I am the mask you wear, it's me they hear... Jordan stared at the blank canvas in front of her, her mind blank. The only thing that was running through her mind was Tuck and Katie. Tuck and Katie. TUCK AND KATIE! She kicked the bucket of paint that was beside her easel, the blue pain splattering on the floor. Curse he rmother, curse her father, curse Spain, curse Ireland, curse Tuck, curse Katie; Curse everyone who thought she was a delicate doll! She wasn't delicate! She didn't break down at the problems she had been through, she didn't scream out of sadness, she didn't flaunt her depression...she was just, herself. Tuck and Katie thought differently, she wasn't generally happy, so she couldn't be happy at all. Jordan wasn't completely self-centered, she knew that others had problems as well, and there were few she cared about; but, she didn't like to show her life story and problems to everyone. That was on a very rare occasion. Her close friends knew of her past and her thoughts, and then her friends knew only of her side that let others see that she was "genuinly happy." So few saw the real Jordan these days, so few wanted to look beyond the mask that was plastered onto Jordan's frail face. Ivy was there for her, Ivy controlled Jordan's anger through management. Amelia didn't listen all the time, she was just there for Jordan to talk to, Jordan didn't need to talk. Liam still didn't know about what happened. Kiyla, Jordan hadn't seen her in awhile. Dillion was oblivious to anything and everything outside his happy world, and everyone else didn't understand. Pity comes to late, turn around and face your fate... Jordan shut her eyes, counted to ten and started to clean up the mess she had made. When she was finished, she slipped her jacket on and made her way out of the room.
His eyes will find us there, those eyes that burn if he has to kill a thousand men, the Phantom of the Opera will kill and kill again... The lyrics were stuck in her mind, wanting to get out but, failing in doing so. Every other moment was a different song from POTO, something she was starting to get sick of rather fast. It was the only thing she could relate to at the moment, bieng hidden from the world. When people asked her why she was so angry, so harmful, why she didn't show any compassion, she simply answered, 'the world showed no compassion to me.' Besides the fact that it was really the only thing she could relate to, one of the songs from the musical was her skating song for the Talent Theatre. She had been so helplessly drawn to the Theatre, she had agreed to do it; for Vanessa. But, as she looked back on her routine now, she wasn't so sure she wanted to. She was just getting annoyed by everything lately, by everything; everybody; everywhere. Her attitude was sour lately, and she wanted to spend her time painting or skating; just not to 'All I Ask Of You.' Dang, triple axels, sit spins, spread eagles, walley jumps, loops, salchows, flips, lutzes, layback attitudes, and the ina bauer... Jordan thought as she pushed at the door that lead to the Grounds. It opened steadily, and let the cold air in. She shuddered slightly but, cast it off as she continued to make her way to the Forbidden Forest. Her birthday had been stupid, she hadn't seen her father in over 10 years, and up out of no where he shows up. Expects her to forgive him, and wants to take her out for a birthday dinner. Jordan had, had a lot of time to think about the day Eduardo wanted to be part of her life; and when he showed up at the door, she simply told him she wasn't the Jordan he knew back then and that she didn't want to speak to him ever again. Eduardo had pushed her and entered the Ireland house, disrupting the dinner. It wasn't a pretty party.
When you find that once again, you long to take your heart back and be free, if you ever find a moment, spare a thought for me... The lyrics started from her mind, and escaped from her lips. Filling the air, her voice going extremely high. She had heard the soundtrack plenty of times to be able to hit the correct notes and have the preciseness of the lyrics. She knew exactly when to sing opera and when to just sing. She wasn't as skilled in singing as Vanessa or D.J. was, but she knew how to sing and sing well. She simply wasn't good enough to cut a record and get a deal, she sang when her emotions were too much to bear, and she sang when she needed the song to clear her head. Coming to the opera part, Jordan breathed in deeply, "But please promise me that sometimes you will think...ah ah ahah ah ha, ah ah ahah ah ha, hahaha aha ha, aaaahaahhh, aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh of me!" The scale went higher and higher and Jordan thought her lungs were to burst, but they weren't. She held her ground and continued to sing, finally ending. She saw a few birds flutter from the trees, and she couldn't help but, feel accomplished. Then the recent events fluttered back into her mind, and her anger rose again. Her teeth grinding against each other in temper controll, and her brown eyes flashing red. She felt pity for those who tried to approach her, who tried to speak to her. She didn't want to be in their shoes, when she responded.
