Agnes flicked over a page, sending the snow that had landed there scattering into the air. It was getting dark outside and she was struggling to read in the half-light.
All around her the start of the evening snow was beginning to appear, about to add to the carpet that already lay on the earth. In the grounds she could see the sillouhettes of snowmen in the far distance, slightly dishevelled from a few hours of melting.
Agnes glanced upwards to the steely sky, her vision clouded by the descending snowflakes. She smiled serenely to herself, thinking how beautiful the whole sitiuation was....

Dana brushed her gloves off of snow – she had been helping a first year with some charm work, and they had decided to bring the tutoring lesson out into the snow. And naturally in the end they had ended up in a snow-ball war, so they were both laughing and grinning as they trudged back towards the castle, going through the courtyard.
Dana noticed that the lace of her boot had come undone, so she sent the first year in ahead of her, while sitting down herself to retie the lace. Dana glanced at the other girl who was sitting rather close to her and smiled - the evening was serene and quiet and absolutely lovely. Deciding she wasn’t quite ready to go inside yet, Dana smiled standing up and stretching, before grinning at the other girl: “Hey, sorry to bother you, but I forgot my watch into my dormitory, so do you happen to know the time by any chance?”
Dana loved the slowly falling snow and decided to maybe stick around for long enough to see the stars coming out.

Jasmine was quite happy at the moment. It was late at night and she was taking a break from studying. Walking outside she was hoping to met Vanessa or another good acutance. A smile was on her face as she continued down the snow cover paths. Throwing on her long black jacket she button it up all the way and pulled a Ravenclaw colored scarf over her neck. It was chilly outside and it did not seem to get any better. Wasn’t spring supposed to emerge by now? Jasmine did not all the answers to her questions. Rubbing her hands together she pulled on some white colored mittens and cleared her throat. When ever Jasmine was in a good mood she would sing and act a little silly. It was just a habit of hers that could not be broken.
"One less call to answer, feeling full of despair, don't think I can get through it, just one last prayer.
*And it's a leap of faith, when you believe there's someone out there, it's a leap of faith when you believe that someone cares, oh, and when I call out to you, will you be right there, right there.
Searching for the answer, nobody seems to care, Oh how I wish that you were here, beside me, to wipe away my tears.
*And it's a leap of faith, when you believe there's someone out there, it's a leap of faith when you believe that someone cares, oh, and when I call out to you, will you be right there, right there." She sang out not leting her voice die. Jasmine had a beautiful voice and was not afarid to just let it out.
Lana always told her to use her gift to advantage and singing got her places. It was one of the many similarities towards her and Vanessa, Jasmine best friend. The two were quiet and loved music very much. Vanessa played many instruments and Jasmine was a beginner player to the piano and was beginning to love it very much. Continuing to walk down the path she noticed a couple people to the distance. One person was Dana Coran but the other she did not. A smile formed on her face as she walked over towards them and sat down next to Dana. "Good night everyone one. Now what may bring all of you outside so late and in the snow?" She asked looking up into the sky.
((sorry for this post not being very good. I am not in a posting mood at the moment.))

Agnes smiled as Dana spoke and was about to reply when the person who had before just been a figure in the distance, walked closer. She was singing as she came towards them.
"Hey," Agnes greeted with a shy smile at them both, "I'm Agnes. You have a beautiful voice by the way."

“Hey, Jasmine,” Dana looked up at hearing Jasmine’s voice and smiled, “I have to agree with Agnes – you do have a great voice. You really should hold a concert at school. And that other girl, uh what was her name. Vanessa! Right – I’ve heard her and she’s good as well – you two should hold a concert here. Nice ot meet you Agnes, by the way.”
“What brings us out. Don’t know about Agnes, but I was helping a first year with her charms and we brought the tutoring session here. Ended up having a snow-ball fight with the first year after the session and didn’t feel like going in just yet, so here I am, “Dana grinned brightly. Dana was not the typical Racenclaw in the sense that she loved to be out and having fun as much as she liked to learn new things. She was a lot more active than a lot of people in her house, so she wasn’t the top of her year, but not far from it either.
Dana finished tying her bootlace and let her head fall as she sat on the bench. “Tonight is just gorgeous, so I figured I might stick around outside until the stars come out.” Dana let her eyes follow some late owl, flying towards the castle and smiled. Dana preferred spring and summer to winter and fall, but she liked it out at that precise moment, “And you? Looking for someone special or just wandering around?”
Jasmine smiled at the third year as Dana told her that her name was Anges. "Its nice to met you Anges. I am Jasmine Anderson same year and house as Dana over here." Jasmine said with a smile and looked up into the darkened sky. It was so beautiful and the stars were out. It was quite a sight to see, and she could just drawl and sing about it. Jasmine was an artistic person thanks to the infulences in her past. Swinging her legs over the edge Jasmine let the wind pick up her black hair and flow. A chiver went up her back but she was not yet to go inside. It was way to beautiful outside.
Dana than asked why she was out here. Looking at her friend she smiled and her eyes twinkled, "How did yeah know I was looking for some one?" She asked pushing her friends shoulder lightly and giggling. Jasmine was in a good mood and she normally acted more not her but still a way people liked it. Only Vanessa had seen her hyper before.

