The massive oak doors seemed to fly off the hinges as Dawn McGrogan bursted through them. Just by the look of her face- you could tell she was fuming with fury. Her eyes seemed to be as deep as the ocean as her breaths seemed to be close together and shallow. She wore a totally black cloak, with the hood over her head, but her face was visable. Marching across the lawns, even from several feet away people made sure they got out of her way. Dawn didnt even need to say one word. Her wand was already out and stiffly marked in her right hand. You could tell she wasnt in a verbal mood.
Steam seemed to be excaping Dawn's hood from the back. But, she was just breathing quickly and the water particals seemed to freeze into the blistering cold winter air. Dawn seemed to vanish into the Forbidden forest- but no one dared to come in after her. Suddenly to Dawn's right, the snow covered ground seemed to split as a bolt of something seemed to crack a tree base into two. Turning back at Dawn- the reason was her wand. A single flick of her wrist was surely deadly when she was full of rage. Walking deeper and deeper into the forest, Dawn flicked her wand every which way. Tree branches fell down, Snow seemed to be apposing gravity- and running away from Dawn's beck and call. It seemed as if a blizzard was errupting- but all at the sake of one single 16 year old girl's wand.
Several minutes passed as Dawn finnally stopped. She lowered her wand as the snow she kicked up fell to the ground. Still think flakes fell from the sky, but not duee to her. Quietly listening to her surroundings- she heard nothing. Not one thing. No birds, no person, no creature of any sort- all she could her was the deep heaves of her own breathing. "AHHHHHH!" She Bellowed as she quickly spun on her heels and shot a think beam from her wand out onto a tree which started to catch on fire. It was a lone tree- which wouldnt spread flames- thankfully for the forest. Dawn wouldnt care if it burnt down the whole town. She was furrious and didnt want to be dealt with.

Cedric walked out onto the frontlawns. The ground was covered with snow. There were footprints going every which way. The first years sat there throwing snowballs at each other. "Immature prats." Cedric said to himslef as he walked past them. Then just as he had turned his back a snowball hit him in the back of the head. Cedric turned around furiously looking for the culprit. "Who was the?!" Cedric said angrily. All the children aroun pointed at one rosey cheeked chubby littel boy. "So it was you was it?" Cedric said looking into the boys eyes. "Yes. Im sorry." said the boy. Cedric could hear the scardness in his voice. "It's quite alright." Cedric said turning around. Then with a whip of his wand a big ball of snow hit the boy right in the face. "Now it's aright." Cedric said smiling.
As Cedric walked away laughing at the boy he noticed a figure marching into the woods flicking its wand. "I know that figure." Cedric said grining. And in fact he did. That was Dawn McGrogan. Cedric took off following her into the wood.
Cedric lost sight of her but it didn't matter, he just followed the debree laying in the snow. Itwas starting to get a little chilly out so Cedric tightened his cloak around his body. Finally Cedric came to a stop as he heard a scream. He kept walking a little further and saw Dawn laying there in the snow. "It's a little cold for that isn't it Dawn?" Cedric asked. Hewent and sat down on a tree stump near Dawn. "What's got you in such a rage?" he asked looking down at her.

Dawn was furious, of course for the normal reasons. Her holiday sucked, Father pulling regulations on her trips she can take, when she is allowed to come home, hasnt seen her mother for a good five months, Justin Lionheart was getting on her last nerve, and she is failing Divination. It was a STUPID subject- Why she takes it?- she doesnt know.
Dawn was standing with her hood over her face as she heard a voice speak from behind her. A farmilar voice, but she hasnt heard that voice speak in awhile. "Cedric?" She said questioning as she turned around. Her friend for over a year stood there, he kept on talking. She was angry, but happy to see him at the same time. She wanted to be alone, she didnt want anyone to follow her. But still.. she couldnt change time- Cedric did follow her and he was there.
She narrowed her eyes as him as she changed the subject, "I wanted to be alone." she said as she crossed her arms over her chest and turned her back to him as he sat down. Dawn's wand as still out and at ready for her own will- she wanted to vent her anger, she wanted to Fight! But she wanted to be alone. Sitting down in the snow, Dawn looked off into the wood- now the only two living things she saw was herself and her friend. Lovely how with a few simple spells things run for their lives.

