Jack strolled over the lawn of Hogwarts, wondering what to do. He was bored at the moment, but the good weather lifted his spirits a little. Jack hadn't gotton lots of sleep, so he didn't feel like doing much. He walked over to the lake, which looked very inviting. It took him a while to reach the lake, he was dragging his feet along the grass. Once there, he thought about diving in, clothes and all, but then he thought better of it and decided to just take his shoes of and put his feet in the water.
It felt so good, the water cool and the sun beating on his face. Jack closed his eyes and layed down in the green grass, his feet still in the water.

Headache. Mack searched through her drawers. Looking for aspirin. She found a bottle. Cracked it open and went outside. The sun bright to her eyes. She hadn't thrown up, yet. Which was really good. BUt, the sun was making her dizzy and she knew it was coming soon. She sighed and made her way down to the lake. Seeing a lone figure there.
She continued to walk, and the blurryness sort of got better and she could make out who it was. Jack. The guy she had stopped in the hallways. The guy who had seen her get drunk. Hah! Mack walked over to him and sat down, groaning a little from the sharp pain that ensued, "Blasted Fire Whiskey. Taste good. But hurt like hell the next morning." She mumbled, her words still slurring. She looked at him, closing one eye so she could see him as straight as possible, "What you doing?" She asked in a quizitive voice.

Jack had his eyes closed when he heard someone walk up beside. He opened his eyes, only to be blinded by the sun. He sat up, shading his eyes with his hand and found Mackenzie, standing there, looking sick. Jack had had a bad experience watching Mack get drunk. Actually, it was a learning experience. Jack learned never to let Mack drink firewhiskey. He grinned at the thought, and then looked up at Mackenzie once more. He laughed at the comment about the fire whiskey.
"I'm sure you've been through hell before." Jack said quietly. He didn't really mean it, it's just he had heard that Mack had many troublesome problems with her family and other things too.
"I'm just relaxing here; nice day." He told her. She didn't look to good; Jack didn't want her to colapse or anything. "Care to join me? You look like you need to sit down."

Mack sat down beside him, dizzyness still in sight. She sighed and managed a small laugh, "Hell comes in many forms." She looked at the lake. Her eyebrows narrowing and looked at the lake. Wondering what in the world would happen if she just happened to stumble in it. She tilted her head at it and shrugged that off.
"Nice day? The sun is blinding! How can it be nice if I can't see two inches in front of me?!" Mack snarled. She crossed her arms and closed her eyes to the blinding light.

Kris twisted through the small opening on the lake-bottom and then glanced at his silvery wrist-watch that luckily was water-proof. Gillyweed was an useful thing and Kris could hold his breath for a rather long time, but it wouldn’t help him if he was in the bottom of the lake when the effect of Gillyweed would wear off. He had about 3 more minutes, so Kris pushed himself off and swam towards the surface of the lake with long and powerful strokes. Feeling the effect of Gillyweed wearing off Kris held his breath and broke the water-surface a couple of seconds after that, taking a breath of air before floating on the water for a moment.
Turning lazily Kris started swimming towards the shore, where he had left his cloths earlier. Climbing to the shore without any problems Kris’s eyes swept over the two younger Slytherins there, as she dried himself with a quick spell. Eyeing the girl with distaste – Kris had had his fair share of hang-over – and upon hearing her words, Kris stepped closer, calmly pulling her dark-green silk-blouse on. “If you can’t take the outcome, you shouldn’t drink grown-ups drinks,” Kris told her calmly, placing on hand behind her neck, the other onto her back and throwing her into the lake with a nice arc. Waiting for the girl to appear on the surface of the lake once again, Kris started to button his shirt calmly.

The water was cold, but it felt good. She stayed under for awhile, letting the darkness wash over her. Maybe she would die. Right there. But something told her to break the surface. And she did. The sun blinding her again. She breathed in the air and looked at who had spoken so rudely to her and thrown her in. Her blue eyes pierced an older Slytherin. She swam back to the shore and stepped out of the water. Her robes sopping wet, and her make up running down her face. Her blonde hair was extremely pale now and she knew she was going to catch a cold. All forms of dizzyness were gone.
"Excuse you! What the hell do you think you're doing? Just, throwing me into the lake?!" Mack asked in a shrill voice. She wringed out her robe, or the parts she could, and looked back at the older one. Her anger clearly visible in her eyes. Who was this?! Someone who just ups and throws people into the lake?! Mack could have passed out! And he did this because she's 14 and had a hard day so resulted to fire whiskey?! She didn't even know who he was!
Mack wringed her hair out next and when she was finished she crossed her arms and looked at him, her eyes softening a little, "Nice force of the throw, though. Have to give you points for that. You still could have warned me before proceeding." She snapped lightly.

Jack lept up as an older student threw Mack into the lake. It was very unsporting to do so, since Mack was having a hang-over. Slytherins were supposed to have pride, but how could you explain throwing someone in that wasn't even able to defend themselves.
'What the hell? What do you think you're doing?" Jack asked the boy quite loudly, his anger showing in his face. "She wasn't even aware of you! Where is you self-pride?!" He said rather nastily to the boy. Slytherin or no, this older one had just done a very rude thing. Maybe even more than rude.
To Jack's great relief, Mack came up to the surface, alive and well. Angry, but at least she was alive. He listened to what Mack said to the older boy. She sounded very fustrated, but she had to give him a remark. Jack still didn't like what the boy had done. Jack was strong on having pride in oneself, and this boy had just thought it funny to throw in a unsespecting girl who couldn't defend herself.
"Was that pleasurable to you? Would you have thought it funny if she had passed out while in the lake?" He snapped harshly at the boy. He felt like he was a teacher, and he hated when people did this to him, but still, he felt the need to tell this older boy what Jack thought.

