Bee walked through the Hogwarts castle, watching people talk happily to their friends. She sighed and walked slowly down the hall, making sure no one steps on her feet. Bee looked out for the Slytherins too, just in case they were in a bad mood today. Or..even a good mood would be bad news for Bee. Since she was a mudblood, she was one of the Slyths favorite targets. Even Jack had marked her down on his abuse list. But that was a long time ago and they hardly talked to each other anymore. She hardly knew him. She had been avoiding him for a while, ever since he had started getting meaner and rougher. She moved throughout the crowd, stopping near the oak front doors. She decided to go on outside and relax.
The wind was blowing everywhere in strong gusts, but Bee didn't really mind it. It felt good to her and as her clothes blew around her she settled down near the lake. The wind was making small waves in the lake, which lapped hungrily against Bee's feet. She sat down in the sand and picked up a rock near her that was smooth and small. She threw it out in the lake, attempting to skip it, but it sunk to the bottom with a plunk. Bee sighed again and looked out at the wild lake.

"Jordan! Jordan wait up!" Cynthia called, chasing down the Hufflepuff fifth year. Jordan didn't wait up, she had enough of Cynthia and her self-pity trips. Jordan quickly took a right and headed out into the grounds, hoping to the lord Cynthia wouldn't follow. Jordan looked over her shoulder and sighed with relief as she saw Cynthia head back inside. If it was thing Cynthia hated, it was the outdoors. Jordan turned her attention back to the front and tucked some stray strands of hair behind her ears.
She walked towards the lake, her shoulderbag banging against her legs, her dress shirt coming untucked from her skirt. Classes were done for the day, and she loosened her tie and unbuttoned her shirt a little bit. She hated wearing it buttoned all the way. Jordan sighed and saw that someone was already at the lake. Tilting her head, she headed over towards the girl who didn't seem too happy and sat down next to her, "Hello." She said in a semi-cheery voice.

Bee started when a girl came and sat down by here. She seemed nice enough, saying hello and all. Bee smiled and looked at the girl. She was a Hufflepuff, a couple years older than Bee by the looks of it.
"Hi," she said with much enthusiasm as possible. It didn't sound the greatest but Bee didn't really mind. "I'm Bridget, Bee for short, Gryffindor third year." She smiled again and held out her hand for the girl to shake once she had introduced herself. Bee had thought that she had heard a commotion somewhere in the far distance, but she couldn't be sure if this had been the girl who had caused it. Bee didn't know many Hufflepuffs, and the ones she did she never really got to know that well. She looked out at the lake once again.
"Very windy out here today, isn't it?" Bee asked without looking at the girl. "I don't mind it, though. I would prefer a warm day with a light breeze, but this will do. After all, school is almost over and...got to enjoy what comes along." She felt a blush creep to her cheeks. Here she was, chatting about the weather. She looked away so the girl wouldn't see it. She then turned back and looked around. Not to many people were outside today considering it was so windy. She smiled. This was the way she liked it.

Jordan shook the girls hand and smiled in warm greeting, "Jordan Lehane. Hufflepuff Fifth year." She introduced herself in her normal manner and then looked out past the trees. Trying to capture the beauty. It was summer out, and Jordan was bored. During the winter she would ice skate, but she couldn't in the summer- it was too hot for her to do anything. Jordan sighed and turned back to Bee as she talked about the weather. She thought she saw a blush on Bee's cheeks but wans't positive, so she didn't dwell on it. Instead Jordan giggled and nodded in agreement.
"The wind doesn't bother me, but I perfer snow to wind. You see; when it's warm like this- there isn't any snow or it isn't cold enough for water to freeze to ice. I like ice skating, and I know I could just freeze the lake with my wand- but it wouldn't be the same, you know?" Jordan told her with that infamous twinkle in her left eye. She looked back at the lake and sighed- wishing it was winter again so Jordan could lace up her ice skates and skate a routine. THough she knew that when it did come winter again; she would wish it would be summer. That was the irony.
"Summer's okay though, until we leave. Then it's just dull, and for some people it's bad. I mean- there are a lot of people at this school where Hogwarts is their sanctuary. I hate to be them when they leave to go home..." Jordan shuddered at this and looked at Bee with a small smile. Jordan had come from a very welcoming and open family. Her parents had accepted that she was a witch, along with everyone else who knew- but she knew there were kids who parents shunned them because of it.
