Phoebe nodded. She wished her mom was like that. Her mom never really bothered with her. She rarely even said an occasional I love you.
"Good for you." Phoebe said with a sigh. She looked out onto the lake and a tear rolled down her cheek.

Katie than look at Phoebes direction and noticed the tear.
"I am sorry that your parents aren’t quite like mine but I know you will make it thought it" Katie said with a reassuring smile.

Phoebe wiped her tear away quickly and cursed herself silently. She was sick of this.
"Whatever. Don't feel sorry for me. No one else bothers to." She said.

"But I care and I hate it when my friends are sad and don't think no one cares about them" Katie said with an almost disgusted look.
"I give people chances because I know there’s more to them" Katie said smiling at Phoebe.

Phoebe's mood had changed dangerously. She could feel it. Her anger was burning inside her like fire. She turned towards Katie.
"You gave me a chance? You gave me a chance? HA! I gave you the chance you little mudblood. I wish that when those young Slytherin girls tripped you would have stayed there and drowned. At least then you'd be with the dirt where you belong you dirty little mudblood." She sneered angrily at Katie. She didn't care what Katioe said back. She didn't care if it made Katie mad. Phoebe was angry and she had no one else to take her anger out on.

Katie felt a little anger rise within herself.
"Yeah well I wished I could I died a couple years ago but I guess not and I didn’t give you a chance because I knew you were kind I said I give people chance I didn’t partially mean you.” Katie almost screamed at her.
She took a deep breathe and glared at Phoebe she wasn’t going let anyone run over her like that.

Phoebe had the urge to slap Katie but did not instead she glared back.
"Well why don't you go jump into the lake? At least one of us will be happy then. I should have never tried to be friends with a spoiled mudblood like you." She said as she spat on Katie as if she was nothing but a piece of dirt. She stood up quickly.
"you do not belong here. You are not worth being called a wizard. You are nothing, nothing but a bratty little mudblood who's mudblood mother died!" Phoebe said angrily.
Phoebe paused for a second and blinked. She couldn't figure out why she was acting like that. She looked at Katie but couldn't see her face. She hated when her moods changed like that. She sat down again by Katie not sure wether or not she should still be there or not.

"How dare you call me selfish look at yourself look how your acting. I don’t care is you call me Mudblood I could care less. And I will jump in that lake right now" Katie screamed and stomped down to the lake.
She reached the lake and looked back at Pheobe and glared at her before jumping in.

Phoebe screamed as she saw Katie jump in the lake. She looked around and saw no one. She quickly threw off her robes and striped down until she was just wearing her skirt and shirt. She ran into the water and jumped in. She looked frantically for Katie. Phoebe knew she was a good swimmer but she knew this was not a good time to be boasting about that.
She swam deeper into the water when she saw Katie.

Katie opened her eyes under the water and saw Phoebe. But than she noticed something grabbed her foot and dragged her down.
Katie mind was racing as she tried to reach her wand. She tried and tried but it was too far in her pocket. She than looked at the thing that was dragging her down. It was a grindylow she knew the charm but she didn’t have her wand.
Katie could feel her lungs on fire again and looked up at Phoebe. She was trying to scream help from under water.
"I have to get to my wand" Katie thought desperately reaching for her wand. She than could feel it and grab it.
"Relashio" Katie screamed with the last breathe of air she had. A few bubbles came from her wand and the creature let go and katie tried to swim to the top.

Phoebes eyes widened as she saw a grindylow grabbing at Katies leg. She swam closer and took out her wand and said as spell just as Katie did. She glared at the grindylow and swam to teh top as well.
"What is you're problem! You nearly scared me half to death! Don't DO that AGAIN!" She said making sure she was keepign herself a float.
"Are you okay?" She asked Katie worried.

Katie took a deep breathe and nodded her head. She swam towards the ground and climbed up and laid down panting.
Katie has never gone through anything like that in her life. She could feel her heart beat so fast. She noticed that Phoebe also came up to the surface.
"Sorry I often do that allot" Katie said in-between pants.

Katie smiled she never done a stupid thing like that in her life.
"Alright lets go" Katie said swimming to the shore. When she reached it she plumed down and took deep breathes. Her mussels were aching so much and her heart skipped beats. She was very lucky she reached her wand or else she wouldn’t be here right now.
Katie looked at Phoebe she also look as tried as her and gave her an uneasy smile. She was glad Phoebe went into the water after her that showed true friend traits.

Phoebe smiled. She looked at Katie and sighed. She hoped that the younger girl would not get sick. She looked at her closely. She sighed and took out her wand and conjoured a blanket and put it gently over Katie. She looked at Katie again and, in an attempt to making sure she'd stay warm, Phoebe conjuered up done hot chocolate for Katie. After making sure Katie was okay and situated Phoebe grabbed her robes and things and put them back on.
When Phoebe got done she sat down quietly and hugged her knees. She looked out into the lake silently.
"Look, I'm sorry." Phoebe said after a while keeping her eyes locked on the lake.

Katie than got up and sat next to Phoebe and also conjured her blanket and hot chocolate. Katie wrapped the blanket around phoebe and sat her coco right next to her.
Katie couldn’t let phoebe sit there and be cold as she was warm.
"It's okay I should have never jumped in the lake it was a stupid thing I did...." Katie said. She then pulled her legs under her and looked at the lake also.
