Beth smiled as Dana accepted her offer at a game. "Well, actually, I have been thinking about quidditch a lot," Beth sighed... "I didn't know if the team needed anyone though, so I told myself to forget about it" She looked around pondering what she wanted to play. Nothing that exerts too much energy, but would still keep them occupied. "So, you're cousins in Slytherin huh?" She leaned against the tree and emerged herself into thought. "What positions are open on the team?" Beth asked, not only for herself but for Kathryn as well. "Anyways, about that game, any ideas?" she sat for a second thinking and then an abnormally large smile came across her face. She gave Kathryn the look and then turned to Dana "So Dana, truth or dare...?" she let her words trail off and waited for Dana's daring response.
((thanks to Mary for the game idea... ;D))

Kathryn threw another chocolate frog in her mouth and stuffed yet another dumbledore into her purse. 'geez... she thought to herself. She looked up at dana and nodded to her questions about flying. once she'd swallowed the chocolate she began, "My mum teaches me every summer. She was seeker...but I'd much rather be Chaser or beater...mostly Chaser though."
she leaned against a tree as the girls discussed a game, agreeing with dana that she didn't want to be bruised or tired. She let out a yawn and waited for beth's idea. Her eyes widened as Beth said Truth or Dare and she leaned forward as she waited for Dana's answer.

Dana smiled. New possible players for Ravenclaw – that suited Dana just fine. “New positions? Well, Cho is graduating so I’ll take on the seeker place. Also I think I have a spot opening for a chaser – maybe even two – a beater and I’m not sure about keeper. Kam actually wanted the keeper position for himself,” Dana stated recalling her players list, “Besides even when you won’t get on the pitch at every moment – at least you could play as a reserve. That’s about to count as something as well, right?”
Hearing the questions about Slytherins Dana smirked. IT was a rather nice imitation of a Slytherin smirk – with a lot of her friends being Slytherins it had kind of attached itself to Dana. She was the only student from other houses who sometimes sat at the Slytherin house during dinner-times. Both girls looked at her expectantly when Beth asked her Truth or Dare. Dana looked over to the lake and pondered about it for a moment. Truth would be easier, but Dana felt like doing something. Lowering her eyes, Dana grinned: “I have just two requests. I don’t want to kiss Snape nor any of the professors and I don’t want to proclaim my ‘undying love’ to him again – I’ve been dared to that before. But otherwise I’m in game. Dare me.”

Beth smiled when she heard Dana say 'Dare Me' She pondered what to do for a moment and then turned to Dana. "I dare you to strip down to your under garments and run to the lake screaming like a banchee... " Beth smiled happily with what she had come up with and waited for Dana's response. 'This should be good,' she thought.

Dana arched a lazy eye-brow upon hearing the dare. She had been expecting something a lot worse. She wasn’t a shy girl and she was in good enough shape as well. Besides a quick dip into the lake might feel pretty nice. Standing up Dana pulled of her shoes. Pulling her T-shirt over her head Dana smiled wickedly at some fourth year boy who stopped to stare in surprise. Pushing off her shorts as well Dana took off her watch as it wasn’t water-proof and saluted to the two younger girls: “As I’m not a banshee, I don’t have a clue how well I’ll do with the screaming, but I’ll do my best.”
Dana smiled – she was wearing a sporting-bra, so there really wasn’t much to be ashamed of – turned and walked towards the lake. Getting far away enough from the trees, Dana burst into a quick jog and whooping happily burst into a full run towards the lake, making her way to a bit higher point near the lake where certainly everyone would see her. Giving a wave on the run Dana yelled happily and jumped over the ledge feeling the water surround her a moment later. The sensation was pleasant. Dana swam under the water for a second, before coming up for air again and started moving to the shore.
“I think I’ll give you a 8,5 for the jump,” a sixth year Ravenclaw – one of Dana’s friends – shouted from the shore, “And nice costume. I’d come and help you out, but you have a killer right-hook. And a mean cousin.” Dana just laughed and climbed to the shore bowing at some random comments being shouted her way before starting to move back to where she had left her clothes and Kathryn and Beth. “Does that satisfy the dare?” Dana asked with a smile picking up her wand and using a quick spell to dry her off, before starting to pull on her jeans shorts, “Alright, Kathryn. Truth or dare.”

Kathryn leaned against the tree laughing at Dana's display of bravery. When the question came to her though, she stopped laughing immediatly. She looked to Beth for help, but knew it wouldn't come. She fought with herself with what to choose. 'time to break outta my bubble...' she thought to herself, "Same rules as you Dana, and Dare..." Her cheeks burned and a pink tinge came to the surface as she waited for her dare.

Beth laughed histerically as Dana ran through the grounds screaming wildly. She didn't expect such bravery, but it was still as funny as she imagined it to be. When Dana returned she knew they were in for it however, it's always easy to give a dare, but to receive is a little harder. She sighed with relief when Dana turned and asked Kathryn "truth or dare?" Beth felt bad that little Kat was on the spot, but she was still relieved that she had dodged a dare from Dana. She waited quietly after Kat said dare, wondering what she was going to have to do.

