Amelia sighed slightly, swaying in her chair by the fire. It was such a tiring day. Everything seemed to get on her nerves. She rolled her eyes when someone smiled, she snapped when someone barely touched her, she yelled when someone said something that ticked her off. She sighed again, hoping this grouchiness would pass soon.
"Ivy, hurry the bloody hell up," she said under her breath. Then she felt surprised at herself. It wasn't Ivy's fault that she was feeling so bad, so why should she curse and hurry her up when Amelia was early. She sighed, suddenly feeling like crying. It was so stressful. Everything was stressful. She hoped that Ivy wouldn't say anything that ticked her off, Amelia didn't want to yell at her she wanted to show Ivy how much she wanted to be her friend.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm her towering anger. Why did she have to be so grouchy!? she sighed, laying her head against the cold wall, waiting for Ivy.

Ivy hurried through the cold corridors. She'd arranged to meet with Amelia in the Student Lounge. It had been ages since they'd been able to have a proper talk. They were always so busy.
There weren't many people around in the corridors, as it was getting a little later in the evening. Ivy had been picked on by an older Slytherin earlier on, which wasn't her favourite occupation. But she knew what to do by now, and had managed to slip away unharmed. Ivy wondered why more of them couldn't be like Phoebe. Phoebe wasn't too bad, under the initial ... no... Ivy wasn't going to think anything bad about her right now.
Ivy reached the Lounge fairly early. She knew that Amelia probably wouldn't be there, but Ivy didn't mind a short wait. She liked being quiet and getting an insight into other people's lives.
Ivy smiled and looked around as she entered the Lounge. There was a warm glow coming from the fire, and it was well lit by candles and oil lamps all around, although the room was not too bright. She spotted Amelia in a corner.
"Hey," she said, smiling, sitting down in a comfy armchair. Then she looked at Amelia more closely and noticed that she seemed a little out of sorts.
"Something up?" she asked. It was hard for her to tell, although she counted Amelia as a friend she realised that she still didn't know her all that well.

Amelia tried hard not to glare. This wasn't fair for Ivy, she thought, don't be nasty to yoru friend. She shrugged and took a deep sigh.
"Yeah," she said, "I am so tired and extremly grumpy. Although i love ya like my best friend, Ivy, I will jump down your throat for absolutly no reason, so if I seem like a bloody nasty person, don't be surprised and take it the wrong way," she cursed how cold her voice sounded.
"I'm so sorry Ivy," she said softly, "I just don't feel well and want to kill the first person who upsets me..." she felt like crying with frustration again.

Ivy looked at Amelia with concern, although she feared that that might just irritate her further. She certainly knew it would her. Although she and Amelia were fairly different.
"Is there anything in particular that's bothering you?" she asked, hoping that she could help. "Or have you just had a bad day?"
Ivy couldn't help but laugh a little to herself - it seemed like a physchiatrist interrogating their patient, although that was upon no account what she was doing. She knew it would probably make Amelia feel worse, and she was sorry for it. But she felt tired and worn down herself.

Amelia closed her eyes and willed herself to not yell or scream or anything that would make Ivy feel bad, even though she felt like it for no reason! She took a slightly deep breath and nodded.
"I just had almost no sleep and i have been so P'Oed all day that all I want to do is hurt someone... but i wont hurt you because you are my friend, and i wont do that to you..." she sighed and closed her eyes, a head ache coming on.

Ivy regarded Amelia closely. She could tell that she wasn't all that happy. She wondered if something else had happened, that was an underlying cause of her bad day, or bad mood. Of course, it could just be a bad day. Everyone had them.
"Well, is there anything I can do?" Ivy asked. She saw Amelia sigh. "Other than just shut up?"

Amelia tried to smile. She didn't want to say it in front of everyone so she shrugged.
"Um..." she sighed, "No not really, it's a, er, natural thing i guess..." Amelia didn't know how to say it without attracting attention or embarrassing herself, "um... Girl problems is all," she blushed.

Ivy smiled understandingly, wishing that Amelia would stop blushing. Amelia wasn't supposed to blush! She was the one that was supposed to be all composed and... hyper. And who made Ivy blush inadvertently. Oh well.
"Yep..." she said, "well I get that too, so..." Ivy looked around the room, and was glad to see that no one was suddenly looking at them. As if they would have been interested anyway, she scolded herself.
"Yes..." Ivy said, at a loss for where to take the conversation.

Amelia took another deep breath and laughed slightly.
"Oh look at me!" she looked down at her baggy shirt. She never looked this laid back. She usualy had her white uniform shirt on tight and her skirt low. But today she had a baggy white shirt, and baggy gray sweet pants. Her day had been very relaxed... she sighed and smiled. Trying to forget her moody anger.
