Dana jogged out of the castle with a book in her hand. It was an awesome day for once and Dana had decided to take a break form studying. Jogging down towards the lake Dana rounded it a bit before reaching an apple-tree. Holding the book securely with one arm Dana climbed up the tree rather quickly. Settling down on a thick branch that was strong enough to support her weight, Dana leaned against the tree and opened her book with a grin.
Dana was pulled out of her thoughts suddenly by a crack of a branch under someone’s foot. Glancing up curiously Dana smirked seeing who it was. Ed and he obviously didn’t seem to notice Dana. Instead he seemed to be walking straight towards where the ground had caved in – one could hurt himself rather badly there. “Ed!” Dana shouted to warn the guy and rolled her eyes when the guy seemingly didn’t hear. Pulling a small and still green apple from a branch Dana aimed and sent the apple flying towards Ed’s head. Watching with a satisfied smirk as it made contact with the back of Ed’s head, Dana threw one more apple in her hand as she shouted this time, as Ed couldn’t possibly not notice her anymore: “Don’t you know it’s dangerous to not answer when a pretty girl is calling you?”
Dana grinned and moved herself to sit more comfortably, letting her legs tangle down the branch she was sitting on and noticed absent-mindedly that she had scratched her leg, as she was only wearing shorts and tennis-shoes. “Actually I just wanted to warn you that the ground is a bit caved in there. Don’t break a leg, as it’s a bit far to haul you to the Hospital Wing right now. The apple was just to get your attention,” Dana explained with a grin before letting out a chuckle, “Looks like I’m throwing something at you every time we meet, doesn’t it?”
Ed was walked out into the courtyard. For once he wasn’t carrying even a single book, which was extremely rare. He walked hands in his pocket humming quietly to himself. His eyes were open but yet unseeing. He hardly noticed as he cracked a branch under his feet. His eyes drifted up to the sky, still not really seeing anything. Did someone just call his name? Nah, just hearing things. He continued on his little walk. Finally a particular cloud caught his eye and without slowing his walk he began to form the cloud into some kind of image. Suddenly though he found his vision focused clearly on the ground. Something had struck him in the back of the head and forced him out of his little day dream.
He turned around and noticed Dana, bouncing a apple in her hand. Ed lowered his eyes to the ground and noticed a apple sitting there. He bent down and picked up the apple and smiled over at Dana. “Sorry about that. I didn’t hear you calling me” She mentioned a cave in ground and he turned around and looked down and noticed the cave in. He was heading right for it and a few more steps would have sent him straight into it. He turned back to Dana and walked over to her. Looking up at her on the branch. Her bare knees were nearly level with his face. He held the apple up. “Yea, but luckily a apple is a lot less messier and a lot more comfortable than a bucket of water. So, what brings you out this fine day and into a tree?”
Staring up at the sky, humming a little tune, in a world of her own Lenora lay in the grass of Hogwarts grounds. She was near a small clump of trees by the lake that were not part of the Forbidden Forrest and so she was shaded slightly but could still feel the warmth of the sun heating her skin. “My only love sprung from my only hate. Too early seen unknown and known too late. Prodigious birth of love it is to me that I must love a loathed enemy.” She quoted silently to herself as the new leaves made shivering shadows on the ground. It had been a rather relaxing day thus far consisting of some solo ballet practice followed by reading through he lines and finally coming to this lovely little lye down in the sun.
Soon enough her peace was disturbed by the shadows swaying in a quite unnatural way. She was planning on getting up to investigate soon enough when she found she didn’t have to; the cause for the disturbance made itself plain. A familiar female voice called out to someone named Ed from up in a nearby tree. They seemed to be having a casual chat and so Lenora had no qualms with joining.
Walking closer Lenora pulled herself up onto a branch in the tree beside Dana’s and sort of type rope walked over to the pair and plopped down on the branch near them. “Hey all. I'm Lenora.” She said extending her hand to the boy she assumed was Ed. “Lovely day is it not? I love Saturday; my favorite day of the week did you know?” she babbled before pulling an apple from the tree and whipping it off on her shirt. Taking a large bite she looked at them and realized they may think she’s crazy considering the apple hadn’t been washed. “God made dirt, and dirt don’t hurt.” She said simply with a grin before taking another bite.

Dana grinned as Ed walked over and grinned down at the guy noticing that she had scratched her knee while climbed on the tree. “Well, sorry, but I could find an bucket of water that quickly. I’ll be sure to use water the ext time,” Dana said poking her tongue towards Ed for a moment before raising the book she had been reading, “Tom Sawyer brings me out here today. It’s a muggle book for children but I love it. And I get some fresh air while reading here on tree without unwanted company. Who will be coming to look for me from an apple-tree?”
Dana noticed Lenora coming closer – the fourth year Gryffindor seemed a bit loony from time to time. But then again – Dana had to share a dormitory with Lovegood. But Lenora was nice – Dana had enjoyed the conversations they had had previously. “Hey, Lenora. Saturday’s are my favorites as well. No classes and the next day is free as well. What day could be better?” Dana asked with a grin as Lenora climbed the tree and sat on a branch as well. As Lenora bit into an apple Dana grimaced. Not as much for not washing the apple. “Isn’t it a bit raw yet? I tried one but the apples are way to sour for my taste yet,” Dana asked curiously – the apples hadn’t had time to catch any sun or ripe – it was only April after all!

Ed smiled and looked at her book. Tom Sawyer, Ed had read a couple of books that told of the adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. "Ah, good old Tom Sawyer. Which book is it? Ive read a bit of Mark Twains work myself." Ed saw movement and noticed a fourth year Gryffindor approach. She climbed into the tree and made her way over to them.
Ed took the hand that was offered him and gently shook it. The girl than began to babble a little about saturday being her favorite day. "Is that so? Saturday is a good day, nice and quiet."

Lenora continued to eat the apple as Dana and Ed spoke about the lovely day of Saturday. Dana then inquired about whether or not the apple was yet edible due to the fact it hadn’t really had time to ripen. She smiled at the other girl and took another big bite. When she had finished chewing she smiled again, “Meh, I’m not too choosey. Tastes fine to me; though I have always been told I will eat anything that’s put in front of my face.”
She then hopped down from the branch and without a word of explanation made a beeline to the nearest trashcan. She tossed out the core with flourish and sprinted back to the pair. Without making a formal stop she jumped up and allowed herself to fall to the ground with a rather large grin. He crossed her legs for a moment before laying back to survey the sky once more. “Just beautiful” she muttered to herself, in her own world once more.
