Saturdays weren't always that for Riku. She usually would spend her mornings running and after that she would always find something else to do. Today, however, seemed different.
"How'd you know that?" Riku asked him, his comment sparking her interest. She hadn't told anyone about her trying out for quidditch. Though, it probably wouldn't be much of a surprise, seeing as Riku was pretty athletic.
"Well, let's see. Since I'm way better at jogging than you, why don't we do something more your style," Riku said with a smirk.

"I heard it through the grape vine." Which wasn't true. He'd watched everyone secretly as they tried out to see if he'd have any competition as beater. "Well, not that it's a sport, but I like to pour poison into the goblets of Slytherins. That was a joke. I actually like to play wizards chess and I'd like to have a duel. As I said before, nobody wants to say that narrows it down to chess."

"Grapevine..." Riku said with a raised eyebrow. She didn't believe him, yet she wasn't going to tell him that. She listened to him continue to talk.
"Why do you hate them so much?" Riku asked him. She didn't laugh at his "joke" nor did she crack a smile. She rolled her eyes as she listened to him.
"Whatever. I have a- well, I have to go," Riku said as she grabbed her things.

"Inside. Unless you have a reason for me to stay out, I see no point," Riku said her voice sharp with annoyance.
Looking up at the sky, Riku sighed. She didn't know why she got so offended. She didn't know why her mood changed so quickly.

Robert stood there. "Well, I guess I might be meeting Cassandra a little early." I guess she took this defend the evil ones really seriosly. "See you later..." Robert mumbled. I doubt she'll want to.

Riku watched as Robert walked past her. She bit her lip, her feelings began to change. She sighed.
"Wait," Riku said softly. "I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong me."
Riku sighed once more and put her bag down. She looked at her tennis shoes, not looking up. She didn't know if he had walked away or not.

Robert froze. He didn't mean it. He was just kidding. She sure did take things seriosly and why was she so protective of Slytherins? He slowly turned around to see Riku staring at her shoes. "I'm sorry too."

Riku looked up to hear Robert say he was sorry. She gave him a smile.
"Friends?" Riku said softly. She bit her lip, awaiting his reply.

Riku smiled at Robert. She had no idea on what they could do.
"Do you really want someone to do a duel with you? I mean, I will if you can't find anyone else," Riku said to him with a shurg. She had never really dueled before. There's always a first for everything.

Robert hadn't technicaly dueled anything besides the piles of ash where some trees used to be. "Oh, it'll be fun." He felt bad about askng her and it didn't seem like she wanted to, but it was to late. She practically agreed.
