Isabella was seating in the Slytherin common room on the couch by the fire. It was still cold outside and she didn’t won’t to catch a chill. Holding a warm mug of hot chocolate she took a sip but cursed loudly as the hot substance burned her tongue. "Oi....." Isabella groaned but then pushed it aside and took another sip. Smiling as a warm rush through her body she felt peaceful and relaxed. She hadn’t felt this way in a long time; many things have happen in her life all at once. First her mother and father were divorced and her sister fell tragically ill. Closing her eyes she took another sip trying to not to think of home. It was just too painful and brought tears to her eyes. Feeling furry run through her she throw her finished mug against the wall shuttering it into pieces. Watching it break she took a deep breath and left the common room.
Walking down the long long corridors she closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down. Isabella was quite good at that but sometimes she broke out like she had just done. Taking a deep breath she than fell onto the flour. Opening her eyes she looked up at the timid little girl who knocked her down. Glaring she got up and looked down at the third year. "Watch where you are going!" Isabella called out to the girl and pushed her aside and walked back down the corridor. All she could hear was the sound of her boots echoing off the walls. She felt furry rise again within her and pounded open the doors to the lounge.
The doors hit the walls rather hard almost denting them. Glaring at the students she walked down to the fire and not caring what people thought of her. Looking at some one who was in her seat she steeped in front of them and put her hands on her hips. The boy glared at her and looked up into her icy cold eyes. "What do you think you are doing?" Isabella called out in a tone that sounded like a hiss. "Sitting got a problem with that?" the boy called back to her. At the moment Isabella grabbed the boy by the collar of his robes and threw him to the flour. "Never speak like that you hear me? You never talk to a Slytherin like that especially one who will kill you now run along and remember that this is my chair!" Isabella called out and smirked at the boy who struggled to get up.
Sitting down in her chair she crossed her legs and slumped more down into it. Felling the warmth of the fire she looked at it not blinking. Notching she had caused disturbance she didn’t care some one was sitting in her seat and she had to take action. Sighing she felt rather bored and played around with her thumbs.

The library was very quiet. no noise was heard except for the seldom turning of a page. Sitting in the left corner was fifth year Cedric Wood. On the table were Divivination books. "I hate this class." Cedric said as he stood up. Grabbing the books, parchment, and quills of the table he stuffed them into his bag and threw the strap over his shoulder. With the bag at his side he walked out of the library into the hall way.
Ussually Cedric didn't have any problems in his classes but Divivination just wasn't his best subject. He had no idea what he was doing. He also thought the same about that quack Trealawney. "Use your inner eye." Cedric said laughing as he walked down the hall way. On the way to the dungeons he saw a couple of freinds but all of them were going to do other things. Getting to the common room Cedric said "**********". As the door opened he stepped in to the drafty room.
The room was a little colder than the rest of the castle but Cedric didn't mind. He walked up the steps to the dormatories and walked over to his bed. He dropped his bag at the foot of his side table and grabbed the newest issue of Quidditch International off the table. Shoving the magazine into the pocket of his robes and began walking back downstairs. As he was walking out of the common he noticed a broken mug on the floor. "Messy kids." he said as he walked out.
Cedric began walking down the corridors towards the great hall. As he was on his way he saw a girl against the wall looking very scared. Cedric laughed and kept walking. When he got to the great hall he got a cup of hot chocolate and then heded to the student lounge. As he walked in he saw a boy on the floor. Cedric smirked at him and then walked towards the fire. He saw a girl sitting with her legs crossed and walked up to her. "Is this seat taken?" Cedric asked looking down at the girl.

Feeling even more bored Isabella recrossed her legs around and taped her foot in the air. It was a usual habit for her but boredom can make anyone do weird things. Noticing that some one else had come up to her and asked to sit down she wondered why he just didn’t. Not making a remark she nodded her head, "Go ahead." Isabella said in a calm voice and starred at the little boy walking away. Looking at the badge on his shoulder she saw a lion. Glaring at it she smiled slyly as she had taunted a little Gryffindor. Putting it in her back of her mind she recorssed her legs and looked at the boy who had taken a seat on the couch.
Noticing he had a magazine in her hands she looked at it and a sly smile spread across her face. It was about Quidditch, one of the best sports in the he wizarding world. "I take it that you like Quidditch, so do I. Well because I lived around it my fathers on the Irish team as Chaser and I am pretty skilled at the position but not like Dawn the caption." Isabella said looking off at the window on the other side of her.
Turning her head she noticed snow fell from the sky lightly and the winds blew against the castle hard. Feeling some what bored again she played around with there thumbs. It was also another bad habit for Isabella but she didn’t quite mind at all. Running thoughts in her head she didn’t even know the boy. She was quite forgetful at remembering names. Turning from the window to the boy she made no facial expressions. "My names Isabella Robinson you?" Isabella asked and looked back to the fire. Watching it flicker up she tucked her long silky hair behind her ears and starred back at the boy with her icy stares. Not all Slytherins were nice to each other and she didn't understand why they had to be. But this person seemed good enough for her.

