It was a rather cold day and the winds seem to howling more than ever. Grace sat by the window which was over looking Hogwarts grounds. A cover of pure white snow covered the ground which made it look like a winter land of some sort. Pulling her knees up to her chest she rested her head on the top of her knees and continued to stare outside. Her brown eyes seemed to sparkle while looking at the beautiful snow. Smiling she noticed something brush up against her legs. Turning her head she laughed softly at her cat as she tried to get her attention. Smiling even more she screched Mia behind the ears and gave her a last pat and stood up from where she was siting.
Being very bored at the moment she looked down at what she was wearing. It was still early in the morning and Grace had been sitting and looked out the window since 5:00am. She couldn’t sleep due to a horrible night mare that had always happen lately. She really didn’t won’t to talk about it her dream and just kept it to herself for a long time. Sighing she took out a nice pair of jeans and a warm turtle neck. One thing that Grace loved about the weekends was that you could wear anything you won’t. Smiling she pulled on the jeans and turtle neck along with her long black jacket. Grabbing her light blue sparkly shoulder bag she swung it around her shoulder and walked out of the girl’s dorms and down the flights of stairs to the great hall.
Upon entering the great hall she took a seat at the Ravenclaw table she looked all around her at the food. Her mouth began to water she picked up her plate and started to pile food on it. Smiling she took two pieces of French toast and an apple and set it down on her plate. Her mouth began to water even more and she purred syrup on her French toast. Licking her lips she picked up her fork and started to dig in. Chewing she looked all around her. Barley any Ravens were around and she sighed. Tucking her brown hair behind her ears she continued to her delicious French toast. Taking a sip of her goblet she had finished and crossed her legs. Grace was rather bored now so she pulled out a magazine and started to look at the pretty designs.
Growing up Grace was always at her mother store and learning how to put fabrics together and make great dresses. Her younger sister, Summer Willows, was the designer on the house. Their mother had asked the two girls if they would take over the business but they had there own plans. As far as Grace knew it she wonted to work in the ministry and her sister wonted to work in the magical creature’s part. Sighing Grace took the last sip of her pumpkin juice and pulled on her head phones. Turning up the CD player as loud as it could go she got up from the table and went out side.
The snow was lightly falling from the dark clouded sky. Grace twirled around in the snow and started to skip down a little path which leads to the lake. Looking all around her she didn’t see anyone and she started to dance to one of her routine. Stepping forwards she spread her hands out in the air and danced to the beat. Closing her eyes she continued to dance down the path not noticing anything or anyone go by her. She was in her own little world.

D.J. had woken up at 4. Ate a proper breakfast and was out of the Great Hall by 5. Her limbs aching to stretch as far as they could and be very awakened by the warmth she wanted to embrace and run around the lake with ease. Her blonde hair was up in it's usual pony tail, ear warmers were around her hair, and she wore a sweat suit that was scarlett. Her cd played accompanied her and she listened to the hyper active songs of dance music. Such as Dream a Dream and Castles in the sky.
By the time D.J. had reached the lake she was well ready for a full circle run. Dropping to the cold, snow covered ground, she did push ups and crunches. Then stretching her legs, warming up for her daily jog, she lowered her head to her knee. When she was finished, she nearly jumped up and started her pace. Counting every few seconds on how she stepped. Then she was off. Jogging to the music. She didn't even notice another girl coming down the path to the lake until she had a head on collision.
D.J. took off her head phones swiftly and looked at the girl she had accidentally ran into. Her eyes looked her up and down, she didn't appear to be a Slytherin, there was something in her eyes that showed a bit of kindness. She wasn't a Gryffiedor, because then D.J. would know her. She had to either be a Hufflepuff or a Ravieclaw. D.J. turned her cd player off and smiled warmly at the girl.
"I'm Donna Jo Michaels, my friends call me D.J. or Deej. I don't care which one, either or is just dandy with me. Your choice really. What are you doing out so early? Not many people are out this early are they? Except me...I'm always out this early. I jog every morning. It's a normal routine. But, I can't say I have seen you around here before and I'm pretty good with faces. And I mean really good with faces. It's like a sixth sense or something." D.J. stuck out her hand for Grace to shake. Wondering if she would shake it at all. D.J. wouldn't mind if she didn't but, there were times when D.J. liked to make new friends. Make New Friends But Keep The Old, One Is Silver And The Other's Gold...

