Today was a Saturday and the sun was not yet to rise. Ashley was sitting on the ground outside awaiting for the early morning rays. She always loved to watch the sun rise and set. It was just an extraordinary thing to watch. The colors in the shy that seemed to make her blue eyes sparkle. Hugging a book in her arms and waited patiently for the sun to rise. It was very early in the morning and it was still a little dark out, but that didn’t stop her for wanting to watch the magnificent site. Ashley was an outgoing person and always loved to have fun. Her sense of humor took her many places with friends. But most people when they see her think of her as an annoying little child. But Ashley wouldn’t always social, she would read books to calm her self down, ice skate, play the piano, and dance. Ashley knew a lot of dances from the tango to salsa to hip hop she knew it all. But her passion was skating. Ashley's father would call her 'Ice Princess' because she could not keep her feet off the ice. There was just something about skating that made her feel at home and peaceful. It was like a warm summer day floating the sea. Hearing the birds make their songs and the swooshing of the water.
Her breathe caught short as the morning rays peeked through the horizon. The clouds became orange and looked very beautiful. Ashley face lit up and her eyes sparkled more than ever. Extending her legs in front of her she opened her journal to a fresh clean page. Ashley was not much of a poet but loved to write. She loved to write many short stories and was even working on her very own novel. Ashley influences in life were her father and sister. David Hill was a successful business man and owned a great restaurant. For her mother she was a professional chief and now helped run the restaurant called 'Along the vine hill'. It only served Italian food since her father was a little Italian but earned her degree in business management in New York. Ashley looked up to her father for his much business success and also looked up to her sister Elina Hill, who also went to Hogwarts but was two years older than her. Elina was a smart girl and always followed the rules. One thing that Ashley was working on with her sister. Despite their differences they are still tight and she would do anything in the world to protect her sister.
Clicking the end of her pen she began to write. The story was told in first person and was about this one girl who had a dream to skate and see the world, but was hold down from a poor family. The girl name was Libby Dashwood and was the same age as Ashley. Libby grew up in a family of seven and never got to have time to her self. At night she would have to sleep on the flour in the kitchen because her brothers and sisters were in the bed. Her mother was a waitress at a local diner and her father was an inspiring artist, so there was not much money in the family. Libby is the in the middle and also has to work in a dinner to pay off for her skating lessons and dance. She did not have very many friends but still had her family to carry her one. That was all Ashley had in mind as she continued to write.
