Sapphire put away her finished Potions essay and looked around the Student Lounge from her seat at a table near the edge of the room. It was fairly early on on a Saturday, so there weren't too many people in there. A few first years were playing some sort of game over by the fire, whilst there were other people studying and doing homework just as Sapphire was. A Gryffindor fifth year sat reading a book on a couch near the middle of the room. The exams were starting very soon, but Sapphire was here to complete the homework tasks which still kept on coming. Sapphire waved her wand apparently carelessly, causing a mug of steaming hot chocolate to appear on the dark stained wood table in front of her. She sipped at it cautiously, not wanting to burn her tongue. A little weakness of hers, was hot chocolate, but it always cheered her up and kept her going with her work.
Sapphire took out her Arithmancy books and turned to the rough piece of parchment slipped inside her Arithmancy textbook where she had scribbled revision tips from what Professor Vector had told them. In her concise handwriting, it told her exactly what she needed to learn. She would start with the things she had found most difficult. She didn't find them difficult, of course, no, that was entirely the wrong word. The things she had found... more challenging. She rested her finger on a particular topic and put a little dot by it to show she was starting it. She then found what she had written in her notes about it, complete with page references to her textbook, and started to read everything through thoroughly. It was just as well everyone in the Student Lounge was being so quiet and considerate at the moment. She would have been ill pleased had she been disturbed.
