thud. Julie looked at the colour before her. It was a lovely sky blue, which was not Julie's favourite shade of blue for Julie actually preferred a slightly darker hue, in fact she really liked periwinkle blue. Nevertheless she had accomplished the task as the Professor had asked her to and that was more than enough.

Filius watched Catalina attempt the spell. Smiling at her look on her face, he understood why her face seemed a tab bit upset, but she did the spell perfectly like the others.
Julie went on right after Catalina. She mastered the spell just the the three before her. "Good with you girls! Im glad I didnt let you all practice. You all are so good in Charms, amazing how you all addapted to my teaching from year 1 to now 6th or 7th!" Filius sounded with a smile. "Alright... Harry Potter, your turn. I want you to make... Brown." Filius said with a teasing smile. Brown was a confusing color, but he had faith in Harry.
(( If I have not called on you, post you rasing your hand so I can get you in. By tomorrow evening if no one other than Harry has posted, this class will close. ))

Harry watched Jaquin, Gram, Catalina, and Julie accomplish the spell. When Julie was finished with her spell Harry turned to her and said, "Good job." Just as Professor Flitwick started to talk again.
Listening to the Professor, Harry got called on and he had to figure out the color brown. He knew two colors mixed together didnt make it, not even red and black. Holding his wand in his hand he studied the spheres untill he knew what to do.
"Accio Red!" Harry said pointing to the Red Orb, as it quickly flew toward him. Letting the sphere sit in the air in front of him, Harry called another Sphere. "Accio Yellow!" he exclaimed, As yellow flew towards him. Taking both orbs from the air, he set them in front of him as he held out his wand and started on the spell. Doing the movements Harry exclaimed, as he flicked his wand "Transfiguris Totalus!" The Red and Yellow spheres moved toward Each other as a light came from them as they touched each other. As the light dimmed Harry saw the sphere with the color Orange in it.
Still deep in though Harry looked over the orbs as he exclaimed again "Accio Blue!" The blue sphere shot toward him as he set it next to the orange sphere. Thinking in his head just how much blue he needed he thought hard. Harry was good in DADA, Charms needed work in his department, but Harry was a good thinker he thought things through well and he was good with his wand. Still focusing his thoughts on just how much blue he needed, Harry called the spell out again. "Transfiguris Totalus!" A bright green light shot out as the two spheres made contact with each other. As that light dimmed, an ugly color that was in the single orb in front of him. It was a slight brown color, but it looked a bit off.
Looking up at the Professor he looked at him like he wasnt finished. Flicking his wand over the orb, he rose it into the air, as he matched up the new colored orb with the spheres that were left over. "Accio Black and White!" harry exclaimed as both spheres shot toward him as he controled where they went. Taking the ugly sphere, he moved it to the side and put it out of the way. "Transfiguris Totalus!" He said as he pointed towards the Black and white sphere. A white light shot again around the room as they made contact, leaving a gray orb in its place. Darting his eyes from the ugly orb to the gray one Harry slightly nodded to himself.
"Transfiguris Totalus!" Harry said for the final time as the two spheres collided and made a orange light boom around the room as they met. That light took the longest to dim away, but when it finally did a medium brown sphere was left floating in the air in front of Harry.

Filius watched as Harry kept attempting the color. He went though many colors as he ended up on the correct color. "Very Good Harry, and Great Job to everyone who did the spell today." Filius smiled at Harry as he clapped softly.
Turning around he pointed his wand at the board as the homework appeared.
-- Write a 100 word essay on Charms in general. Why do you need to know them, and some side effects of bad charms. Also Give examples of charms you would like to know by the end of the year.
