Pyro didnt miss the icy glare or tone of the her voice as she spoke to him. He could immediatly tell she didnt like him. Not that he cared. He felt no love for her either. He sneered slightly as she said something about his name. 'when i get home, I will kill you father...' He thought to himself. he had never grown accustom to his unusual name. he arched an eyebrow
"yes, its Pyro, as in fire."He arched an eyebrow at her. "and I suppose your Cassandra? Just, plain old, Cassandra?"
He looked at her when suddenly snow fell on top of his head. He shook the snow off and looked up at Dana, who was sitting there grinning down at them.
"You do know that means I owe you?"

Cassandra's mouth turned into a half smile as she looked at Pyro.
The sad thing is, I could really start to like this guy, thought Cassandra to herself. Maybe I should give him a chance to redeem himself.
" Yes, just plain old Cassandra," she said it very derteminatively, " But, I will give you the pleasure of calling me Cassie or Cas. Is Pyro a family name? It's very unusual. I kind of like it."
She smiled at him very smuggly. As if she was saying, come on, I dare you to. THis argument is going to be fun, she said to herself.
Cassandra thoughtfully patted out a snowball. " I don't know, Dana. We could get in an awful lot of trouble," she shot a look at Pyro, " unless some of us are too chicken."

Dana rolled her eyes at both Cassandra’s and Pyro’s words. “Nothing plain about the characters behind the names Pyro and Cassandra,” Dana ejected into the conversation and grinned mischievously at Pyro kicking some more snow flying towards him, even though most landed harmlessly on the ground, “And the opportunity to do that was just too great for me to pass out on.”
Dana took in Pyro with a thoughtful expression: “I don’t really know, Cass. I think it would take at least a canary cream from the Weasley twins shop to make him look similar to a chicken. And I don’t really have one right now. So I think we’ll have to work everything out without chickens or any kinds of poultry.”
" Poultry, huh? That gives me an idea. Anybody know where the kitchens are?" Cass looked up at the four with of them with a mischevious smile.

*He narrowed his eyes at cassandra*
"I sure do hope you are not declaring anything about me in that sentance. Because I am far from being a chicken"
*He frowned up at dana just in time to move to the side and dodge some of the snow she had kicked back down at him*
"Well, just remember, you reap what you sow.."
*He thought for a moment as he looked at cassandra*
'No, im not quiete sure where the kitchens are"

Dana laughed at Pyro’s narrowed eyes and turned so that her both feet were dangling off the side of the snow-bank: “Don’t worry, Pyro. You don’t look half that bad, but not good enough to eat either.”
“And I know where the kitchens are. Behind a painting of a fruit bowl – you have to tickle the pear until it turns into a handle. I can show you some time,” Dana added raising a questioning eye-brow towards Cassandra, wondering what she thought up.

" Oh, yes you must," Cassandra's eyes gleamed with anticipation. She had a plan. But, of course, she always had a plan.
She really did like Pyro. That was the problem. She really liked Pyro. Any guy that could come behind her friend and through a snowball at her and get away with it, was fine in her book. She also really liked his name. She wouldn't let him know that though. She really wanted to see how far she could push him without him hating her.
" Isinuating nothing of the sort," she threw back at him, " Some people just don't like to have fun." She threw a mischevious smile back at him.

Aila had been lost in thoght from the moment she saw Pyro until Dana pushed some snow on her. This brought her back and she started shaking it off. When she was done, she continued listening to the conversation, getting hungry when they started talking about food.
"We really should do something together - like Dana said, this is too good an opportunity to pass up, one from every house! Any suggestions?"

" Well, you know there is the usual. Getting back at Snape, going to the kitchens, sending dungbombs at Filch, raiding the kitchens, etc, etc. Of course, I'm for a great game of poultry chasing. I seem to have chickens on the brain now," she said with a tilt in her voice.
" Me and a few others in our house went and let loose the schools chickens one night. It was quite funny watching some of the teachers and Hagrid run'em down. Of course, we got detention, but it was still fun," Cassandra was getting bored with terrorizing Slytherins. Besides, she found Pyro more interesting.

*Pyro nodded up at Dana*
"yea, thats what I heard, somewhere along those lines, only I heard it was a pickle, or something, I dont know"
*He looked back at cassandra, and than it struck it..he was being friendly with a gryffindor. he could understand a Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff, But a Gryffindor? and he was having a good time.*
"Do I seem like the sort to not want to have fun?"
*He looked at the other girl as she finally spoke up*
" Well it looks like she can talk"
*He again looked back at cassandra*
"And what would you have against snape?"

Cass giggled at the remark. " Nothing against the man personally. But, you know thats a past time for Gryffs. Getting back at Snape." She smiled at him. Hoping she hadn't offended him.

*Pyro smirked at her*
"You know what, that is a good idea. Go and bother snape, that way he takes points from your house and than slytherin will win the house cup"

" Are you insinuating that Gryffindor would let the Slytherins win the house cup?!" Cass was flabbergasted.
Then she thought about it. " Yeah, its not like we are doing to well anyway." She smiled thinking about it.

“Nothing is certain about the house-cup yet. Don’t forget that Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw are also in the game,” Dana injected into Cassandra’s and Pyro’s surprisingly friendly banter. “And so we’ll leave professor out of our fun today. Besides I kind of like Snape as well. Well, I don’t like him, but I respect him as a professor,” Dana explained starting to form one more snow-ball in her hands and smirking down at the other two, “Something to stir things up a bit does sound like a marvelous idea though.”

" I really like the idea of going to the kitchens. WE could make it a field trip."