Kris kept a mental count of seconds in his head. If the girl wasn’t out form the water again in 20 seconds, he would have to get her himself. Couldn’t really let the girl drown, even though she most certainly deserved the toss. “I did give you a fair warning with my words,” Kris stated calmly to both of the people as he shrugged the sleeves of his silk-blouse straight and started to button the cuffs, “And you deserved it. A Slytherin should no how much alcohol she – or he – can carry and act by it. Or at least stay out of sight or use some glamour charms.”
Kris sneered at the wet girl: “You look like hell, sweetheart. Besides the water wasn’t that cold. And are you a witch or not – drying yourself shouldn’t be a problem. It probably got rid of the dizziness as an extra bonus.”
His eyes that were smirking as the girl approved the force of his throw - it had to be, if Kris wanted to get his black belt in summer - Kris eyed the boy: “And yes, I did find it pleasurable. And she didn’t pass out, did she?” Kris didn’t bother to mention that he would have brought the girl out – whoever she was – if she had actually passed out. Eyeing the girl, Kris didn’t really feel any pity, but this wasn’t the place where to resolve such thing, so he pulled out his black sun-glasses and threw them to the girl, knowing they would block the sun or at least make it tolerable. Hang-overs were horrid as Kris knew from personal experience.

Jack listened as the older boy talked to them. He was more like half listening; he wasn't really interested in what he was saying, until he started talking to him. Jack just decided to let the matter go; the boy was right, Mack was fine; no reason to argue.
He watched as the boy threw his sunglasses to Mack. It would probably help her a lot, since she didn't seem to keen on the sun. Jack, however, liked it, the feeling of it burning on his face. Jack was really tan, so he was use to being in the sun. He eyed the water wearily; he himself wanted to take a quick swim. He looked at the boy, and then at Mack, wondering what to do. He decided he would just jump in the lake; it would feel good, and it might brighten his mood.
Jack looked at the boy, nodded towards the lake and then jumped in. The water felt so good, he just wanted to stay under there. Jack was a great swimer, so he could go into the deep part of the lake without getting scared. He could stay above water easily. Jack swam towards the surface, feeling the heat from the sun on his face and the cool water on his neck and below, felt wonderful. He floated above the water, a few feet away from Mackenzie and the boy.
"This feels really good!" He called to them. He forgot all about being angry; upset. He just relaxed.

Mack smirked and rolled her eyes, "Oh yes, 'If you can't take the outcome, you shouldn't drink grown-ups drinks' that was a fair enough warning before launching me into the lake. I'm sorry I hadn't brushed up on my idiotiscm before coming out here." She told him in a sarcastic voice. Mack hated how her voice sounded but she kept it that way.
"I am well aware of the alcohol I can hold, I just don't totally agree with my body. when I want more I get more. I don't listen to myself. And I am not going to hide away like a frightened child, so staying out of sight was positively out of the question." Mack responded dryly, "and don't call me sweetheart. I'm anything but sweet."
She then shivered, and realised that she was a witch. She took out her wand and muttered something. Instantly she was dry, and probably looked better than she had in days. Mack sighed in slight happiness and looked back at the two boys before crossing her arms firmly over her chest. Soon sunglasses were thrown at her general direction, her reflexes were sharp and she caught them before placing them on over her eyes. Everything turned a darker color and she could see much better. Though, she would never admit it or say thank you for them.
Then Jack was in the lake. Mack raised her eyebrow, and tilted her head at the boy. She rolled her eyes and laughed lightly, "Yeah! I bet it does! Unless you're thrown into it without a precise warning!" She called out to him, sending a quick glare at the older Slytherin.

Kris arched an eye-brow as the third year boy jumped into the lake. Kris could understand the wish to swim – he himself had just spent an hour swimming in the lake with the aid of Gillyweed. But why ruin clothes? There wasn’t a decent enough tailor in Hogsmeade to fit Kris’s wishes. However it was the guys choice, so Kris swallowed the comment raising onto his tongue and crossing his arms his chest leaned a shoulder onto the tree, even though he still kept his guard up. The girl might try to get some revenge.
“You should be sorry, but I most certainly aren’t for throwing you into the lake, “Kris answered nonchalantly, eyeing his sun-glasses that the girl had chosen to wear. They were complete black and didn’t even let one’s eyes shine through the dark glasses. They fit Kris perfectly, but on this girl with all her blond hair and pale skin it was a bit sharp contrast. Not having expected a thank you, Kris smirked with amusement, knowing the glasses had helped: “And no worries about returning them. I have other pairs. And I know – I’m an angel for giving them.”
Eyeing the sky innocently Kris added as if an ironical after-thought: “A fallen angel, but an angel none the less.”
Watching the two third years with a slight smirk hovering at one of his lip-corners, Kris decided to stick around for a moment. They might prove to be some entertainment. Besides the weather was much too good to get back into the castle.
