New faces ((Anyone))

Caiya bounced happily out of bed. It was a weekend and she fully intended to enjoy it. After all what fun is having a weekend if you didn't have fun? She quickly dressed and shoveled down some breakfast. After breakfast she got up and tried to decide what to do from there. She could go outside but she was always doing that and it was starting to loose it's appeal. After all you could only climb trees and skip rocks so many times before it became boring and extremely repetitive. She tried to think of something new to do. She didn't want to go to hogsmeade. Everyone did that and it was always so crowded there.

Caiya decided to try the Student Lounge after all she'd never been there before and who knew maybe she'd meet some new faces. Caiya hummed a tune to a muggle band she was familiar with as she made her way to the room. Once there she peeked in. There was a fair few people in the room. Bouncing in happily she said hello to everyone before flopping down on a comfy couch and pulling out a book called Battle Royale.

Dafydd opened his eyes. He had been trying for the last 15 minutes to go back to sleep, but it was just no use. Pushing the covers off of him he placed his feet on the floor and got up. The others in his dorm were still sleeping, so he tried to be as quiet as possible.

Daf quickly changed into some robes and made his way down into the common room. There were a few people there, but he figured most of the Ravenclaws were either sleeping, or down eating breakfast.Well, I tried sleeping, that didn't work. Looks like I'll have to go and eat instead.

Dafydd walked down the hall toward the Great Hall, his hand lightly going across the stone wall of the old castle. Just before he got to the doors, he changed his mind and decided to go to the student lounge instead.

When he got there he decided that there weren't to many people in there, so he would join them. Daf made his way toward a couch with a girl sitting on it. Sitting down on the opposite end, he pulled up a stool and set his feet on it, and then lay his head back and closed his eyes.

Even though he wasn't tired enough to sleep, he was still tired.

Emma trotted innocently into the student lounge. She had been up bright and early that morning, and she looked it too. Her long sleek black hair bouncing in a high ponytail, she looked around the room. She wanted to read her new book, 'Pampering your Owl. Smiling at everyone, she sat down near a boy and a girl who were on a sofa. Smiling at them, she read her book.

Dafydd opened his eyes and brought his head up from the back of the couch, as he felt someone sit down beside him.

He nodded a 'hello' to her and put his head back down on the back of the couch.

Emma smiled as the boy nearby greeted her. It was short, but friendly, and she liked that. Turning her book to the page about Owls and their Toys, she glanced over at the other girl on the sofa. She too was reading a book, and Emma deciede to start a short conversation, since she new about what to get Armani toy wize.
"Hello! I'm a first year here, name's Emma. How about you?" She smiled once more.

Cougar had gotten up early. He didn't intend to, it just happened. He planned on sleeping till supper, but that was out of the question now. Once you're up you cant go back to sleep. He decided to get some breakfast.

The Great Hall was packed to the gill, so he decided to skip breakfast, and head directly to the student lounge in hope of meeting new people.

As Cougar walked in the student lounge, He noticed quite a few people, but decided that three of them caught his eye. Well, he grabbed a stool and pulled it up to these three, and sat beside the couch the others were residing in. He said "Hey" hoping to start a conversation.

Jessica entered and sat next to Couger that was on the stool. She stood quiet and gazed her eyes in his direction. She wondered if he would want to start a conversation with her. After 10 seconds of pure silence and awkardness Jessica spoke."So how's school?"

Daf listened as one of the girls spoke to the other girl. He also heard someone else drag up a stool and sit by him. He heard a male voice say hi. Assuming it was to the three of them, Daf brought his head back up and opened his eyes.

Smiling, Daf said hello back. "Daf Isaac." Daf stuck out his hand to the boy on the stool. "How are you?"

"Can't complain, Cougar Farmer."Cougar had said in reply to the boy who held out his hand. Cougarlooked around the lounge, and saw that there were quite a few other people in here. He hadn't noticed that before.

Cougar, noicing Dafydd who had his head down when Cougar came in, said, "Shouldn't you be in bed? I wouldn't blame you. I woke up early, and couldn't go back to sleep." Cougar waited for a reply

Alyson and the rest of the girls in her dorm were all busy that morning. She ducked as a third year threw a she across the room. She looked herself over in the body mirror and smiled that she did look her best. Her honey blonde hair out of the way in a pony-tail , revieling her ocean eyes. She wore a bit of make-up on her lips. Since it being it saturday she wore a blue top and a white skirt along with flip-flops.



She was on her way to breakfast but, changed her mind. Instead she walked to the student lounge she could always get an iced- hot choclate there. She stepped in with her signature smile. A group was huddled near the fires and Alyson went over to see what was up. " Hello, Mind if I jion the party?" She asked as she looked over the faces in the group.

Dafydd laughed in response to Cougar. "I know what that's like. It was the same for me."

While the two boys were talking, a girl with blonde hair came over. She waited for Daf to finish talking, smiling all the while, before asking if she could join in.

"Sure why not," Daf smiled back to her, "Pull up a chair."

Emma smiled at the girl she had talked to, and looked around. Several people had joined them-one girl she had seen before, and one she hadn't. Also two boy's came and sat with them. Emma was pleased. Shutting her book and setting it on her lap, she smiled at them all.

"Hi everyone, Cougar, Daffyd." Emma had a little trouble pronouncing the latter name. "I'm Emma, first year Ravenclaw."

Emma gave them both a smile-she thought hand shakes too formal. Sweeping her long black hair out of the way, she cursed it's straight silkness as it blew back into her face. All of her hair ties were in her room, and she didn't feel like leaving the room.

((It's spelled Dafydd lol. Just so you know, in case you wanted, it's pronounced dav-ith, the 'th' sound as in 'the'))


Emma closed her book and set it on her lap. "So what are you guys up to? I wish I could go into Hogsmeade, but I'm slightly lazy." Daf laughed. He wanted a new book, preferably for one of his favourite wizarding bands biographies, but anything would do really.

Ashley awoke to the sound of loud grunts coming from the bed beside her. Kelley, her roomate, was snoring again. Again! And this was the third weekend in a row that she had woken Ashley up.
'Great, now I'll never get back to sleep.' Thought Ashley grumpily as Kelley turned over in her sleep, mouth hanging wide open, a series of snorts echoing through the room.
Ashley hopped out of bed and looked into the mirror. She pulled back her long, sandy blonde hair into two french braids and lined her hazel eyes in smokey black eyeliner. It was the weekend, so she neednt wear her robes. Instead she slipped into a pair of red sweatpants and a grey baby tee. Humming to herself she slipped out through the common room and made her way to the Student lounge. Maybe she'd find someone to talk to, and maybe she could even buy a frappachino.

She entered the room and spotted a group of friendly seeming students sitting around eachother talking. She gave them a tentative smile, hoping that she could join them.

Alarice awoke to the sound of loud grunts coming from the bed beside her. Kelley, her roomate, was snoring again. Again! And this was the third weekend in a row that she had woken Alarice up.
'Great, now I'll never get back to sleep.' Thought Alarice grumpily as Kelley turned over in her sleep, mouth hanging wide open, a series of snorts echoing through the room.

Emma smiled at Dafydd ((betta? lol)) and replied with a sigh, "yeah, i haven't really been doing much lately- been sleeping real bad though. I'm not sure why... anyway, Hogsmeade is great, it's a shame we aren't allowed to go!"
Emma looked up at this moment, and saw a girl in red and grey standing near them. She was looking at the group with hopeful eyes, and Emma knew immiediatley that she wanted to join them. Although she looked a lot older than Emma, she liked the girl straight away, and gestured for her to come over. "I hope you don't mind" She muttered to the group.
