Christina was in the Hufflepuff Common Room Reading a very intresting book that was making her want to read more and more into it. She kept flipping the pages and before she knew it she was on the last page and then she was done. Just like that she had finished the book. Christina sighed wishing it could've lasted longer and that it wouldn't have been a series of books but unfourtunatley it was one book and that was that. She got up off the couch she had been sitting on and decided she needed to get out and do something. She walked out of the Common Room and made her way down to the Great Hall. She smiled at people as she passed for she was feeling very cheery that perticular day.
Before she went out side, Christina pulled her robes tighter around her and ran outside into the cold, fresh air. She loved being outside where she could do anything she pleased and just enjoy the breeze on her face. She walked out towards the frozen lake and began to jog around it. She could feel the wind whipping through her hair and the little warmth that the winter sun gave off. In no time at all she was feeling warmer and more refreshed. When she had ran one lap around the lake she walked back up towards the castle and went in through the Great Hall. She decided to go to the Student Lounge to see if anyone she knew would be around and about.
As soon as Christina walked through the doors to the castle she could feel the warmth of the castle engulf her and it took a little while for her to cool down. Christina walked along the Corridors looking for the great oak doors that would bring her into the Student Lounge. At last she arrived there and grasped the handle and swung the doors open to reveal a large yet brightly lit room in which many people from many different houses were chatting loudly or playing a game of Wizarding chess, or just sitting quietly by the fire reading a book.
Seeing that no one was there that Christina knew, she sat down by the fire and became lost in her thoughts. She was in a day dream and the voices around her didn't exsist.

Grace was running through the snow outside. Her face was all red from the bitter cold and she felt numb. Taking deep breaths she continued to run. It was her way of keeping in shape and loved sports very much and dancing. Aye dancing was her favorite passion and no one could take that away from her. Smiling she thought of a song in her head that always made her kept on going.
After a couple of miles of running she stopped by a bench where she had dropped off shoulder bag and coat. Looking at her watch she realized she had been out for more than an hour and she sat down on the cold hard bench and rested her back on the wall behind her. Closing her eyes she waited until her heart beat went down. Smiling she took out her head phones and listened to the sweet music. The head phones seemed to vibrate on her ears and she bobbed her head to the music making her red hair swing around. Smiling she stood up and started to dance to the music. Her moves matched the beat of the rhythm as she moved around wildly to the music.
As she continued to dance she felt something cold hit her and she turned around on her heel to see a couple of children playing around. Glaring at the kids as they giggled and threw the next one at her. Smirking she took out her wand and pointed it towards the snow and at the kids and a couple of snows balls hit them. Smiling sweetly at the children she picked up her bag and jacket and turned up her music all the way once again and left to go inside of the castle.
When she had opened the doors to the student lounge she was greeted with a blast of warm air. Closing her eyes she entered the lounge and plopped down in a chair she had called her own. Leaning her head back on the chair she closed her eyes and felt very tired. It had been a long morning but she had to kept in shape and need time alone to think. Running every morning in the cold made her think more clearly than around other people. Grace opened her eyes and saw her reflection in a near by window. Smirking she took ignored the fact that her hair had pink stripes running down it. Sighing she turned her head to see a girl her age sitting on the couch. Not knowing what to do she turned up her head phones and slumped more into her chair.

Jasmine pulled her feet under her as she sat on the ground in front of the fire. Her hair was in her face but she didn’t bother to move it. A smile lay across the five-teen year old face and she started to turn the page of her sketch book. Parvati had gotten her into drawling one the Christmas trip to Weini Zug. Moving her hand on the sketch book her charm braclet made noises. Chad her older brother had given her a beautiful charm braclet. Many charms where on the sliver chain like a horse, ribbon, the letter J, and even a heart with the words Soul on it. Jasmine smiled even more as she thought of her brother. He wasn’t really her brother since she was adopted but the two were so close.
The fire flicker in front of her and she closed her eyes and leaned her head back on the couch enjoying the calm peaceful common room. It wasn’t that busy now but before winter break many Ravens were in there studying and talking about plans for the winter vacation. Sighing Jasmine put her sketch book back in her shoulder bag and swung her shoulder bag on her shoulder and walked out of the common room in search of Vanessa, Molly, Kim, or anyone else she knew. Walking down the long winding corridors she hummed a tone to herself and sang lightly.
"When we were together; you treated me with kindness But then it turned sour and you made me feel your sadness I wanted you to see me; to feel all my pain But you just ignored me, making me sad and completely insane If you don’t see well then, you must be blind I can’t believe it, I’m going out of my mind You ignore me as if I weren’t there Making me want to stare" Jasmine sang out in the halls with her voice echoing back at her.
As Jasmine reached the doors to the student lounge she pushed them open lightly and looked around noticing that only a few people were in the room. Sighing she walked into the room with her shoulder bag moving on her shoulder. Smiling she sat down on a couch and saw two older girls there as well looking into the fire. Turning her head the other way she pulled her legs under her and didn’t make a sound at all. Felling all nervous she took out her note book and started to write some lyrics down. Picking up her pencil she put it to her mouth and started to think. Lately her inspiration had been driven away and couldn’t come up with anything. Sighing she put the pencil down and stared into the fire as well.

