It was a bitterly cold saturday. The grass of the Hogwarts grounds was covered by hardened snow. The sun was hidden behind a swamp or gray clouds over the horizon. The temperature read 5 degrees but with the wind chill it was easily 10 below. The wind howled as it whiped through the trees. No kids could be seen on the Hogwarts grounds. None except one. A student in green quidditch robes and with a broom over his shoulder ventured out into the unmerciful weather. This student was Cedric Wood, and today was his training day.
"Grgreat ddday ffor a quiquiquiditch gggame." Cedric muttered. His words were cut off with the shivering of his teath. His knees buckled under the cold but he kept going. Cedric had gotten an invitation to play on an amature quidditch team so he decided to start training for tryouts. Today had happened to be one of those days to train. As he walked across the snow it crumpled under his feet. Finally reaching the pitch Cedric turned and entered the Slytherin locker room.
As Cedric entered the room he felt a rush of warm air hit his body. Instantly he began to get warm. Cedric walked over to the fire and sat on a bench in front of it. "Man I couldn't have picked a better day." Cedric said sacrasticly to himself. After about 10 minutes of warming up Cedric grabbed his broom and walked back out onto the frozen tundra known as the quidditch pitch.
As he looked out onto the pitch he said to himself "If there is a hell, this is it." Laughing Cedric hopped on his broom and did a few warmup laps. After he was done his face was frozen to the point that he couldn't feel it. "Atleast I wont know im cold." Cedric said. Grabbing a quaffle he had brough out with him he tapped it and it flew out into the middle of the pitch. Cedric flew in front of the goal posts and waved his wand. The quaffle camehurdaling at the goal posts. Cedric dove and caught it before it went in one of the hoops. After a few go's at this Cedric noticed a figure walking along the lawns. Cedric dropped the quaffle and flew down to see who or what it was.

Justin watched as his fellow Gryffindors ate. He did'nt feel like eating. He had just been offered a chance to play on the same team his brother played on. He could'nt help but think about the chance to play for a team, espicially with his brother. Standing up he picked up his Firebolt and headed out of the Great Hall. Maybe he could work up an appetite training for quidditch. As he exited the hall, he turned and headed outside.
Stepping outside he felt as though he was about to turn into an icicle. Shivering he headed over to the quidditch pitch and said aloud " Whew it's c-c-cold, m-m-maybe I sh-should consider doing this an-n-n-nother time." He decided against that and reached the quidditch pitch within minutes. He put his leg over the Firebolt and kicked off and immediately he felt the cool win wipping at this face. Stopping, he saw someone else ahead of him and he flew over to them. He knew who it was on first sight. He did'nt really feel like arguing, so he said " Hi C-c-cedric, intersted in a some friendly training. I do'nt feel like fighting outr here, but make no mistake I'm only doing this so that I can train and I feel that it would be a better way of training than being just by yourself."

Ceric watched as Justin flew over to him. "Why hello mr. freindly." Cedric said looking disgusted with Justin. Cedric had no idea why Justin was out here. Once Justin answered his unasked question Cedric looked directly in his eyes. "Now Justin, what in all of our years of knowing each other makes you think I would even think of having some freindly training with you?" Cedric rolled his eyes and turned his broom around. As he began flying off Cedric got an idea. He might not want to train with Justin, but seeing as how he was the superior quidditch player Cedric could embarass him a little.
Cedric turned his broom around and flew over to Justin. "Ok Justin." he said calmly "I'll train with you, but theres something you need to know. I don't have freindly training sessions. I have intense workouts. I take this very seriously. So If you want to practice with me make sure your on point." Cedric smiled and said "So what do you want to do fisrt?"

((I know it was awhile ago but I’m trusting Justin’s invitation to join you guys is still good ) Mary lay in her bed tossing a ball from hand to hand frown on her face. She was thinking of the quidditch game a few days ago. Though she was happy Slytherin won she was disappointed that they had not scored a single goal and her passes were nearly always intercepted. Mary knew she shouldn’t be too worried about it considering chaser wasn’t even her position to begin with; but that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be good at it. Based on a spur of the moment impulse Mary got out of bed and put on her quidditch gear and grabbed her quidditch bag. Throwing the dark green bag, containing her beaters bat, a bunch of balls that could be substituted as bluggers, and a quaffle, over her shoulder Mary stomped out of her room and through the dungeons. Pushing open the front doors Mary considered turning back because of the sudden gust of cold that assailed her; but she was all dressed already and it would just look bad to return immediately. Slugging through the snow Mary made her way to the broom shed and collected the Firebolt she had gotten for tryouts and the game. As she approached the pitch she saw two boys, both of whom she was on friendly terms with and neither which she knew very well. A smile on her face at the thought of some friendly company while practising Mary continued toward the pitch. Mary mounted the broom and rose into the air before disposing of her bag in the stands. She then approached the Justin and Cedric. “Mind if I join? Or is this a boys only club?” She asked with a smirk.

