Ivy strolled down from the common room, not entirely sure where she was going. She'd just finished an essay and couldn't find any of her friends anywhere. She wasn't someone who took easily to having a conversation with just anyone, so she was resigned to being on her own for the evening.
'Oh well,' she sighed to herself, 'a little bit of piece and quiet doesn't hurt for a change.' Except it's hardly a change, she told herself. Why was she feeling so lonely and sorry for herself today? She must try to shake it off.
Ivy stepped outside. The air was cool and fresh. She liked it. The sky was fairly clear. Ivy looked up enthusiastically at the starry sky. Maybe life wasn't so bad after all.
Ivy saw sparks in the distance over the bridge. Probably just someone fooling around, she thought. All the same, she started to head for them. She felt like having a bit of company.
As she neared, she heard three voices talking. There were two male ones and a female one which she was absolutely sure had to be Kiyla's. Beaming, she hastened forwards.
'"Hi," she said, as soon as she was within reach of them. "May I join your little gathering?" Ivy smiled at Kiyla, who seemed a little out of sorts. Not unhappy, just... preoccupied maybe. No... that wasn't it. Ivy decided to forget it and waited for a reply.

Kiyla smiled at Dean as he put her name in the ribbons.
"That is wicked cool." Kiyla said with a smile when Ivy came over.
"Ivy! Of course you can join! I was hoping i would run into you." Kiyla said happily to Ivy. She felt so happy all of a sudden. She looked back at Payton and Dean. "Oh and these are to of my new friends, Dean and Payton. And Payton and Dean this is my best friend Ivy. Rememver Payton, I mentioned her before?" Kiyla said gesturing to each one as she said their name. Her stomach did a little flip when she said Paytons name but she ignored it. She looked back at Ivy to see her looking confused.
"What's wrong, Ivy?" Kiyla said to Ivy concerned. Ivy looked confused and baffled about something. She wondered what it was.

Ivy said "Hi" to the two older boys as Kyila introduced them, smiling shyly. She'd seen Payton around the Hufflepuff Common Room but had never spoken to him and she'd never seen much of Dean before.
Ivy watched Kiyla carefully and saw how her eyes flickered a little when she mentioned Payton's name. 'Ah, so that's it', she thought to herself, smiling slightly.
Kiyla asked her what was wrong. She looked rather worried. Ivy gave her a puzzled frown, saying, "Huh? Nothing. What?" She guessed Kiyla must have picked up on her trying to figure out what was going on, but she wasn't going to ask Kiyla about it until later. Well, obviously not with Payton standing here.
"So, what you lot been doing?" Ivy asked, trying to move the conversation on, something she wasn't particularly good at doing.

He smiled at Ivy, remembering that her name had been meantioned earlier even before Kiyla reminded him. He gave her a nod and a rather relaxed army slute
"At your service"
He watched the Ivy for a moemnt, knwoing that he had seen her around the common room. Then he shrugged slightly and glanced back at Kiyla.
"We have been entertaining your friend"
He grinned over at Ivy when he said the words, and used his wand to make the letters, this time forming Ivy's name in Hufflepuff yellow ribbion.

((I hop eits ifne I join...I am a bit bored ) Jordan came bounding down to the small group of friends. Her bookbag banging loudly against her legs. You could hear the rattle of stray artistic devices such as pens or pencils. She smiled as she approached them. "Ello!" She said, a bit out of breath. She looked around the group to see who was all there. She saw Dean, Ivy, Kiyla, and Payton. Good. All people she knew. "Sory, if I'm interupting anything. Just looked like loads of fun and then I saw the ribbon thing and I decided I needed to come down here." She exclaimed a small smile on her face. She looked from person to person. Hoping her presence was welcomed. Or at least not unwelcomed.

Ivy watched as Payton spelt her name in ribbons. It was a neat trick, one she'd seen the older boys do quite a lot. She wondered why they liked it so much.
"Nice," she said, her eyes twinkling as they made contact with Payton's.
Ivy looked away as she heard someone approaching. A smile formed on her face as she saw it was Jordan.
"Hey!" she said, in answer to Jordan's half-query. "Not at all as far as I'm concerned. Come and join us!" Ivy moved aside to make room for Jordan, welcoming the presence of someone else she knew. She didn't feel quite comfortable here.

Jordan smiled and stood beside Ivy.
"Whats up my friends?" She asked a giggle lingering on her lips. She suppressed it with her hand and looked at Payton.
"Oi! Payton, could you do that ribbon thingy again? It looked cool!" She said, faling in her attempt to stop the giggle that was trying to erupt from her lips.
"Sory, i just thought...nevermind." Jordan said with a teasing smile.

Kiyla smiled at everyone. She had never really been aroudn this many people at once before. To tell the truth she had never had this many friends before. She turned around again to look at everything that was under and beyond the bridge. She smiled softly thinking. NOt really thinking about much but just thinking. She was happy that she had friends.
She looked over her shoulder when she saw Jordan approach and smiled softly at Jordan and looked at Ivy then quickly turned away. She wondered how Jordan knew Payton but decided not to ponder that thought since he was Payton and he was cool so why shouldn't people know him.
She looked over at Dean who seemed to be quiet this whole time and grinned at him then winked and turned her attention back to the things that were beyond the bridge. She didn't know why she jus smiled and winked at Dean but she did and oh well. She sighed and leaned her head against the railing listening to her friends talk and giggle.

Jordan watched Kiyla wink at Dean. Hmmm, she thought. She smiled at Kiyla and said,
"I have bruises from Quidditch. Bloody Bludgers, they hurt. " Jordan laughed and rubbed her left arm with her right hand. It was getting chilly and she was gettng cold. But she wanted to stay out. She liked talking with her friends.

Kiyla laughed a little.
"If it weren't for you and your beating skills people would have been in pain as well! Me included!" Kiyla said smiling at Jordan. She looked up at the sky which was getting dotted with more stars as they spoke. She shivered a little because of the cool breezes.

"Yeah, I just wished we had another beater, or at least an active one. We are playing the first house games, I think against Ravenclaw and I dont see how I am going to be able to block BOTH bludgers from hitting you guys," Jordan said with a look of agitation on her face. She loved being beater but if she was the only one, it was tough on her part.

Kiyla gave Jordan a sympathetic smile. She could only imagine how hard it would be to have to try and block one bludger but two... she didn't know...
"It'll be okay. You'll do good, and well get an active one soon." Kiyla said trying to sound reassuring.

Jordan smiled at Kiyla's reassuring words and nodded. It was hard to block one bludger especially since her skills werent that big.
"Thanks." She said with a gleaming smile.

"You're good you know. Don't put yourself down." Kiyla said seriously. She smiled at Jordan then asked her, "So where were you?"

Ivy listened as Kiyla and Jordan talked on about the Quidditch team. She'd had a narrow scrape with a Bludger which Jordan had managed to defend her from, so she smiled at what they were saying. She didn't join in though, because she was feeling quiet, faced with too many people to talk to. She just stood there, leaning on the side of the bridge, watching her two friends.

"Where was I? As in..?" Jordan asked, a confused expression on her face. She smiled at Kiyla and then said,
"If you meant by where I was before I came here, I was...that is a very good question. Where was i?" Jordan raised an eyebrow and looked up into the sky. Thinking hard. She had forgotten where she was.
