It was a early saturday morning. Cedric had just stepped out of bed when he walked over to his clock and looked at it. "5:56" Cedric said shaking his head. Cedric hadn't been getting alot of sleep lately he had alot on his mind. Walking over to Fuego Cedric grabbed some herbs and put them in the Phoenix's bowl. "You just keep growing faster and faster." Cedric said running his finger on the bright oragne beak of the bird. Cedric went to his trunk and pulled out some clothes. Putting them on he then pulled a black cloak on and walked towards the door. Looking back at the room he shook his head again and walked out.
Walking down the stairs to the common room Cedrics cloak swished behind him. As he looked around he saw no one just as he expected. Cedric walked straight out of the room into the hallway. He knew exactly where he needed to go to get some resources for his new projects. Lately Cedric had alot on his mind and alot of projects in the works. Word had gotten out in Knocturne alley that Cedric had a phoenix so now he had people asking him for tears and even the phoenix itself. Alot of people wanted Cedric to give them the bird and were willing to some up on him with the force of magic. Cedric wasn't scared just had to watch his back.
As he walked down the halls he continued to think about everything. He also had the group he was putting together called the Chosen. He had only got a couple members but had to get everything rolling with them to. And of course there was his school work he had to do. Now he was working on making a broom. He had alot to do and was juggling the projects. Cedric had spent many sleepless nights working on all of this.
Cedric walked into the Great hall and out of the front doors. Walking quickly to the dark forest Cedric Entered and started looking around for a nice large branch he could use to make the broom. After a couple of looks around he heard someone coming.

Lydia left the Common Room ina somewhat fould mood, but that wasn't anything different for her. Her moods were always foul. After shoving several 1st years out of the way, she entered the courtyard. It was a lovely day, but that didn't even change her attitude. She stalked to the Forbidden Forest still in a terrible mood.
Walking around the forest, she approached a fellow Slytherin and member of the Chosen, Cedric. " Cedric, how are you this fine day?" She said this rather dryly, but no angrily.
" Are you enjoying the scenery or are you out here for another purpose?"

Kori had been dancing, as always. Dance was important to her, it was her escape from the world. Ravenclaws had books, Gryffindors had...well-whatever, and Hufflepuffs had whatever they had. Kori had dance. If someone couldn't except that, poor them. Kori pitied them. Her feet worked magics as she danced across the ground, sweeping past, lifting and moving swiftly and gracefully. Poetry in a step. Then it came to that step and she couldn't get it. Her ankle snapped but, not as badly as the last time she did this move. So she just brushed it aside and called it quits for the night. As she made her way back to the common room, she saw someone. So she hid in the corners, her breathing quieted. Lots of practice had her breathing softly not to be caught.
The boy walked by, and curiousity overwhelmed her. Kori raised an eyebrow and quickly chnaged her shoes to her jazz ones. They were more quiet then her toe shoes. She followed this boy, who she recognized as someone in her year and house. Kori pulled her hair up into a loose pony tail. Letting some curls frame her face. She smiled to herself and continued to follow him. He walked to the forbidden forest. Her feet were still quiet too. He was soon joined by someone else, and Kori couldn't stand to be quiet any longer, "I was wondering the same thing..."

Cedric turned and saw Lydia from the Chosen. "Hey Lydia." Cedric said looking at her. Then Cedric heard another person speak up. "I was wondering when you were going to reveal yourself Kori." Cedric said smirking. "If your going to follow me don't follow me so close." Cedric couldn't help but laugh. Still looking around the woods Cedric said to the both of them "Actually I am looking for a good piece of wood. Im working on a project and need a good thick big peice of wood." Cedric ducked under a vine as he wlaked.
"Now the true question is why are you two out here? I apperently have an excuse but you two don't really have one." Cedric said sitting on a stump and looking at them. Looking into Kori's eyes Cedric said "You came out here just to see what I was doing. What about you Lydia?" Cedric said laughing. He loved doing that to people.

Lydia smiled a rare smile. " Me? I was actually out for some fresh air. Scouting some new places to paint. Unfortunately, there is not much to paint. I was hoping to find some interesting animals to paint." She smiled at the two of them.
" What are you searching for wood for? Are you creating something?"

Kori raised an eyebrow, "Maybe I wanted you to notice me, ever think of that?" She asked, a small still smile on her lips. She bent down and undid her jazz shoes, and changed them to boots. They looked good with her dance outfit. Kori smiled even more, and stood up again. She looked at Cedric, and tilted her head to the right.
"Ah, curiousity killed the Kori. But, that's not the only reason. I was bored. You were the nearest remotely exciting thing." Kori replied to his remark about wanting to know what he was doing being the reason why she had folllowed him. She leaned up against the nearest tree and listened on to the conversation.

Cedric sat on his stump listening to their responses. "Yes Yes, wanted to be noticed. Maybe thats what you wanted." Cedric said smirking. Standing up Cedric began looking for wood again. "Yes Actually I am creating something Lydia." Cedric said picking up a long branch, examining it, and then with a disgusted look on his face throwing it to the ground. "I have decided to try my hand at creating my own broom. This of course will be my first try so it might not turn out perfect but it's worth a try." Cedric said continually looking.
Cedric stopped looking around and then looked back at the two girls. "So you dance." he said to Kori. "I didn't know that. I ussually know everything." Turning his eyes to Lydia he said "I knew you painted but we are in an Dark magical forest and you can't find anything to paint? Maybe you should look harder."

"A broom, huh?" Kori asked, before even considering answering his question. She lifted her eyes to look at the branches above her head. There were branches, good branches, thick branches. Kori bit her lip, reached her arms above her head, and climbed up the tree. She continued to climb until she reached a certain branch. Then she draped one leg over one side and the other over the other side, and laid on it, "How 'bout this one? Sturdy, thick, hey perfect right?" Kori looked down at them with a smile on her lips.
"Yep, I dance. Damn good at it too. Not surprised you didn't know, not many people do. And you-," Kori tilted her head to Lydia, "You draw? I know someone who draws. She doesn't go here anymore, what's your speciality? Landscapes, portraits, or just random shapes on a piece of canvas?" Kori knew a lot about art not more than some people, but enough to have some casual conversation with someone.
