Caiest walked outside after Potions. She sure was glad that class was over if she had to stay in that stuffy dungeon much longer she would've screamed. Luckily the school year was ending soon and then it would be a whole summer before she'd have to go back to that dreaded class. It wasn't that she hated potions. She was actually pretty good at that it was just that the teacher was mean and the room was way to small for her liking. So she was all to happy to go outside and wait for Cassandra and Dana to meet her like she'd asked.
Unlike most students Caiest was dreading the end of the school year. While having the summer to herself wasn't such a bad thing leaving for home meant being alone in that huge mansion all summer with no one to talk to. So as a spur of the moment type of thing Caiest had owled both Dana and Cassandra and asked them to meet her on the grounds after classes. She had decided to invite both of them over during the summer and since she had a big enough house she was going to throw a party and they could invite as many people as they'd like. She just hoped that they'd accept the invitation.

Transfiguration was like it always was – all work for the whole class that needed concentration. Dana had managed more or less alright today, so she just sighed and pushed it back in her mind. Caiest had sent her an owl earlier to meet her by the lake-side after classes so that was where Dana headed to now, pushing the book-bag on her shoulder so it was more comfortable. Carry-all charms really were fantastical – without those Dana’s bag would be ripping and extremely heavy to carry. Dana wondered why more people didn’t use it as she watched to third years struggle past her with their heavy bags.
Finally being able to move forward Dana exited the Hogwarts castle and made her way towards the lake-shore choosing her path carefully. These were new shoes and Dana didn’t want to get stuck in the grass. Finally reaching the lake-shore Dana looked up and smiled seeing Caiest standing rather near by. Changing her direction Dana walked closer and greeted Caiest with a warm smile: “Hey, long time no see. How have you been?” Pulling off the her Ravenclaw sweater, Dana folded it neatly and placed it over her bag, leaving herself into a T-shirt and skirt as she dropped her bag on the ground and stretched. Stretching felt good after the class.

Cass ran out of charms like a dog was chasing her. She had to get out of that room. You know how it is, you've been sitting in class all day and you just have to escape. That was about the same feeling Cass had at that time. Finally being able to stand up was such a relief for her, she just couldn't express it in words. Looking at her note from herself to remind herself to meet Caiest, she wondered what she needed. She thought Caiest knew she didn't have alot of time tonight because of her meeting with McGonogall, but she would take the time to see her.
Undoing her tie a little, she headed towards the grounds. Deep in thought about her transfiguration lesson, she knocked into the shoulder of a Slytherin. Apologizing while the Slytherin gave her a dirty sneer, she looked up to see both Dana and Caiest. Smiling wide, she waived at both of them. " Hey guys! What's up? I can't belive how far behind I am in potions!"

Caiest smiled slightly as she heard Dana greet her. "Hey how are you?" She asked watching as Dana stretched. Caiest had no idea how one person could be flexible. Dana had to be one of the most flexible people Caiest knew. As for herself she had to one of the least flexible people. Caiest sat down next to Dana and waited for Cassandra. Luckily she didn't have long to wait for Cassandra came rushing over only moments later greeting them before informing them on how far behind she was in potions. "I'm sorry you're behind in Potions." Caiest said she would've offered to help her in the subject since she was pretty good at it but wasn't sure Cassandra would take the offer.
Caiest stood up and began to pace. She was nervous. Like really nervous. She didn't have experience in asking people to visit her over the summer it just wasn't something she was good at. Caiest took a deep breath and plunged ahead. "Well I supposed you're wondering why I asked you guys to meet me here. The reason is because the school year is ending soon and that means I have to go back home. Well my house is always empty and really big so I was wondering if you guys would like to visit me during the summer some time? You guys could even invite some of your friends and we could throw a party or something since I've got the space and won't get in trouble." Caiest said twirling a piece of her hair. Something she did when she was really nervous.

Lowering herself and taking hold of her ankles with her hands Dana bowed herself as low as her body physically could go and stayed in that position as she slowly counted to 13. Releasing a breath of air Dana straightened herself again and flipped some strands of hair over her shoulders as she sat herself on the ground and smiled to Cass who approached them.
Caiests question however did surprise Dana. Well, Dana knew Caiest was somewhat of a loner, but it was still surprising. Grinning mischievously Dana reached out and grabbed hold of Caiest’s ankle as she was pacing pass her, in order to try and pull the girl down on the grass with them: “And that was why you were so nervous? Hey, you could have sent me an owl I would have been happy to be over in matter of days. I’d love to stay over the coming summer. And a party sounds good as well – not necessary, but it might be fun.” Laying down on the ground Dana squinted her eyes towards the sky as sun was shining into her eyes: “And I do expect you to drop by during summer as well. Cass is coming, so you two can make the flight to France together. Much more fun that way.”
The sun shining in her eyes was a bit annoying so Dana turned over so she was laying on her stomach and leaned on her elbows as she looked at Caiest and Cass with a smile adoring her face: “And actually I didn’t really even wonder why you invited us. I was just happy to see a friend and get out of the castle. But this is great – I will love visiting you, Caiest. For the company, no matter where I’ll stay.”
Cass smiled brightly as Caiest invited her over during the summer. " Of course, I would love too! Oh, but you know my mom, Dana...." She smiled and blushed up at her. She turned back to Caiest. " Well, you know dad died and all. I"m not sure if I can spend much time from home, you know?"" Cass' voice trailed off as she brought up a painful subject. " But, I'm pretty sure the three of us will figure something out!"
Turning to the two girls. " I'm going to have so much to do for McGonogall over the summer. Extra homework plus traveling seems alot for only a few months. By the way, Dana, do you think Kris will help me with some of the stuff over the summer? I might need some help because some of the spells are really complicated."

Caiest stood still when Dana grabbed her ankle. She sat down with her two friends still in a state of shock. She'd asked them and surprisingly Dana accepted. She had been prepared for the worst but surprisingly it had turned out fine. Caiest realized she probably looked like a dork sitting there with shock on her face so she smiled. "Great! That's great! Well I mean it's not great that your dad died Cassandra I'm sorry that happened but I'm sure we could work something out. As for visiting you in France Dana that shouldn't be a problem after all my parents are never home and when they are home I'm in my room so it's not like they'd notice or care that I'd be gone." She said rather excited.

Dana chuckled as Caiest started ranting excitedly, but didn’t really mind. “Great, I pretty much have my plans for summer set then. Just give me a holler, when I’m welcomed to come over. And the same, when you are coming to France. You could just show up as well, but in that case I might not be at home – I am going to stay sometime in Italy with Kris during the summer just as every year.”
Listening to Cass’ answer, Dana didn’t react. Sure, she herself had most certainly gotten off from the wrong foot from Cass’ mom, but as a general rule Dana never spoke of the parents of others. Cass would have to see what she could do about coming herself. “Kris help you? Mmm, not completely sure to tell you the truth. He is a Slytherin for a reason besides I’m not sure how fond of the idea of accepting you to his mansion he would be,” Dana answered slowly with a frown as she thought about it, “Besides you have to ask that from him.” Well, actually Kris wouldn’t most probably say no to Dana, but Dana didn’t want to force Kris to do something he really didn’t want to do either. Besides, if Kris didn’t want to do it, then he most certainly would have found a loop-hole and gotten out from actually helping Cass.
Shrugging the though off Dana smiled enjoying the sensation of sun on her face, as she lazed on the grass. “I really do love spring and summer,” Dana sighed contently as she closed her eyes and tilted her face so sun would shine directly onto it.