Cedric watched as the girl noded and he sat down. Getting himself situated Cedric put his hot chocolate down on the table next to him and loked at the girl as she started talking to him. "Yeah I live for Quidditch." Cedric said as she talked about it. "Your dad was on the irish team? Thats awsome. Im the only real quidditch player in my family. Everyone just does it at family reunions and parties." Cedric listened as she talked about her position and then talked about Dawn. "I wouldn't go that far." Cedric said smiling. "I practice and play with Dawn and she's good but not that good. Your giving her to much credit and not enough to yourself."
"I play keeper. I dont mean to brag but Im pretty good." Cedric lied. He always bragged about his skills. He watched as the girl played with her thoumbs. "Im Cedric Wood." he said as she introduced herslef. "So what was up with that Gryfindor on the floor when I came in here?" Cedric asked. He took a sip of hot chocolate and then heard a familiar song. "Iv'e become so numb." Cedric began singing. Then he realised where the song was coming from and he pulled a CD player out of his pocket. "Sorry I forgot to put to hold on." Cedric said smiling.

Isabella looked from her hands to the mug that Cedric had just put down. Thinking about the one she broke in the common room. Sighing she looked at the boy as he began to talk about his family. "I have two older sisters one of them plays Keepers she says it boring but the real reason is that she stinks at the position!" Isabella said thinking back at home. The long nights with her dad and learning step by step. Her mom would always scream at them to come back when it was about midnight of so. Smiling as she thought of the nights she heard the sounds of music. She didn’t know much about muggle stuff but knew some of the music but not that well. "It’s okay...." Isabella said in a calm voice and looked into the fire.
Sitting up in her chair she noticed that Cedric has asked her about the boy. She smiled slyly and turned towards him, "Well he was just simply sitting in my seat. So I threw him out and he cried and left." Isabella said making the story short and sweet. Smiling again she turned towards the fire and soaked in it. She hated the cold rather especially playing Quidditch in it wasn’t her favorite thing to do. Tucking more of her hair behind her ears she looked once more at Cedric wondering if he would have done the same.

Cedric sat there and listened to Isabella talk. Then when she talked about her older sister playing keeper Cedric jokingly said "Boring? Boring? She must be crazy." Cedric laughed and took a sip or his hot chocolate. Then Cedric remembered being about 4 years old and his dad talking about stratigies of a keeper and Cedric said to his father "This is boring." Cedric let a huge grin go across his face as he looked into the fire. Those were the good days. There wasn't any pressure on him about his quidditch back then. He just flew and played. Didn't matter if he lost or messed up, just had fun flying around. Then Cedric snaped back into reality and looked at Isabella.
"Oh so he was in your seat." Cedric said looking at her. Laughing he said "I don't see your name on it." Cedric smiled at her and took another sip out of his mug. Cedric watched her tuck her hair behind her ears and playingly mimicked her. He laughed and then it hit him. "Have you seen the new Dragon 35 boots?" Cedric asked. Without letting her answer he pulled out his magazine and moved closer to her to show her. "Im going to get them when they come out in 3 weeks." he said proudly.

Isabella nodded her head in approval to Cedric about this being boring. "Yeah it is and I would rather spend my day making other peoples life miserable." Isabella said and turned her head back towards the window. Snow still fell lightly to the ground and the winds seemed strong. The thought of how cold it was out side made Isabella shiver. She wasnt a fan of the season winter and much preffered Summer or Spring. Continuing to look out the window she thought of her sister. Spending days in the beatiful gardens and taunting muggles that went by or went up to them. That was the best days of Iabella life and she wished she could take it all back. But she couldnt change the fact that her father and mother didnt love each other. Just before she left to Diagon Ally they filed a divorce and her father moved back to Rome and Isabella stayed with her sick sister and mother. Isabella mother was one of the best wirters in the wizarding world. But she was no mother and had a temper like Isabella. But all people who were in Slytherin had tempers.
Turning her head from the window she looked at Cedric and smiled at his remark about the boy. Well since she was a sixth year, and a Slytherin, she could do what she wished and kick anybody out. Turning around at the chair she thought about puting her name on it, "Well then I guess I will just have too them." Isabella said siting down properly. Looking ahead of her she watched the fire flicker and crackle. Smiling she noticed that Cedric was talking about a pair of boots. She had not heard of the pair since her father letters took so long to reach her. Looking at the page with the boots on them she thought they looked quite nice. "No I haven’t heard of the boots." Isabella said and sitting more back into her chair. She made a mental note to ask her mother in their letters. Turning back to the fire she said nothing listening to the other people around her speak.