Grace spun around once or twice with her brown hair following with her. A smile lay on her face as she continued to dance in the cold morning air. The wind began to blow again but gently and sending her brown hair in to wind. Tucking her hair behind her ears she than turned up her CD player even louder.
"You held my hand and walked me home, I know Why you gave me that kiss it was something like this it made me go ooh ohh You wiped my tears, got rid of all my fears, why did you have to go? Guess it wasn't enough to take up some of my love Guys are so hard to trust Did I not tell you that I'm not like that girl? The one who gives it all away
Did you think that I was gonna give it up to you, this time? Did you think that it was somethin I was gonna do and cry? Don't try to tell me what to do, Dont try to tell me what to say, You're better off that way
Don't think that your charm and the fact that your arm is now around my neck Will get you in my pants I'll have to kick your ass and make you never forget I'm gonna ask you to stop, thought I liked you a lot, but I'm really upset Get out of my head get off of my bed yeah thats what I said Did I not tell you that I'm not like that girl, the one who, throws it all away" Grace sang out loudly to herself dancing. It was one of her old routines which had won her first place in many competions.
Just then she felt someone bump into her and she fell on the ground. "Oi." Grace called out and sat on the ground and rubbed her head. "Hello I am dancing here!" Grace called out and took the girls hands and helped herself up. Putting her hands on her hips she looked at the younger girl and smiled. "Well... Well.... Well... looks like I found myself a Gryffindor to pick on. Awe I am just kidding man you talk to much D.J chill." Grace said with a wink and crossed her arms across her chest. "Hmm well if you were wondering I am a Ravenclaw. Yeah... Yeah... Yeah... I don’t act like one all the time lets just say I have a sour attitude." Grace said smiling and waiting for the girl to reply. Tucking more hair behind her ears she turned down her CD player and stared at the girl.

"Really? I hadn't noticed. No, actually I did. If you didn't catch that, that was sarcasm. I don't think you have to act the way your house describes you. I mean if I did, I would be in Hufflepuff. BUt, I'm not. I'm in Gryffiedor. Yes, I know I talk alot. My momma always said my mouth would get me trouble, but do you think I listened to her? Do you? Well, I didn't. And still haven't today. I say what I want to say when I want to say it. I'm an opinionated person I am, and there's nothing any one can do about it. Except Slytherins. They can do something about it." D.J. said, her bravery coming to, until she cowered back a little and tried to smile.
"What were you doing? With all the turns and stuff? I've never seen anything like it. Were you a ballerina or something? I like ballerinas, they're always so pretty and stuff. They can dance on their toes too! It's really neat! I have always wanted to be a ballerina. What's it like? Do you get roses thrown at you after recitals like they do in the movies? That would be way cool. Way way way cool. If you aren't a ballerina then are you a fairy princess? That would be awesome too! Only kidding about the fairy princess part, I'm childish but not that childish." She smiled and fiddled with her hair as she waited for Grace to answer.

Grace glared at the girl and put her hands on her hips. She was just about to tape her mouth shut but stopped herself. This girl reminded her too much of Summer. Still glaring at the girl she sighed and turned up her CD player louder. "Well I didn’t say you have to be what your house is about. Hey I liked to study and get really good grades. Well looks like you were running. I was on the cross country team for a while but then quite and took up Quidditch. Its a rather lets say more eventful sport." Grace told the younger girl and took her hands from her hips to her side. Before she was glaring at the girl but now she was smiling. Tucking more hair back behind her ears she groaned and searched her shoulder bag for a hair band. Taking out a light blue hair band she put her hair up into a nice pony tail and looked at the girl as she began talking again.
Once again she put her hands across her chest and looked at her with wide eyes. She didn’t even talk this much but no one was a match for Kim or her sister. Rolling her eyes as the girl called her a ballerina did it look like she was! Glaring at the girl again she imated her playing with her pony tail. "Dose it look like I am a ballerina? Well I am not I am a hip hop dancer. If you need me to spell that out for yeah I can. But any whose I do get roses after my shows and from the little girls I teach." Grace told her and stopped imitating her sighing she stared off into space and bobbed her head a bit at the music.

D.J. shook her head as Grace mentioned Quidditch. The sport always scared D.J. she wasn't usually one to play in such a violent area. D.J. smiled and breathed in as she wished she could be running again.
"Running is much better. I like to watch Quidditch, but playing in it is a totally different subject. I wouldn't want to get hurt by those bludgers, though Parvati is rather good at blocking them, I couldn't risk the chance. Every morning I exercise by jogging, then at noon it's crunches, then before bed is push-ups. The girls in my dorm get annoyed of me nagging them about their health, but there really isn't anything they can do to stop me." D.J. said with a smile as she started to hop up and down on both legs, one after another. Her smile then fell as Grace turned sour again, D.J. narrowed her eyebrows, ready to snap the girl's head off but refrained and smiled again.
"Hip hop dancing? Is that some sort of dance? Like they do in the music videos? Because if it is, that's really cool! That takes more skill then ballet does! I should know, I was in ballet but I didn't finish it. I sucked. My teacher told me to my face. And I agreed with her. My toes hurt every day after practice and all that stuff. You get roses? You teach people? That's cool. I wouldn't have the patience to teach someone, that takes a lot of patience. I admire the teachers here at Hogwarts because, they need lots of that stuff. Even Professor Snape, I do my best to be good in his class, but he always finds a way to deduct points from Gryffiedor. It's really not nice. No wonder why he is the Head of House in Slytherin. I wonder what house he was in when he went to Hogwarts? Isn't that weird? Have you ever wondered what house the professors were in Hogwarts when they were our age? Like Dumbledore? Wouldn't that be weird if we saw them when they were like us? Did they date? Ew! That's gross to think of! Ew! Get it out of my mind!"
