It was late but not after curfew. The sun was setting but you could barely see it because it was getting cloudy and Kiyla was feeling a relection of the weather, cloudy with sun that you can barely see, about their Quidditch practice. She pretty much sucked. Kiyla had changed out of her Quidditch robes and was walking around.
She continued to walk out of the castle and she came across a bridge. It was the same bridge she had met Nokomis and Willow on. Kiyla smiled as she looked out to the land under the bridge. She looked up at the sky to see the clouds coming in thicker.
Rain, rain Kiyla thought over and over. She rested her head against the railing part of the bridge and sighed.

((Hope you don't mind the intrusion, but it seemed like an open invitation))
Managing to escape Dillion for the evening, he made his way across the lawn at Hogwarts. He had planned on attempting some homework that night, but it seemed that his brother had too great an influence on him, as when he finally sat down to do it, it seemed all together too dull. So, dispite the thought of another homework assignment that woudln't get turned he, he decided he needed some fresh air.
He didn't think anyone would be outside. After all, it was getting late curfew was lingering just over an hour away, but he saw a figured on the bridge ahead. His outgoing nature made him immediatly change his diretion and head towards them. He vaguly recondised the girl as he neard her, some basic features distinguishable in the dim light. He didn't know her name or anything, but he knew she was in Hufflepuff with him.
"Hi"
He called as he neared her, leaning his back against the rail beside her.
"Seems like a Hufflepuff night, huh?"
There was a slight pause for a moment, as he tried to see her face a little clearer in the light.
"I'm Payton by the way"

Kiyla thought about what was going on in her life right now. She smiled faintly at the thought of going with Ivy. She had been staring out into space when she heard a voice say, "hi"
Kiyla looked towards the voice to see it was a boy. She didn't know him at all so she figured he wasn't talking to her. She turned her attention back to the cloudy sky but her thoughts were interrupted again when he said, "Seems like a Hufflepuff night, huh?" Kiyla almost jumped out of her skin when she realized that he was next to her making her realize that he was talking to her.
"Um... right..." Kiyla said nervously as her shynes kicked in. "I'm Kiyla... n- n- nice to meet you." Kiyla studdered nervously.
This is a first... a guy has never volunteerily talked to me, I wonder if he's half sleep... Kiyla thought as she looked at her feet.

He smiled slightly, reaching a hand up and running his fingers through his har as he seemed to think for a moment. He then turnned around and pulled out his wand, saying a simple charm that caused yellow sparks to fly from the end of it as he moved it around to entertain himself.
"I think I've seen you around? You're on the Quidditch team right? I think I saw you in uniform once"
He smiled again, as he said another charm and the sparks from his want turned orange.
"What are you doing out at night? Just seems odd, out here alone and all"

Kiyla smiled faintly. She turned towards the boy nervously.
"Yeah i'm on the Quidditch team." I dont' know why though... i prettymuch suck at it.. Kiyla thought with a sigh.
"Well I'm alone... a lot. I don't really have much friends... well I only have like 3... and i just met them so... I'm used to being alone. Why are you out so late?"
She looked at the sparks coming out of his wand and smiled. "Cool!" She said happily.

He smiled at her reaction to the charm, and decided to play up to the attention. He proceeded to use a serieds of charms until he has frozen 5 of the sparks admitted fomr his wand, and using Mobilarus, he had them dancing along the ground in front of him.
"I got bored"
he replied to her question, once he was sure that she was intranced by his wand tricks.
"Dillion, thats my brother, was off trying to get expelled again, and I didn't want to do my homework....so here I am."

Kiyla giggled happily at Payton. "Did your brother, Dillion you said right, did her teach you that wand trick. It's wicked cool."
Kiyla could tell that Payton was enjoying the attention so she figured she might as well give him more.
"So.. do you come out here? Often i mean? You seem to be someone who has lets of friends." Kiyla said tearing her eyes away from the wand and steadying her gaze on Payton.
Wow... Kiyla thought as she looked at him, No no no! You can't like him! You don't even know him!