Jasmine was sound asleep in her bed. Her hair was rufled up and she looked peaceful. It had been a couple since the game against Slytherin and Ravenclaw and Slytherin won. It was a terrible defect and Jasmine was a little affected by it. But she knew that maybe the next game will go well. Turning on her side Jasmine opened her eyes and groaned. Her head asked from the fall and her eyes hurt from lack of sleep. Yawning she pulled the covers more over her and turned around on her other side. Looking at the walls she had a blank expression on her face. She had soared one goal out of two and it was good for her first game. Rubbing her eyes she rose from her bed and sat at the edge.
Putting her head in her hands she took a deep breath from her stomach and ran her hand through her long dark brown hair. Her stomach grumped in the sound of hunger. Grabbing it tight she felt herself go hot and she started to sweat. Closing her eyes she stood up still grabbing her stomach tight. She was having a low blood sugar moment and she hated that. Jasmine would never eat breakfast resulted to her to sweat and feel uncomterable pains in her stomach. Pulling on her long sleeved blue turtle neck and long pair of jeans she swung her shoulder bag on her shoulder and walked out of the common room. Not looking at anybody all she did was blink. Her eyes became watery and she felt tired.
Opening the doors to the great hall she sat down at the Ravenclaw table. Putting her hands in her lap she looked around for something to eat. The pits of her stomach growled and demanded for food. Closing her eyes she took a piece of toast and smattered it up in Jelly. Taking a bite of her toast she looked at the clock that hung just before the hall. A cold shiver ran up her spine and she wiped her hands of crumbs and stood up from the table. Not wasting a minute she ran towards the Ravenclaw locker room. Once open reaching it she opened up her locker and grabbed her broom, quaffle, boots, hot, gloves, and clothes. Sitting down on the bench she pulled on her pair of practice pants and shirt and slipped her feet into her boots.
Making sure she was all geared she picked up the quaffle and threw it up into the air and caught it again. Smiling she took her broom and walked out to the pitch. A strong wind greeted her as her feet crunched in the snow. It was still winter time and the grounds were still covered with a blanker of snow. Jasmine hazel eyes lit up with delight and she felt her insides feel peaceful. She liked the feeling and mounted her broom and kicked with her legs into the air. Flying around the pitch for a few minutes she wondered where Vanessa was. The game against Hufflepuff and Gryffindor was coming up and she needed to practice. Looking at her clock she saw a couple people gathered in the center of the pitch. Stopping her broom she turned her head towards the people. Taking a deep breath she turned her broom around and flew over towards them. Smiling she stopped and rubbed her hands together. "Hello there everyone. Why are you out here on this cold day?" Jasmine asked glancing towards the locker rooms.

Cedric was wating for Justins reply when a girl he knew as Mary Evans flew up to them. She was a third year Slytherin who he saw around everyonce in a while. "Why of course you can join us Mary." Cedric said smirking. The clouds flouted in front of the sun making it darker out on the grounds. Then it began to snow lightly. "Oh I love this weather." Cedric said looking up. Then another girl flew up next to them. Cedric didn't know her name but he had seen her in classes before. "Well we were going to have a nice little training session. I don't believe I know you. No doubt another gryffindor though." Cedric said smiling evily.
"You look like one who would be a Gryffindor." Cedric smiled and looked around at the pitch. " Well we are never going to get anywhere just sitting here." Cedric threw the quaffle in the air and caught it. "I don't know what possitions you guys play. Im a keeper. What about the rest of you so we can get started." Cedric said smilling. He couldn't wait to get started and show off.

Cedric had just told her that she was welcome to join them when Jasmine showed up beside her. “I can’t believe Quidditch is so popular on such a horrible day as this.” Mary commented As Jasmine asked why they were out on such a cold day Mary answered simply, “I need to practice chaser after that abysmal performance at the game” before turning her attention back to the boys not wanting to discuss it.
Mary giggled as Cedric mentioned that Jasmine looked like a Gryffie, she couldn’t see it but who knows. “Well I prefer to play beater but as I said my chaser needs a little work. You still playing chaser Jasmine? Or are you keeper?” Mary asked absentmindedly while speeding her broom around the group; it was colder when you remained still. She just couldn’t wait to begin playing, it would be nice and warm then.

Jasmine looked at Cedric as he called her a Gryffindor. 'Okay now I wasn’t suspecting that' She thought in her mind and just smiled. Rubbing her hands together she breathed in them and looked at Mary who asked what position she was going to play. "Chaser and I can help you. At first I thought I wasn’t all that good but now after the game I am pretty good. I am not saying I am better than anyone else but it was my first game and I scored a goal!" Jasmine said as her face lit up. Quidditch almost seemed to be her life right now. It was always on her mind all day and it was all she could think. Quidditch this Quidditch that. Quidditch almost everything. Looking back towards the lockers Jasmine sighed. Vanessa still didn’t show up and she felt nervous with out her friend next to her. Gulping she held the quaffed tightly in her arms and looked at the other people.
"I will play chaser or beater but I really don’t feel like getting the buldgers out at the moment. So how about Mary, Justin, and I try to score on Cedric." Jasmine said with a grin on her face. Taking in a deep breath she turned her broom towards the other end of the pitch. Her hair had falling from its tight bun and was in her face. Blowing on a strand of air she waited as the other people took position as well. Than that very second she shot forward and threw the quaffle in Marry direction.