Dana grinned back and Elizabeth and Kathryn at their laughter. That was the whole point of the game – to make sure everyone had a good time. That was partially why Dana never backed out of a dare – or a truth – and tried to make her reaction as funny for the others as possible. She wasn’t ashamed of herself either. A grin returned to Dana’s face as she recalled how she had proclaimed her undying love to Snape in front of the Student lounge in the middle of the day. That had had to be one of the worst dares she had ever got.
Eyeing the first year Dana evaluated her possibilities while sending a lazy glance over the grounds. There was always the chance of doing a dare concerning some Slytherin, but as none of her friends seemed to be near-by, Dana dropped the idea. “Dare,” Dana muttered with a sigh her eyes traveling towards the castle, “Alright, see that fifth year Slyth there? With that owl on his shoulder? How about you go over and give that owl a quick kiss.” Dana eyed her cousin – looked like he was going to spend his detention in the green-houses, and was now waiting for Sprout to come out of the school. Shouldn’t be a too hard, since Dan aknew Kris woudl get the point of it quickly and wouldn't hrut Kathryn. Even though the first year didn't know the relation between Dana nad Kris, so approaching an older Slytherin like that might be a rather difficult task for her.

Kathryn bit her lower lip and played with the grass trying to pretend she didn't hear her dare. She looked up at Dana and gave a weak smile. "The owl? Not the boy? Well that's not...that bad..." She stood and walked to the boy, giving one last glance back to her friends. 'A fifth year! I hoe he doesn't use too bad of a jinx...' she thought as she walked over, keeping her eye on the ground. She reached the boy and smiled, "Hi there...I..uh..noticed your beautiful owl..." She pet it and smiled weakly at the boy. She gave one glance back at Dana to see if she was watching and then kissed the owl on the top of the head. "He's adorable...really..." With that she turned and left the boy standing there bewildered and Kathryn's cheeks burned and turned a deep shade of pink as she made her way back to the tree.

Beth watched as her friend went over to the Slytherin boy. She noticed that he was both tall and quite handsome, matter of fact. With every step it seemed that Kathryns eyes got bigger and her cheeks became more red. As Kathryn got closer Beth began to get jealous, she wanted to get close to the boy, but she knew she would never do such a thing unless dared. She shrugged off the jealous and continued to watch as her friend made it up to the boy and began to talk. The boy looked as though he wanted to run but then she reached over and kissed the snowy white owl. Beth giggled as her friend ran back to their tree leaving the slytherin boy looking both shocked and confused. She let Beth calm down for a moment and then smiled at her "So, who's next Kat?" she said half speaking half giggling. She hoped she would go to Dana but knew that it was very unlikely. So instead she just sat crossing her fingers that if she did get dared it wouldn't be too horrible.

Kat looked at her friend and shook her head, "Who's next?! Do you have to even ask? You of course! So Bethy wethy...Truth or Dare?"

Beth groaned loudly and uncrossed her fingers that had brought her absolutely no luck at all. She threw her hair over her shoulders and looked to her best friend, "Well, Dare," she said trying to look excited, she knew it wasn't working however. There was no way she was going to pick truth... truth was for wussy's, at least that it was her older sister Leena had always told her when she forced her to pick Dare. Leena was the reason Beth hated being dared, she felt obligated to choose dare only so that her life, pride really, would be thrown to others at her own expense. However, Beth never backed out on a dare, no matter what it be, that was another thing Leena had taught her. She sighed mildly and looked to her friend Beth, ready for her dare.

Kat rubbed her chin and thought deeply. 'damn it...I'm no good at Daring..' She thought for a moment and realized the rules weren't there. She smiled a devilish looking smile and turned to her friend. She bit her lower up and waited for suspense. "Beth, I dare you to steal the quidditch balls and try to strike up a quidditch game right here!" She crossed her arms and looked defiantly at her friend, hoping her dare wasn't lame.

Beth sighed as she heard her dare, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't easy. She stood up from the grass and looked down at her fist year friend. She smiled slightly and said, "You're on." She smoothed the wrinkles from her robes and pushed her silky lockes from her face. She turned away from them and headed towards the quidditch pitch.
At first she ran, then began to sprint in order to get the dare over with faster. It seemed like a thousand years but she finally reached the large wooden doors that led to the quidditch pitch, it was time. She pushed the doors open and was relieved to see that there were no teams practicing, only a few lone students. She looked around the huge pitch, amazed by how large it look from where she was standing, spotting the equipment her heart dropped remembering that this was a dare. She headed towards the little wooden door in the side of one of the large pillars. Once inside she searched for the trunk of quidditch balls, her eyes fell upon them in the far right corner. She pushed her way threw the broom and old robes until she made it back to the trunk. She grabbed the handle and began to drag it out, passed the quidditch pitch doors and toher friends.
"Alright," she said sitting down and starting to unlatch the trunk, "Anyone up for a game?" She pulled the quaffle out of the trunk and tossed it to Kathryn, a big smile on her face. Her dare was complete.