Cedric sat and listened to Isabella's remark about putting her name on the chair. "Yeah but you would have hell to pay with Filch." Cedric said grinning. "Not that he's much to handle though." Cedric laughed and looked at Isabella as she looked at the boots. "Yeah there supposed to be really nice. You can even get your name engraved on them. I haven't decided wether to put Cedric the magnificant or Cedric the great." Cedric smiled at Isabella letting her know that it was a joke. He then took a sip of his hot chocolate and looked around the room. He saw many people sitting in the lounge. There were a couple firsties and a few of every other year. Then in the corner he saw a couple sitting together. It looked like a 5th year boy and a 4th year girl. It had been a while since Cedric had been in a relationship. He didn't have the time. His life revolved around quidditch and if something didn't have anything to do with it he left it alone.
Then Cedric realised he had been stiing in silence not talking to Isabella. "I hate those awkward silences." Cedric said closing the magazine. "So tel me about yourself Isabella Robinson." Cedric said laughing. "What makes you tick?" Cedric looked out the window and then back at Isabella awaiting her response.

Continuing to look into the fire she heard that Cedric was making his own remark towards putting his name on the chair. Turning her head she looked at him and than her chair, "True Flich would have a fit but I could care less." Isabella said smiling at her own remark. It was true she really wouldn’t care what the old man thought. Isabella laughed coldly at the names he might have put on the labels. She never really thought of it but would just probably put down her name in capital letters. Deciding to keep her mouth shut she looked around in the room. Many people where shattered along in the rather large room. Couple people playing wizard in the corner and some reading in the other. Continuing to look around she saw a couple that Cedric was looking at. She never really thought of a relationship to much in her life has happen just to have some personal time for herself.
Smirking she looked back into the fire trying to push aside the furry that rose within her. Isabella was pretty good at controlling her temper at times but it wasn’t always easy for her. Listening to the silence she thrived on it and enjoyed it a bit. Closing her eyes she let the warmth of the fire take over her. Taking a deep breath she felt some what better but still felt her heart as cold as ever. It was natural for some Slytherins to have a cold heart and she hated the purebloods who like mudbloods and half’s. Smirking once again at her thought she shot a glance at Cedric as he asked for her to talk about herself more. "Well nothing that exciting has happen in life and I would like to keep my personal life to my self thank you." Isabella said rather annoyed with people asking what was wrong. Nothing was wrong with her she was just being her natural self. Then the boy asked her what made her tick, well there were many things but one main thing was Liondork. "Well many things can make a Slytherin tick. Like purebloods who like mud bloods and half’s like Persues Feynman. Also what makes me tick is Justin Lionheart but I would rather call him Liondork. He has no respect for Slytherins and is just an annoying person." Isabella said as her eyes showed furry. Remembering that one night she had with Dawn, Persues, Justin, Mary, and Kris was rather eventful. Crossing her legs she looked at Cedric, "What about you?" She said in a calm tone.

Cedric sat and listened to Isabella as she talked. "Well don't get to mad with me for asking." Cedric said smiling. "Just a question thats all." Cedric sat sipping his hot chocolate listening to Isabella talk about herself. "Yes I completly understand. Justin Lionheart gets to me to. I am still waiting for him to make a move this year." Cedric said angrily. He remembered last year when they got in a fight. Oh he would get that prat back, he would.
When Isabella asked Cedric about himself Cedirc sighed. "Not really much to say. I play quidditch. I plan on playig when I graduate. Thats about it." Cedric said smilling. Cedric hadn't felt this happy in a while. Ussually he was in a bad mood and didn't tlak to stangers. Looking back at Isabella Cedric said "Well how about we talk about love intrests. Unless thats to private for me to know." Cedric laughed and waited for Isabella to reply.

"Some things need to be keep unanswered and alone that’s all." Isabella said smiling and calmed down a bit. Her temper was the one thing that people did not like. But she could care less what other people thought and just worry about what was to come. Nodding her head at the boy as he told about his life. Just playing Quidditch. Isabella wondered if there was more but did not ask. She respected other people privacy and did not ask many personal questions until the person was conferrable with her. Smiling she looked once again around the room. Some people had left and it was a little more quiet than usual. Tucking hair behind her ears she felt once again bored. It wasn’t unusual for her to be bored all the time there wasn’t anything to do and she finished all her home work. Isabella was a good student and got good grades. She would make a good Ravenclaw but her temper and attitude towards mud bloods was the only reason for stopping her. But really why did Hogwarts have to allow them? They were just useless and powerless to Isabella and many others.
Looking into the fire she watched it dance. It was sending a blast of warm air towards her direction and she liked that. The castle was old at times and only had fires to keep it warm. Noticing that Cedric had asked a question on love interests. Raising her eyebrows at the boy she wondered where he was off too. She did not like any one at Hogwarts more than a friend or enemies. "What kind of love interests are you talking about?" Isabella asked wondering where the boy came up with this stuff.