Dana was a bit surprised, when Jasmine giggled, but grinned at her in return none the less. Dan liked it when people were happy: “How did I guess it? Well, why not? Call me crazy, but meeting someone nice would make this evening perfect. I met you two here, so I’m happy, but some couple on some roof-top or some secluded corner may have just the right touch of romance today. It may sound arrogant, but there are some cute guys in the school. Even though some of them seem to have rather horrid personalities. They are good to have your eyes rest on from far though.”
Dana smiled and sniffled lightly: “I like snow, but I really dislike the cold that comes with it. As far as I’m concerned spring could come right after New Year.”
((I should be working on my project that’s worth 140 points! But I am taking a break. My partner is not doing anything! Grr))
Jasmine smiled at Dana and listened to her story intently. It seemed that maybe Dana was looking for a guy of her own. Looking off into the sky she watched the snow dance towards the ground. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath, to take in the cold night air. It was defiantly a cold night, but enjoyable. Normally Jasmine would be inside at the moment, studying, or writing a song, but it was time for her to be more sociable with her friends. A thought of Vanessa came to her mind. The two had not seen each other in a long time, but Jasmine was glad her best friend found other friends as well. "I well see her at the talent show." Jasmine told herself in a quiet whisper, like a mouse scurrying across the room.
"I know what you mean Dana. I love the snow but right now I am waiting for spring to come warm things up. What about you Agnes, do you like the snow?" Jasmine asked looking at the younger girl with a warm smile on her face. Pulling her coat more on her body, she listened to the silence of the night. It was peaceful at night, and just a right time for her to think. In the summers Jasmine would swing on the bench and look up into the star filled sky. There was something about that thought that made her at peace.

((this is unfortunatley true))

“Eh, I like snow to some-extent, but I prefer spring and summer a lot more,” Dana answered brushing away some snow-flake that had landed on her cheek, “Three timed you? What, was he blind? Or just stupid? Or suffering from inborn poisoning of testosterone?”
Dana shook her head and rolled her eyes: “I swear I don’t even want to know what goes on in guys heads from time to time. But I wouldn't want to live without htem either. I like them as friends and they look cute form time to time. Besides being irreplaceable help, when trying to move in the muggle world. As for getting into a more serious relationship, I want someone who can sweep me off my feet and keep my knees weak during the relationship. So some brains and tolerable personality are required.”
Dana pondered about it for a moment: ”And not looking like a monster wouldn’t hurt either. I know the real beauty is inside, but it’s a whole lot easier to get to know that inner beauty, if you at least take care of yourself nicely.”
"That’s terrible Agnes. I am so sorry. But you know you well find love soon right? Maybe you’re just a little too young. For me I am just taking my time to bloom and enjoy being single at the moment." Jasmine said as he checks started to get a little warm. She did like some one but she didn’t know if she should tell Dana and a person who she did not know very well. Looking back up into the sky, Jasmine watched the snow fall down and dance towards the grounds. "I've always had this weird dream. It’s about some one I hold dear and close and me. We are both swinging on a bench and he has his arms wrapped around me. I feel safe from the world behind me. He than whispers in my ear 'I love you'. I know it’s just a dream in my imagination. But it feels so real." Jasmine said blushing even more as she told her deepest secret.

Dana listened to Jasmine telling about her dream, and smiled softly. It sounded absolutely awesome. Something nice and comfortable. Just because Dana herself was rather quick and wouldn’t need much romance, when she could just count on the guy, didn’t mean she didn’t like romance from time to time. “That dream sounds lovely,” Dana said with a sincere smile appearing on her face, “About someone you hold dear? Does that mean you already know? Your blush seems to hint on it as well,” Dana winked and poked out her tongue for a moment, “I knew I should have gotten you into a ‘Truth or dare’ game. It’s almost unfair to keep the poor guy – whoever you like or will like – waiting for you already.”
Dana smiled once again – the dream had been absolutely adorable and Dana liked it. She just hoped Jasmine didn’t took offence of her easy tone – that was just Dana. Maybe it was because she herself had never been in love or even crushing on anyone, even though she had her fair share of dates, or that Dana was just always on the go and happy, that she liked joking and teasing like that. “But it must be awesome to have a dream like that though. Get you started for the day with positive emotions,” Dana said in a more serious tone, with her smile never leaving her face.

"I used to have a dream were i could fly and i felt so real! At the moment boys can just leave off I kinda like being single, You dont have to make time for them or not look at other guys!! " Agness thought of all the times when she was suposed to go on a date but just wanted to slob at home! "Boys huh! Well they can just wait" Agness said a she watched the dainty snowflakes dance whilst falling tho the ground.
