Brooke walked into the grounds. Her cloak wrapped tightly around her. It was chilly outside and she was getting colder by the second.
The freezing wind hit her face. She just smilied. Walking into the the bushes she found a seat on the benches and sat down.
Reaching into her bag she removed her book. She slowly began to read.

It was a rather chilly May day but Ivy decided to go outside nevertheless. At least the skies had some small offering of blue in them, compared to the incessant rain that had been the main tale they had to tell the past few days. A little depressing. Ivy enjoyed going outside, since the fresh air always made her feel more free and gave her less chance to brood. The rain had restricted the amount she was able to go out. Quidditch practices were always in the open air, rain or shine, so she had been out a bit, but when she was revising, she needed to do it inside when going out would mean getting all her notes wet and the ink running. Ivy took her Astronomy textbook with her as well as a Muggle novel she was reading at present.
When Ivy stepped outside it was rather colder than she had expected. Presumably the sun hadn't been getting through enough. But it would warm up; it was nearly June. She pulled her yellow Hufflepuff jumper down. There weren't many people outside today. She went for a small walk by the lakeside and returned about quarter of an hour later, when she made her way to some secluded benches. There were already a few people there, two first year Gryffindors, an older Ravenclaw and another Ravenclaw who looked to be about her age. Ivy sat down on an unoccupied bench and brought out her Astronomy textbook, sighing. If only they didn't have any exams.