Cedric watched as Isabella looked around the room. Cedric also let his eyes wander. Many of the people had left so the noise had fallen to a soft whisper. The fire flickered in the fireplace and the wind wishtled past the windows. When Isabella asked Cedric what he ment by love intrests he looked at her and said "You know. Are there any special someones out there for our young miss Robinson?" Cedric laughed and looked around. He had knew he was pushing her. Thats what he did, pushed people. Tried to test their limits. Tried to see how far they would go until they snapped. Cedric smiled at the thought of someone fliping out at him for pushing to far.
Cedric looked back at Isabella and smiled. She seemed nice enough. Maybe to nice. It seemed to Cedric that alot of wish washy people had been let into Slytherin now adays. Many Slytherins who were nice and like other house. The worst of wich had to be Perseus. The nice caring Slytherin. What a disgrace. Cedric started to feel sick just thinking of the love that Perseus gave to others. Cedric looked over at Isabella and awaited her response to his question.

Isabella half listened to Cedric as he talk about the special some one. Smirking she glared at him but said nothing. It was not his place to know who she liked or not. Still glaring she raised her eye brows again and yawned. This was getting even more boring than before. Still not answering the boys question she looked at the clock and watched the hands move. A minute passed by and then two....... and then three...... and then foure............ and finally it reached to five. Yawning yet again she turned back towards Cedric as she knew what he was trying to do, push her to her limits. But it wasn’t going to happen. She did not understand why people could respect other people privacy. "No one what about you Mr. Wood have you seen that some one?" Isabella asked and turned her attention towards the clock.
Swinging her foot in the air impatiently she said nothing. Her blank facial expression said that she was bored out of her mind. Looking around for some one to taunt she noticed no one good enough. Sighing she sat back down in her chair and continued to tapped her foot in the air impatiently. Rolling her eyes she starred back into the fire. It continued to dance in front of her sending warm air her way. If it didn’t get interesting in a couple more minutes she would leave and not care what Cedric thought of her or anyone else.

Cedric sat ad watched as Isabella looked at the clock. She seemed like she was late for something the way she impatiently looked at the time every so often. Cedric took another sip of his hot chocolate and proped up his feet on a near by table. When she asked his question back Cedric looked at her with a grin and said "Nope. Not anymore." Cedric looked up at the clock feeling like she would think he was mimicking her.
Cedric started to become restless. When he was restless he started to get angry. With the look on his face as a cat who had no longer got any fun playing with the mouse Cedric said "This bores me. What else is there to do in this school." Cedric stood up and finished the rest of his hot chocolate. Putting the cup down he looked at Isabella. "What do you say we go for a walk?" Cedric started towards the door and looked back saying "Unless you want to stay in here staring at the clock waisting your pathetic life away." He let out a laugh and stood waiting.

Hearing that Cedric had said no about liking anyone or finding that some one she just ignored it and looked back at the clock. It was tall and looked dustier that anything she has ever seen. Rolling her eyes she listened to it. Tick Tock Tick Tock she heard and it was driving her insane. Glaring at a group of kids were not talking she was about to throw a mug their way but stopped herself. She shouldn’t let her anger get the best of her. Taking a breath she crossed her arms around her chest and starred back in the fire. Tick tock, Tick Tock the clock still went on and she felt angry and her eyes had fire in them. Still not doing anything she crossed and recrosed her legs waiting for something to happen. Tick Tock, Tick Tock it still went on and she stood up and looked at the clock. Putting her hands on her hips she eyed it. "What a spick less piece of dirt. It should be burned." Isabella mumbled to herself and sat back down and her anger went away.
Feeling some what with peace with herself she even more bored. Noting listening to the clock tick she looked over at Cedric's direction and yawned. Why were moments of her life so boring? Normally being a Slytherin man people would try to prank her or talk back at her. Missing the old days she noticed that the boy got up and asked if she would go on a walk. Not answering she thought about it for a moment. It was either stay here and be bored or try to have fun taunting students in the halls. Wow that was an easy pick. Standing up she cracked her neck and walked up to Cedric. "Fine but my life has already been wasted but I am so bored at the moment I would think Crabbe was smart." Isabella said smirking at her own remark. The two dimwits, Crabbe and Goyle, were probably the most stupid people on the face of the earth. Being both there little pig self’s she felt sick as she thought of them feasting. About to gag she pushed that thought away and opened the doors and walked out of the lounge.