Cedric gave an evil smile as he heard Dawn talk. "Wanted to be alone?" Cedric said. "Well I guess I could tell that they way you destroyed any living thing in your path." Cedric lauhed at his comment and looked Dawn straight in her eyes. This was a daring move for a pesron, any other person would be stunned by now but Cedric had a frreinship with Dawn and he knew she wouldn't hurt him.... much. He knew he was pushing the limit but he couldn't help it. Then he felt a rush of cold wind run through his hair. "Man it's cold out here isn't it?" Cedric asked retoricly. He pulled his hood up over head and stood up.
Cedric began pacing in circles around Dawn looking out into the wood. "It's amazing how much of a rage you can get in in such a short time isn't it Dawn?" Cedric said still looking at the tree's. "You know what your problem is Dawn? You get to easily upset. You need to learn to harness your anger. Not let it loose the second you get it." Cedric smiled with his head not facing Dawn. He knew he was really pushing it know so he decided it best to quickly stop. "Now for the last time what got you so sngry? You know im not very patient Dawn."

Dawn sat in the snow and glanced at Cedric. When she looked at him- he didnt move his eyes. They were friends, and have been for awhile- but she knew damn right he knew her boundaries and he was an inch away from crossing the line. She locked eyes with him also as she gave him a look so cold- it should have sent chills down his spine.
He began walkign around her as Dawn half listened. He went on about how she needed to know how to control her anger. She normally did. Only once or twice a month all her bottled up torment excaped. In this case- the wood was the venting area. At least it wasnt a person- for there sake they would have been dead by now. Cedric yet again pushed as he asked her a second time what was wrong with her. She blurted out. "The Normal." in a restrained voice. It seemed as if she hissed it out through her teeth.

Cedric felt and heard the anger in Dawns voice as she hissed what was bothering her. "The usual?" he said still pacing. "Mudbloods getting on your nerves? Justin Lionheart trying to step up? Or are you just not getting things your way?" Cedric stopped and looked at her when he said this. He knew very well that that last comment was the last straw. He had crossed the line. He just kept pushing and pushing. He was in that kind of mood today. Like Dawn today just wasn't his day. Instead of letting his frustrations out on other objects like Dawn he let it out by his pushing of Dawn. They were good freinds but Cedric just couldn't help but push and push.
Putting his hand in his pocket Cedric Gripped his wand ready for an attack. He had never had Dawn attack him before but he didn't want to risk it. Starting to pace again Cedric began to pace again. "Are you upset because of our lose to Gryffindor? That was a while ago Dawn you need to get over that. Maybe had you let me play we would have one." Cedric said still pacing, still gripping his wand. He was ready. Hoping she would let it all out. He wanted it. He needed it.

"Let you Play!" She boomed as she jumped up and walked right up to Cedric. "Let you Play! I put you in! You did NOTHING! You must of forgotten that huh? You might as well shouldnt of even shown up!" (( OOC: haha.. had to write it!)) Dawn Growled as she noticed Cedric had his wand in hand. Looking from his hand, to his face Dawn said outloud as she turned away, "Put it away you dimwitted fool. Me and you would be at point to point with each other. You know I very will will fight to the death, and you would as well." Dawn spoke as her back was toward him. Her arms were crossed over her chest as she replied to his previous accusations. "No, It wasnt about the Gryffie Games. It is family, school,...MUDBLOODS!" she shouted as she turned around and looked at Cedric and waited for him to do something. (( Short, I know.. Oh well... Deal! ))

Cedric listened as Dawn yelled. "You didn't give me much of a chance to play." Cedric said smirking at Dawn. He could keep his temper unlike her. When Dawn told Cedric to put his wand away he did. "Your right. It would be pointless." Cedric smirked as he enjoyed Dawns anger. It fuled him. Then Dawn said it was about her family. The smirk wiped right off Cedric's Face. A look of sorrow, sympathy, came across Cedric's face. This was rare but it did happen. Cedric looked at Dawn and thought of his on family problems. Looking down at the snow Cedric went and sat next to Dawn.
"I know how you feel." Cedric said looking down. He had his arms on his knees holding his hands together. "I have some family problems of my own. I know how it feels." Cedric looked down at the snow and then back in Dawns eyes. For once in his life Cedric seemed to be thinking of anothers feelings. Then the words were uttered that had never been uttered before out of his mouth. "Do you want to talk about it?"

