Dana laughed out loud as Ed told him about his mistake when he apparated into her sisters bed-room. “Well, be thankful it wasn’t your sisters bathroom. Or that your sister wasn’t changing clothes. Then again – be glad you didn’t appear at some strangers bedroom… Think of all the different possibilities to get oneself killed,” Dana giggled out at the mere thought.
Dana smiled almost sheepishly as Ed mentioned the water-bucket again. “Well, what could have you done to escape the water? Even though luckily you took it better than I might take it when someone dumped a bucket of water on me. Especially if I was wearing white or some clothes I like or clothes that are new.”
Dana listened to Ed’s future plans and shrugged: “Well, I partly agree with you, partly don’t. I don’t think I would stand being cooped up behind a table every day. I know I’ll be taking over my grand-parents book-shops one day, but there I can also browse other stores and communicate with costumers and be more active. I will have to spend hours behind a table but I have a chance to get out just as often.”
Dana shrugged – she could be found outside doing something active as often as with her nose buried in some book.

Ed looked a bit worried at this. “Actually, I prefer not to think about that.” He shivered slightly. Just the thought of suddenly popping in on his sister while she was changing was enough to gross him out. Than there was the thought of just popping up at someone house. What’s if they called the authorities? His parents wouldn’t bail him out. He laughed as they got back to the bucket again. “Well, like I said, accidents happen.” He added muttering slightly, “To me all the time.”
“Well, I could have moved, dove to the side, or something.” He listened to her talk about how she probably wouldn’t be able to stand being cooped up behind a desk. He merely shrugged. “Well, I could probably do it. I’m not to great when I’m active, and people skills isn’t one of my fortes either.” He shrugged again. “Probably the most active thing I can do is be a librarian maybe. I’ve gotten a few requests from Madam Pince for me to be her assistant on some days.”
Dana couldn’t help but laughed again at Ed’s face, when he thought about appearing into her sisters room: “You are a funny guy, you know that? And funny in a good way. And laughing is good for one’s health.”
“Well, like I said, accidents happen. To me all the time.” Ed muttered to herself, causing Dana to raise a skeptical eye-brow: “As I was once told – accidents don’t happen. They must be carefully planned. Besides I have my fair share of accidents as well. If I keep stumbling or falling, then I’m going to dent the floors around this place at one point.” Actually Dana was rather graceful and had good balance. She only stumbled and fell or flew down the stair-cases when she was reading. Maybe after 5 years at Hogwarts she should have already learned that walking I n a castle with uneven floors at some places or moving staircases wasn’t very safe, but Dana still walked around with her nose buried in a book from time to time. ”And I don’t even want to think about everything that can happen at Quidditch. I still don’t know what came over me, when I tried out for the team,” Dana muttered sourly.
“Well, you are patient then. I need fresh air and activities. And I need them a lot. But you – well, you must be good at it, when Madam Pince wanted your help. Think you are going to help her?” Dana asked curiously with a tilt of her head.

Ed arched an eyebrow at her. "Oh really? Carefully planned huh? I wonder whos planning my accidents. Id really like to have a little chat with him." He thought of what she had just said. Funny in a good way. Was there really a way for someone to be funny in a bad way. Well, he guessed so, looking funny really wasnt a good funny. He laughed as she talked about her stumbling and falling. He looked at her. her falling? No way, she had a well toned body. Dana looked like a pretty well balanced girl.
She suddenly commented on Quidditch. He turned a curious eye on her. "Quidditch? I havent seen you in any of the games? Did you just try out? I saw a notice saying they needed some players. Of course, I never even dreamed of trying out. No way I would do a load of good on a broom. I mean, I can fly, but not as skillfully as most Quidditch players."
He quietly thougt about this question. He wasnt liked by a lot of people. The bullies had enough ammo against him. If he was to help out Madame Pince, a very disliked lady, He would never hear the end of it. He shook his head. "Nah, I dont think I will. I mean, I might do some oddjobs, but never full out assistant work."

Dana laughed at Ed’s quick and rather witty reply to the comment about planned accidents. She was feeling quite comfortable around Ed – he was easy to talk to. “Yup, just tried out. Couldn’t even ride a broom before this year. Ironic, considering that I have been brought up practically as a pure-blood. So I pretty much had a crash-course given by my cousin and somehow managed to end up in the team,” Dana pondered about the fact how she had even thought about trying out. Mainly thanks to friends influences, but it was still weird to think of it. She and playing quidditch. A couple of months ago Dana would have laughed at anyone who even suggested such a possibility. “Surprisingly I’m best as seeker. I make an alright keeper as well though. Just keep the bludgers away from me and I can’t fly with the quaffle like chasers are supposed to,” Dana analyzed herself calmly and honestly.
Nodding slowly at Ed’s explanation about helping madam Pince, Dana nodded. She understood the older boy’s reasonings in her head even though she herself had never faced the same problem. “Well, I see your point. Never really have been bullied much myself though. Girls I can handle myself – even the so threaded ‘Queens’ can’t really hold much against me and most guys aren’t too tough either. And if things get too hard for me, then I can ask help from my cousin. Brother. Best friend.” Dana shrugged – Kris really was fit to all three categories she had named and even more, “He’s a mean guy and strong both physically and mentally with a quick wand. He is rather protective though.”
Dana shrugged – Kris might bully people from time to time, but he would die for Dana. “I’m rather lucky. In my family part I mean. My grand-parents are awesome and I couldn’t really ask for much more, I basically have a brother and an almost sister also in Hogwarts. Yup, I’m certainly lucky,” Dana concluded with a fond smile on her face, as she thought about her family.
