Justin was walking around in the library, looking for a book about all of the great wizars of the past. Professor Binns had told them to do a research paper about them, the minimum of wizards or witches, was ten. He could'nt find a single book, due to the fact that his fellow Gryffindors had been there a little earlier than him. So, deciding that he should just go by what he knew, he left the library without a backwards glance. He thought that he should really get some fresh air, he had after allspent the last fe nights in the common room doing homework, but noiw that it was day and he had a reason to not do any work, he felt that fresh air was what he needed.
He reached the entrance hall in no time and went outside. It was a pretty warm day, probably in the mid sixties. The grounds were'nt all that wet, so he walked over to one of the trees that he usually sat under and laid down. The clouds were'nt around and the sun was out, he grinned and pulled out his wand and wrote his name in the air, then he played with a leaf, making it fly around and hit a moth that had been flying nearby. He then just sat there with his eyes closed, not knowing that someone was walking up.

D.J. had finished her research paper, thank God, and had decided to spend the rest of her day walking around the halls of the castle aimlessly. What a joyous day it was to be, or maybe not. She didn't find any of her friends, so she had resorted to sitting in the common room, alone, staring at the beautiful outside. Finally she couldn't control the urge any longer and she grabbed her shoulderbag and made her way out to the grounds.
She was sifting through her bag when she looked up and saw someone she had met recently, under a tree. She tilted her head, closed her shoulderbag cover, and made her towards him. Her arms crossed firmly over her chest and a smile on her face, "Don't you have a research paper to be doing?' She asked him as she finally drew nearer to him. D.J. set her bag down on the ground and sat down next to it. Names rolled over in her mind, Mark, Kristen, Josh, Kyle...Justin! That's it! D.J. smiled again.
"Or could you simply not find any of the books in the library about great wizards of the past, simply because they were all checked out by some other Gryffindor? Some other Gryffindor, like myself?" D.J. stated as she pulled out 5 books from her shoulderbag and handed them to Justin, she then layed down on the ground, her head propped up by her hand.

Justin looked up as he heard a girls voice and he recognized the girl. Thinking for a second he remembered her name and said " Hi there D.J., how's it hanging? Oh yeah I do have that research paper to do, but it can wait for a pretty girl such as yourself." Grinning he sat up against the tree and put his wand back in hi pocket. he watched as she handed him the book, just seconds after speaking and he cocked an eyebrow at her, saying, " Oh yeah now I know why all of them were checked out. Thanks, but I'm gonna wing it." He grinned slightly and said " What brings you out here today?"

"If I didn't know any better, I would say you just hit on me. But, that possibly couldn't be it, now could it?" D.J. replied with a laugh and a slight raise of her left eyebrow. She then shook her head, and sat up, her hand was falling asleep on her anyway. Her green eyes looked at Justin with laughter before she answered again, "And miss this wonderful day, and the chance to spend it with an amazing guy? I think not." She tucked some hair behind her ears and picked the grass, throwing it to the side, then picked some more.
"How 'bout you? Besides, avoiding your paper." D.J. asked him the same question after a silent second. She looked up at him and smiled.

Justin laughed and said " Amazing guy huh, guess that can only mean me." He stood up and stretched his legs and arms out. Then he leaned against the tree, humming a tune that he liked. He heard D.J.'s next question, and said, " Uhh, I'm out here to relax in the peace and quiet. Also, I'mout here to meet pretty girls." flashing a mischievous grin. Pointing his wand at the lake, he created a water ball, just the size of his fist. He brought it over to him, then looked for a target. He saw him, a SLytherin fifth year that had tried to trip him down the stairs. Helet the small water ball fall, he created one that was abot the size of the guy. he levitated it over him, and then he let it fall. He laughed as the guy was completely covered in the murky lake water.
After a few minutes, Jusin stopped laughing and said " Well, how have you been? Any recnt developments i your life?" He did'nt know why he asked, he just did, but then again, he was always one who did'nt think before he talked.

D.J. rolled her eyes while she chewed her gum, but still smiled, "I don't see any pretty girls around here...do you?" She asked him with a tilt of her head. She watched him throw a water ball at a Slytherin, laughing lightly. D.J. wasn't one to pick on Slytherins, nor anyone below her year, but she did like to have a good laugh every now and then. She contemplated his question before shaking her head again.
"Nope, being bored, finishing essays, avoiding professors who have the unbearable liking of taking points away, same ole same ole. Though, I am looking forward to Valentines Day, something I never look forward to, ever. Notice my emphasis on never and ever. I hate V-Day...but, it's an excuse to party, no?" She answered as she took out her wand and muttered a spell that made firelight bugs appear, they began to form images. And D.J. tilted her head at them, trying to figure them out.
