Isabella woke up to a sudden jerk on her bed. Looking around the room she noticed that it was empty and cold. Pulling the covers over her gose bumped body she tried to stay warm. Why was the Slytherin common room so cold? Maybe it was because they were in the dudgeons and under the lake. Isabella never really knew and didn’t try to ask questions. Cuddling more in the blankets she rested the back of her head against the back board. Closing her eyes she pulled the covers more over her. All she could hear were the sounds of the wind howling on the windows still. It sound rather nice to the six-teen year old and all she did was smile. It wasn’t like this in Rome but some what the same. Isabella had once with in Rome with her mother, father, and two sisters. Now her parents are divorced and her oldest sister is tragically ill.
Tears stung her blue eyes and one rolled down her check. Jasmine was the only person who she could really relate too. Page would also love to hurt muggles and so did Jasmine but the older sister was more caring towards Isabella. Wiping the tear away from her check with the tip of her sleeve she sniffled. Her life was more confusing than ever now and she needs some one to talk to too. Some one who understand her pain and some one who could take it all away. Reopening her eyes she pulled the warm covers of her and put her bare feet on to the cold wooden flour. Walking towards a chair she took out a warm pair of socks. Putting them on her bare cold feet she looked out the window. It was snowing lightly but seemed to cold to go outside.
Shivering at the thought of it she grabbed a pair of jeans near by and a netted green turtle neck. Snuggling her chair inside her smiled and swung her shoulder bag over her shoulder. Walking out of the common room she noticed a letter sitting at a table. It had looked like no one opened it up and was waiting for her. Picking it up she saw it was from her mom, it meant either good news or bad news. Isabella didn’t won’t to deal with it now and jammed the letter into her shoulder bag and took out a magazine. Holding it up her exited out of the common room and walked down the halls. The sounds of her boots made noise as she walked. Turning the page she continued to read. It was a martial about Quidditch and how to enhance your skills. Isabella was a pretty good chaser since her father played on the Irish team.
Turning the page she pulled her hair up into a neat bun. Stopping in the hall she looked next to her where a big mirror extended from the ground. Looking at herself she noticed her eyes were red from crying. Closing them she turned around and continued to walk down to the student lounge. It had been open for a while but Isabella stayed in the Library or common room. Isabella was just the kind of girl who studied and got good grades. Felling a bit more up lifted she pushed open the doors to the lounge and looked around. Some people played wizard chess in one corner and the others were just talking. Smiling at the sit she sat down in her chair. Putting her feet on a stool she began to read more. Slumping more down into the chair she turned the pages of her magazine.