He had a pleased smile on his face at her querstion, thought his gaze stayed rather steadily on the sparks, as he had to pay attention to keep them moving.
"Nah, Dillion is into the big stuff--the stuff they don't allow."
He then lifted his charm and after mumbling the moving charm again and using the ribbion-letter writing charm he managed to write her name with the sparks on the K.
Once his task was done, an dhe let it linger long enough to make sure she saw it and had enought time to be impressed, he pulled his wand away and looked back at her, causing the letters and sparks to vanish.
"I come out here sometimes...my friends rae great, but sometimes I like to go out and see where the wolrd takes me...you know? I mean I wouldn't have met you if I didn't come out here, right?"
He flashed her another smile befor elooking donw at his wand, tryign to think of naother trick to show her.

Kiyla gasped impressed as he put her name in the sparks.
"Wow your good at that!" She said amazed. She looked back up to him as her answered.
"Yeah... you wouldn't have met me would you?" Kiyla said putting her back to the rail, "Yeah friends are great. I wouldn't have made it this far if i hadn't had Ivy as a friend."

Dean Thomas was walking under his invisibility cloak ,as he was on his way outside. He was on his way for a night of practice and was wearing his Quidditch robes. He had his Firebolt under his and he had his wand ready for anything. He finally reached the Entrance Hall and went outside and took off his Invisibility cloak off as he walked around and went torwards the bridge he had been on earlier that day.
He reached the bridge in no time and saw that there were two other people there. He walked up to them and said "Hi ,I'm Dean Thomas. Was'nt expecting anyone else to be out here." after he said that he put his wand away and folded his cloak.

He had looked back over at Kiyla when she talked, smiling as she turned around so she faced the same way he did. He then heard the voice of antoher boy and looked over towards the other end of the bridge.
"Hi Dean"
He replied, to the boy giving him his name
"Payton Moore....And I wasn't expecting anyone else to come out here, but eh, the world takes intresting turns doesn't it."
He glanced over at Kiyla, raising his eyebrows slightly as he smiled, at his refrence to earlier in his conversation.

Kiyla smiled at the new comer.
"Seems as if everyone thinks that huh?" She said smirking. "I'm Kiyla and you are... Dean? Hi." She looked at Payton who was smiling at her. She smiled back then turned towards Dean.
"So what brings you out here?"

Dean smiled and said " Hi Payton nice to meet you and yes the world does take interesting turns." he then heard the girls name and said " Hi Kiyla ,I've heard your name before. You know my good friend Justin Lionheart. I'm out her because I'm gonna get some extra practice for Quidditch. How bout you two , why are ya'll out here."

His eyes scaned the other boy, noting the quidditch robes. Yes, it made sense. He had come to the conclusion first year after that quidditch was entertining to watch but nothing he wanted to play himself.
"I am out for the fresh air"
he replied to the other boy's question.
"I found the common room a bit stifiling this evening, and I wanted a change of scenery"

"You've heard my name before? Mine? Well that's a first..." Kiyla said with a laugh. "Justin? How do you know i think Justin?" She was confused now.
"Well i'm out here because... Well i came to think.... pretty much." Kiyla said. She really didn't have a reason why she was out there.

Dean looked at Payton and said " Well fresh air is good for a person." then he looked at Kiyla as she said she was outside to think. Dean said in joking way " I try not to to do that a whole lot. Anyways what are ya' talking about ,if you do'nt mind my asking?" as he looked up in the sky admiring the stairs.

He smiled slightly and shrugged.
"Nothing a Dean wouldn't know already"
he commented, as he raised is wand and did the ribbion name charm again, this time in the air, sort pink ribbion flowing to form Kiyla's name in the darkening air before them. He let it longer for a moment, before another smooth flick and it disapeared.

Dean said " I can do that ,but I do'nt use ribbon." He put his wand and the air and shot out different letters ,each in a different color. He spelled out each of their names and the letters blew up as though they were miniature fireworks. He then said " I like my classes just fine ,except for Potions. How 'bout you Payton?"