(( Why does everyone say they like to see Dawn mad? Haha.. is it like a show or something!? )) Dawn listened to Cedric's tone as he replied about Quidditch. She noticed the smile across his face- as they made the feeling worse. Dawn adored quidditch, as well as Cedric. But there was one difference between the two, Dawn was captain. He wasnt playing at all- so she took him out. Easy as that. You play your in, you dont your out. When Dawn spoke of her family- Cedric was silent for a moment. He's voice changed to a suddle tone as he asked if she wanted to talk about it. "Do I Ever talk about my problems!?" She shot back at him- with no less of an angered tone than before. Dawn turned on her heels and pointed towards the way out of the forest- and the nearly broken down tree. Shaking her head she walked towards a stump and sat down, but instead of sitting on the stump she missed it and fell on the ground directly next to it. Hitting the ground, Dawn's face was still under her hood as she glared at the ground. Suddenly her shoulders started to rise and fall as she began to laugh. Although it was small and pretty meaningless, it was much needed. Looking up at Cedric, she noticed the care on his face. Running her hands through the snow, she made a snow ball and threw it at his face. "Dont give me pity, Boy." she shouted at him. She ment what she said, she hated pitty- but she was glad she had someone who cared for her. Aden has been gone, as well as Rachel. Dawn was quite hopeless the last couple months. Hence the reason of all the anger, but now.. it might be alright.

Cedric listened as Dawn yelled at him. "Fine sorry for trying to do this nice thing." Cedric said yelling back. As Dawn walked away Cedric was furious. For once in his life he tried to be nice to someone and all he got was anger. Now he saw why he was neve nice, it get's you no where. Suddenly Dawn fell to the ground. Cedric laughed at her but then noticed she was laughing to. "Well your one hard person to figure out Dawn." he said "First your mad than your laughing." Cedric stood up and looked at her furiously. Then suddenly he got hit in the face with a snowball. Cedric opened his mouth in shock and said "Are you crazy?"
Cedric heard her say give her no pitty. "Fine I wont anymore. I wont give a damn." Then he saw she was begining to get in a good mood and he said "And you wont get out of hitting me with that snow." Cedric pulled out his wand and waved it at a the tree branches abouve dawn. The branches shook and snow fell onto Dawns head. Cedric pointed at her and laughed. "That's got to be cold." he said smiling.

Sitting in a pile of snow, all due to Cedric's wand, Dawn looked up to him with a evil look. Shaking her head, snow fell off of her hood. Pushing herself up off the ground, she looked at herself. She was soaked. "Thanks!" she said sarcasticly. Taking out her own wand, she pointed it at herself as her cloak became dry again. Looking up at Cedric, she spoke, "Hard one to figure out." she said repeating what he said. "Exactly what I like to hear. I dont like when people think they got me figured out." Walking up to Cedric she messed up his hair. She smiled as she played with him.
Walking back to the stump, she previously wanted to sit on, she made sure she actually did sit down this time. Sitting on the stump and held her cloak tight on her body as began to feel cold again. Bitting her lip she looked at Cedric. "BURR!" she yelled at him with a laugh after it.

Cedric smiled as Dawn stood off and looked at herself. "Well I told you I would get you back for hitting me." Cedric laughed and listened as she talked to him. "You know what Dawn." Cedric said looking at her "I think I have you figured out. You try to pretend tough so that people wont mess with you. But on the inside you are a big softie." Cedric smiled knowing this would get Dawn mad. Cedric felt Dawns hand run through his hair and he laughed. "I see you want to touch me." Cedric laughed again and watched her sit down. After Dawn yelled Buur Cedric looked at her and said "You know it is kinda cold. Do you want to go inside and get some hot chocolate?"

Dawn sat and listened to Cedric's theory of her. She merely shrugged. "Belive as you please. But that doesnt mean it is correct." She said as she looked at him and raised one of her eye brows- followed by a matter of fact look. Taking a deep breath she looked aside. She looked off into the woods- where she came from, and how much destruction she made. Oh how she longed to do more. She wanted to make the whole world pay for her anger, but she knew she couldnt do that in a day. 'later' she thought, 'later when im alone' she thought again. Maybe next time she could make such a mark on herself, as a person with her personality- that she could find out the real way to deal with her anger. Maybe for worse- maybe... But maybe for good- hardly...
Cedric spoke as Dawn took a few moments to reply. ".... Umm.. Sure..." She said as she looked at him with a grin. It was of course forced because she was low, but oh well, Time will tell on her emotions.
Standing up Dawn crossed her arms at her chest. Still holding her wand tightly in her right hand, she kicked up snow on her way back to the lawns. 'People always resort to hot chocolate. Its not the answer for every problem.' Dawn thought to herself as she turned back to Cedric. "Are you comming?" she asked as she waited for him to catch up to her.
