Bee walked into the courtyard, feeling a cool breeze lift her blond hair. She walked quickly over to an empty table and sat down. The sun was covered by a cloud, which made everything in shadow. Bee sighed and grabbed a random book out of her heavy bag. She wanted to study, just in case. The book she had picked was by far the heaviest and the most boring. Bee was almost asleep in two minutes. She kept on reading the same line over and over again. Finally, she gave up and put the book back. She got up and went to a water fountain.
She put her hands in to cool them off. Then, she cupped some water in her hands and splashed it on her face. It felt cool and refreshing. Bee was awake now, and she felt like talking to someone. She walked slowly back toward the empty table and sat down. Bee took out a an apple from her back and started chewing. It tasted great and the sun had come out behind the cloud. It lighted up the whole courtyard, which made Bee's mood lighten considerably. She slouched down in the chair to become more comfortable and closed her eyes.

Amelia walked through the halls of Hogwarts, her book bag skung over one shoulder and her books held tightly across her chest, her chin resting against the top of her favorite story notebooks. She sighed with content, a hint of shyness could be heard. She walked down the large first floor staircasem automatically skipping over the trick stair. She causiously looked around for Peeves... that little... she sighed again, more frustrated now at the thought of that monster. Memories of Peeves suddenly flooded her mind. Having water balloons fall on her head, spears and other obvious weapons thrown at her.
Amelia paused at the foot of the last stair and contemplated where she should go. Boredom had driven her from the Common Room/her favorite place in the world. With the lions painted on the walls and the confortable couches with the crackling fire. Tonight the students had flooded the Common Room and given Amelia absolutely no peace and quiet for her writting. Even her dorm mates were being loud. She had decided on roaming the halls after she couldn't find a spot to write. First she had tried the library, but Madam Pince was being... short today. Amelia resorted to roaming around trying to find a nice place.
After the slight pause, she finally decided on the courtyard. It was always nice and quiet this time of day. She walked out the door and walked into the coutyard. No other student was out there but one girl. Amelia recognized her as Bridget, a Gryffindor who was only a year younger than Amelia, sat on a bench eating an apple. Amelia walked up to her, the same shyness clearly written on her face.
"H... hey Bee...." she said with a shy smile.

Bee was absentmindedly chewing on her apple when someone approached her. Bee jumped and looked around to see Amelia standing there. She had met Amelia in the common room before and she was a very nice girl but a bit shy. Being a year older than Bee, she thought that Amelia would be less shy, but everyone is different on that subject. Bee smiled up at Amelia.
"Hey Amelia. Would you like to sit down?" Bee asked kindly, pointing toward the seat next to her. "It's a nice evening, isn't it? I really enjoy it out here, when there's a nice breeze and not a lot of people around, you know?" She settled down more comfortably in her chair and smiled at Amelia once more.

Amelia smiled her shy smile and nodded when Bee asked her to sit. She sat down next to Bee and set her books down beside her feet, taking hold of her wand as Bee talked, she conjoured up a chocolate frog as her own little snack. She turned to Bee as the girl finished her comment on the courtyard. After taking a bite of her chocolate frog, she nodded in agreement with Bee and smiled, looking down a bit.
"Yes, I do love this time of day. It's nearly perfect for writing," As Amelia finished her own comment, she wondered if Bee knew that she wrote stories. Amelia shrugged mentally and took another bite of her chocolate frog.

Bee smiled at Amelia and took out yet another apple from her bag. She was going to offer it to Amelia, but she had gotten her own snack. Bee shrugged and started chewing nonchalantly on the apple. It tasted sour and Bee realized it was one of the green apples that were very sour. She pursed her lips, swallowing the over-sour bite she had bit off. She shook her head a bit and then listened to what Amelia was saying. She had just said that she wrote stories. Bee never knew that Amelia wrote stories. She tilted her head slightly to the left.
"Really? That's great! What do you write about?" Bee asked taking another bite of sour apple. "My mom use to write all the time. She was a muggle and she wanted to be an inventor. She would take notes on everything that she thougth was interesting and write a small essay about it." Bee smiled with amusement. Her mother was no longer alive, but Bee still thought it funny that Marge had wanted to be an inventor. She would have been great on it too, if she had ever gotten to it. Marge had died when she was a young woman, seeing as she gave birth to Bee at age 18. Bee shuddered and forced a smile for Amelia. She wasn't too keen on the subject, and she hoped Amelia would start talking about her writing.

((Sorry it took so long to reply guys....hehe...))
Katrina slouched down the stairs. With her bag slumped over her shoulder, she walked around the school, looking for a place to read one of her books she brought from London. She knew the common room was very noisy. She won't be able to read there. She thought of the Great Hall, but it would probably be full of students waiting for something to eat. So that only left...the Courtyard. Katrina nearly flew there, hoping i wasn't full. It didn't take long before she got there and found it wasn't really full. She looked around and found a table with two Gryffindors sitting there. She walked over to them and saw Amelia and another girl she didn't know. "Hi Amelia! Watcha doing? Mind if I sit down?" She pointed at the seat opposite them and looked back at them, hoping they would agree.

((It's alright Kat! And.... Didn't you meet Bee in the common room? )) Bee looked up as a girl walked into the Courtyard and asked if she could sit by them. Bee thought she had met this girl from somewhere before, the common room, maybe? She couldn't remember her name anyway, so maybe it was better if she just pretended she had never met her before. She smiled brilliantly at the girl. "Sure, I'm fine if you sit here!" She smiled again and then looked at the girls robes. She was a Gryff, so that meant that they could have met in the common room before. She looked a year or two younger than Bee and Amelia was in fourth year so she was right in the middle. Bee took another huge chunk out of her apple. What is her name?! I know I met her somewhere! Bee thought with frustration. Was it Kathryn? Katy? She was just about to give up when the name hit her. Katrina! "You're Katrina, right? I think we've met before somewhere, I just can't remember where...." She smiled again and then looked out to the lake which was shining beautifully.

((oh yeah! We did....sorry i forgot 'bout that....been too busy And don't say I didn't warn you, but the post I'm writing now is a bit stupid... ) Katrina waited. Sitting down without permission sounded impolite, and she didn't want that. Soon, she heard the words coming out from Bee's mouth, telling her she could sit. "Thanks." She sat down, and looked at her. She was a Gryffindor, a year older than herself by the looks of it, and she looked familiar. "Yeah, I think we have met before....I think it was in the common room, when we were really bored and had nothing to do...yeah! That's it! We met in the common room!" Giving Bee her innocent Gryffindor look, she smiled at her and said, "Well, if we have met before, we don't need the introductions! So, what do you guys want to do?" She saw Bee looking towards the lake, and an idea popped into her head. "Bee, Amelia! Do you guys know how to swim? Why don't we have a swim in the lake?" She wondered how they would reply. It sounded like a good idea to her. "And besides, not too sunny and not too windy...It's just right to go for a swim."

((It's alright. Don't worry about that. I like how you made up for it in your post. )) Bee smiled at Kat. "Yeah, I think you're right. The common room. That's right." Bee absentmindedly twirled her hair between her fingers. She still was looking at the shimmering lake when Kat said something about swimming. Bee laughed before she could stop herself. She then grinned at Kat. "I can swim really good. Plus, you're right. The weather's perfect for a nice swim. How about you, Amelia? Can you swim?" Bee giggled at the prospect and waited for an answer. She hoped Amelia could swim, since it would be lots of fun to do so. She waited patiently for the answer. This'll be so much fun if Amelia can swim!
