Cass slipped on her blue jeans and a pink tank top. She slipped on her clogs and headed out the door. She was meeting Robert tonight. After there trip to Hogsmeade, they had made plans to shoot of the fireworks she had bought at Zonko's. She had sent him an owl earlier in the day to meet her near the lake at 8:00 p.m. Her clogs thunked against the stone fllor as she walked toward the front doors. The little canvas bag that she carried held her wand and many, many fireworks. It also contained a very large blanket for her to sit on. She wasn't worried about a lighter. I mean, she was a witch for goodness sakes. She could definetly make her own fire.
Finally arriving at the lake, she laid the the blanket out on the grass. She looked up to see the giant squid lazily slap the water. " What a wonderful night."
It was completely clear this night. A great night to watch fireworks. She slowly set a dragon rider firecracker in the ground. She took her wand and set the wick on fire. It took a few moments, but soon the papered explosive took off into the air and exploded to reveal a dragon. " Beautiful." She said to herself.

Robert walked up to another dorm and knocked on the door. "Caiest, It's Robert. We're about to shoot off the fireworks that we talked about earlier." Robert tapped his foot impatiently. He was already a few minutes late. There was a soft explosion from outside. Robert left the door for a few seconds and walked off to the nearest window. He couldn't see where Cassandra was, but he did see a scarlet dragon fy around in the sky. Sparks followed it's tail. Then the door opened. It was Caiest.

Caiest heard a knock on her dormroom door then a voice. It was Robert coming to get her for the fireworks they were going to set off. She closed her book rather irritated with herself. She had completely forgotten that they were supposed to do that tonight so she had gotten a book and was going to barricade herself in her room for the rest of the day. Looks like her plans had changed. Sighing she put a bookmark in her book and got up. As she was walking past the window in her dorm she heard a noise and saw a firecracker zoom by. Looks like Cassandra had started without them.
Grabbing her cloack Caiest opened the door and walked out. Robert was still waiting for her which surprised her. She was sure he would've just gone on without her. "Let's get this over with." She said brushing past him.

Robert and Caiest walked down the stairs towards the exit doors. Once out side Robert stopped for a second to take a breath of freh air. The green grass was slightly covered with droplets of dew. It really was a perfect night and they were only a few minutes late.
"Hey Cass!" Robert called to her. "Can I shoot the next one?" Robert had forgotten which fireworks they'd bought. I wonder if Caiest is always this gloomy... Robert thought to himself. But it didn't matter. Robert was determined to have a good time.

She smiled at the new arrivals "Of course you can Robert." She handed the bag over to him to let him choose his poison. She noticed Caiest behind him.
She walked up to her and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. " Are you okay? You look like something is bothering you. It isn't something with Sennie, is it?" A look of concern crossed the young Gryffindor's face.

"First you go to the library, after curfew, and sneak into the restricted section. Now, fireworks? Dixie, what is happening to you?" Mack asked, following her sister close at her heels as she walked around gathering things for the outting tonight. Dix tilted her head and bit the inside of her cheek as if she was thinking about not going. Mack drew in a deep even breath, hoping Dix would reconsider and waited for the words. Dix opened her mouth and shook her head, "I'm still going." She said in an even tone. Mack sighed in exasperation and left the Dorm room. Dix just shrugged and grabbed her dark green cloak. She made her way out of the castle.
As she stepped outside, a firework was already set off. Dix smirked at the sight of it and made her way towards the direction it had come from. Dixie pulled her hood up on over her redish brown hair and appeared next to a girl from Ravenclaw, "Do you know how much trouble you could get in if you get caught?" She asked, that sly smile on her lips and holding a mirthy gleam in her eyes.

Caiest smiled at Cassandra as she put a comforting hand on her shoulder and asked what was wrong. Then asked if it had to do with Sennie. If only she knew. Caiest thought smiling bitterly to herself. She wanted to tell Cassandra as she was one of the very few friends she possessed but not here with all these other people around. "I'll tell you later." She told Cassandra and watched as Robert picked out another firework to shoot off. She wondered vaguely how she'd managed to get into this. She sighed oh well what mattered now was that she was here now.
After a little bit another girl appeared next to her. The girl asked her if she knew how much trouble they'd all be in if they got caught. "Quite a bit so lets try not to get caught."

Dix smiled, "Fine by me. Mind if I join?" She asked with a tilt of her head. Dixie wasn't known to scoialize outside of the Slytherin house, and she knew if anyone saw her that she'd get shunned or something by her friends and family. But, right now she could care so much less and wanted to have at least a little bit of fun. Something she hadn't had in the longest time.
Before she recieved an answer, Dixie took a seat on the ground and looked up at the people, "For those of you who don't know me, I'm Dix Holden." She introduced herself with a sweet smile.

Cass smiled at the new arrival. " Your more than welcom to join us. I'm Cass by the way. This is Robert and Caiest." She introduced the group. She turned her head as the bright red rocket exploded in the sky.
She smiled at the girl. " Your Mack's sister right? I've Mack a few times." She got up and chose a rocket out of the bag. " Caiest, want to set one?" She offered the rocket she had chosen to her. " Oh, by the way, how is Sennie?"

Dixie smiled, "No. Mack's my sister." She answered the girl who introduced herself as Cass. Dixie wasn't fond of Mack, and Mack wasn't fond of Dix. They never got along and they always argued. They were opposites. Dix just...didn't see how her sister could be the way she was.
"Sennie?" Dixie asked, her eyes flickering to the other girl who Dix remembered as Caiest, "is that your cat?"

"Yes Sennie is my cat and she's doing fine thanks for asking Cassandra." She said giving Cassandra a look that said just go with it. She got up from where she was sitting and took the offered firework igniting it with her wand. She smiled slightly as the different colors rained down on them.
"I'm not trying to be a kill joy or anything but you know these fireworks are kind of hard to miss we're probably going to get caught." She said going back to where she had sat before.

Cass winked at Caiest so she knew she got her drift. " Yes, its a bit obvious, but who cares? The anxiousness of getting caught if half the fun."
She looked at the Slytherin as she began to take a sparkler out of the bag. " Why? Are you afraid?" She said this very determinatively, just daring her for the challenge.
She lit the sparkler and let it light up the sky. " They are really quite beautiful. Back home, its illegal to do it within the city limits. I just like to do it when I get the chance."

"You know, the disilusionment charm isn't a hard as at looks. I use it loads, but don't tell anyone that." Robert had learned it a long time ago. He'd already sneeked out twice at midnight and didn't get caught. "These fireworks are totally wicked. See, I used to live in the country, so we could set off fireworks whenver we wanted. Though none of them are quite like these." Robert thought back to last years trip to Diagon Alley. "There was a smalll joke shop with a awesome fireworks pack. It was owned by those two Weasley twins that used to go here. Almost bought something to..." Robert looked around. "Do you really think we'll get caught?" It would be worth it anyway, he thought to himself.

"No. We won't get caught. If someone sees the fireworks they'll assume, Dumbledore is throwing his own personal party somewhere on the grounds," Dix replied with sarcasm, "Yes, we will get caught." She added almost immediately, in her natural voice. She took a sparkler from Cass and lit it up, watching the flames dance.
"Oh, and to answer your question,"She turned to look at the girl, "I'm not afraid." Dix turned back to the sparkler and spelled her name with it. The sparks staying in air for a bit.
