The sun was shining and Elina was enjoying it. Her mind was wandering as she weaved in and out of the flower beds in the courtyard. Her long blue skirt blowing swiftly behind her, the wind carrying her hair away as well. It smelled of lilacs and daffodils, the scent reminded her of old times past, and it made her smile in warmth and happiness. The sun continued to shine down and make her hair look glossy as she traveled through the courtyard, quite happy and serene. Then the wind blew harder, and the sun was clouded by dark clouds, and rain poured. Elina stood there, her face turned towards the now blocked out sun, letting the rain cover her.
"Ah, well, not everything's perfect." She muttered. Not leaving from her spot. Elina just stood there, letting the rain soak her through and through. And since the sound was so deafening she didn't hear someone come up behind her.

Cass wandered the courtyard aimlessly. This was the first time in days she had left the common room. Needing the respite, she left the common room to wander. After a few moments outside, it started to rain. " Crap."
She really couldn't believe this. Noticing someone else in the distance, she walked toward them. Since she was already wet, she might as well be wet with some company. She recognized the girl, and ran up to her friend. " Ellina! Long time no see. I met your sister. Goodness, she is hyper, but I like her all the same. So, why are you stuck in the rain? Me, I don't have enough sense to come out of it."

Elina jumped nearly a foot as Cass spoke to her. She laughed and wiped at some water running down her face. As Cass mentioned Ashley, Elina couldn't help but smile, "Yeah. She's a handful alright." Elina commented with a laugh. She loved Ash to death but, that girl could annoy anyone to hell and back again.
"It was sunny moments ago. Then it sort of. Died. Not, so nice now. I kinda miss the sunniness." Elina replied to Cass asking why she was stuck in the rain, "Didn't want to leave. Figured that the sun would come back. Still think it might." She answered, she turned from looking at the sky, to looking at Cass. "Wanna go someplace dry?" She asked.

Cass giggled. " It would probably be better, but the rain is so much fun, don't you think? We could get into a lot of trouble out here." She pointed to a shelter not far off.
" Wanna head over there?" She ran over to the shelter waiting for her friend to meet her there. " I can't believe the freak weather we are having. One moment it's sunny, and then its raining frogs." She smiled. " Kind of apropo for witches."
She pulled of her cloak and began to wring it out. " We are never going to dry out. I hope none of your books got ruined. You know, this was the first time I ever saw you without one."

Elina nodded and headed over to the shelter, "Oh, yeah. Rain fun! Until that is, it gives you pneumonia. Not so fun then." She said with a small giggle. She pulled out her wand, tapped her head, and muttered a drying charm. Watching Cass wring out her cloak. She smiled.
"Me? Without a book? Ah, yes, that's becoming more common lately." Elina responded, "What about you? What you doing out here?" Elina leaned against the wall and smiled at Cass, someone she felt like she could actually talk to.

" Oh me. I had to escape the common room. You know Gryffs, we've just got to be in each other's business. Like family that way." She slipped of her shoes that exposed her bare feet that occupied them.
" I just had to escape that " Are you okay, Cassie? I know your life is sucking right now.' I really wish they would just leave me alone sometimes. I'm not going to like go crazy overnight or something."
She looked up at the storming sky. " This looks pretty bad. We will probably be stuck out here awhile." She twisted her black curly hair and wrung it out. " I know my hair is going to look like one frizzy, puffy mess after this. I really need some of that Sleek-Eazy stuff I saw in Hogsmeade. The three of us, well you, me, and your sister, should go shopping sometime. Create some problems in Hogsmeade."
