Alexis sighed as she sat down heavily in one of the stuffed chairs beside the fire. Her skateboard fell to the floor next to the chair. She had been trying to skateboard in the courtyard but there were too many rocks ont he concrete path. She melted into the comfort of the chair, her eyes closing with exhastion from the cold and windy day. She sighed yet again and sat up closer to the fire, trying to warm her hands. She gave up with the fire and turned to look around the lounge. Few students were there. Some where playing Wizard Chess, others were just talking with friends. She sighed as sh elooked down at her skateboard. The style today was a neon green alien with a black and dark green swirling background. She looked up to the door as someone else entered.

Ivy sat in the Student Lounge, finishing off her Transfiguration essay despite the large buzz from the multitude of pupils who were in there. She finished off her last word with a flourish, put her name on the top, and rolled the two pieces of parchment up, securing them with a piece of string. Clutching it in her hand, she looked around to see whether there was anyone in the room she might have a quick chat with.
Most people seemed fairly busy already, and she didn't fancy joining the large groups of people, even though she did know some of them. There were a few people sitting on their own, mainly reading or doing homework. She didn't know many of them... wait, she did know Amelia. Ivy packed her quills and inkpot away and put her essay safely in her bag. She looked up again to check that it was Amelia. No... it wasn't Amelia, but yet it was. She looked almost exactly like Ivy's friend, but her pose was almost completely different. Ivy frowned, puzzled. She might as well go up to the girl and satisfy her curiosity - after all, it looked as though the girl was in her year.
Ivy flung her bag over her shoulder and made her way over all the potential tripping hazards other students had left lying about, until she arrived in front of the girl. "Mind if I sit here?" Ivy asked her, indicating the dilapidated armchair she was standing behind. She put her bag down next to it and smiled at the girl who looked so much like Amelia, but yet was not. "I'm Ivy Tunstall," she introduced herself, trying not to appear too awkward.

A girl walked over to Alexis and startled her. But she hid it as usual and looked up at her as the girl asked to sit near her. Alexis shrugged as if saying yes. The girl then introduced herself as Ivy Tunstall. She sighed softly and turned, she hated the intro's. She loved hanging out with friends, but introducing to eachother was always a pain... She put on a smile so that this Ivy person wouldn't feel like Alexis was rejecting her or anything because she most definatly wasn't!
"I'm Alexis Andea (pronounced Ahn-day-ah) Richardson," She wondered if Ivy had noticed that french accent deep within her voice and her smile became true as she looked into Ivy's eyes. She then sat back and took out her wand. She reached over the side of the chair and grabbed her skateboard. She checked to make sure no one was looking and thought up a new design for her skateboard. She titled her head from side to side wondering and contemplating. She then turned to Ivy.
"I don't know how to change it..." she said friendly, her accent heavy, "Any ideas?"
