Make new friends (Riku)

Rayne walked into the student lounge completely drenched. She had decided that a swim in the lake would be fun especially since it was warm enough out. She had just jumped into the lake still in her school things before she remembered that she didn't know a drying charm. Then to top it all off she couldn't for the life of her remember the commonroom password. So she dragged herself to the student lounge. Eventually she would have to see someone from her house and until then at least she would be kept cool since it was awfully warm in the castle.

As she entered the Student Lounge she got a few funny looks people probably wondering why she was soaked. She ignored them and made her way to a fairly empty corner. For such nice weather there seemed to be far too many people indoors.

She sat down on the floor not wanting to get the furniture wet. As she did a smart aleck Slytherin came up to her. "What happened you? Fall into a lake?" He asked snickering at his friends. Rayne rolled her eyes. He was trying to hard to be cool. "Actually I jumped in." She said ringing out her hair. Apparently the Slytherin didn't know how to respond for he beckoned to his friends and they left. "Good Ridance." She mumbled to no one in particular as she pulled her hair back into a ponytail.

It had been an immensely long morning for Riku so far. She had jogged and hung out with Robert. She even said she would duel him later. She walked slowly into the lounge and ploped into a chair.

Reading would probably help her relax her mind. That's what she needed. She took out her book from her bag, that she always seemed to carry around. She opened her manga to the begining page and began to read quietly.

She was interrupted however when she heard a male voice. "What happened you? Fall into a lake?" It said. A female voice followed with, "Actually I jumped in." Riku snorted to herself as she watched the boy walk away. "A failed suicide attempt?" Riku said softly to no one. She smirked to herself. She could so be a Slytherin.

"Morons," Riku muttered aloud accidently.

Rayne looked up as she heard a female voice say 'Morons.' Rayne smiled at the girl. "Yeah most Slytherins are or maybe it's just boys as they seem to cause the most trouble." She stood up and walked over to the girl. The student lounge seemed to have dried her off some as she wasn't dripping any more.

"My name is Rayne Gryffindor first year." She said holding out her hand. She noticed that the girl was reading something. "So whatcha reading?" She asked.