Jaquin was out in the cold, white fields of Hogwarts grounds, helping Hagrid maintain his Hippogriffs, who were becoming restless because of the interminable snow storm. He was utterly fascinated by the subject of Care of Magical Creatures or Magibiology. Jaquin was prepared to go to some of the best Universities in the US, such as Princeton, or even Stanford after graduating from Hogwarts. He had already taken many of their tests in which all of them granted him access to their curriculums. Everyday, Jaquin spent at least four hours studying biology, chemistry, genetics, architecture, and archeaology because of his ambition to succeed. He had earned all outstandings in his O.W.L.s with the exception of History of Magic and Divination and planned to get all Outstandings on his N.E.W.T.s. Not only was he talented in these subjects, but Jaquin also had an anamalous affinity for linguistics. ((I suggest you read his biography))
The sky was a billowing mass of grey, the clouds reflecting an atmosphere of melancholy, and the castle was a beacon of light. Jaquin could already feel the warm air that awaited him inside the castle as he worked sedulously on foods that had multifarious nutrients; the Hippogriffs would need it to last the winter. After cutting up dragon liver and several chunks of chicken, Jaquin headed back towards the castle, his robes billowing out behind him. The bright glow of light from the castle was covered by the impregnable veil of snow, but, Jaquin persisted. He summoned up a burning sheild of flame and melted his way through the snow, towards Hogwarts.
When he got into the Entrance Hall, Jaquin heard the sounds of raucous laughter and the voices of interminable discussions that frequented the Great Hall. The sound resonated throughout the chamber and it encouraged Jaquin to seek a place that was not as loud. As he entered the Ravenclaw Common Room, Jaquin found less people, but the cacophony was still too much to bear. So, instead, he went back down several flights of stairs and onto the first floor where the courtyard and Student Lounge was located. Upon entering, Jaquin spotted an old acquiantance; Jasmine Anderson. "Well, good afternoon, Jasmine," Jaquin greeted with a smile. He looked around and spotted two Hufflepuff girls sitting nearby, but decided not to say anything.

Grace took off her head phones and turned off her CD player and placed it in her shoulder bag. Crossing her legs she looked up at the girl who was around her age. Squinting at her it’s finally hit her Grace knew the girl. "Owe I seen you around what’s your name again? Is it Christy....? No is it Melody.... No is it Faith hey that my older sisters name not yours. No wait I think I got it your name is Kelly? Right Huh?" Grace said crossing her legs and then uncrossing them again. She was quite restless at the moment and it was kind of scary because before she was all tired and now she is back to her hyper self.
Smiling she looked at the fire and watched it dance. Acing to dance she sat in her seat and watched the dance. Sighing she turned towards the girl again wonting to talk more. "Ohh what are you reading? I don’t really like to read but that just me. I normally play the not study game. Its quite simple you don’t study." Grace said laughing a bit at what she had just said. She sometimes studyed but she was geting her act together since this is her NEWTS year. Leaning back in the chair more she put on her head phones again and started to listen to the music.
Just then two people also came into the lounge and she stared up at them. Noticing that they were Ravens maybe they would wont to play as well. "Owe what’s your guy’s name? I am Grace Willows by the way." Grace greeted them trying to stop herself from talkng even more. Biting her lower lip she turned her head to look out the window. It looked rather cold outside but its wasnt snowing. Smiling she turned her attention back to the three people who sat next to her.

Chirstina woke up from her fantasizing with a start and turned towards a voice that belonged to a 6th year Hufflepuff like herself. "Why hello um yeah my name is Christina, you got it right the first time" laughed Christina. She held out her hand and shook the girl's hand. "Your name is Grace right? i've seen you around before." She laughed as Grace told her about the 'not study game' "Yeah sometimes I wish I could play that game." Christina was a hard worker mainly because she pushed herself to be. She wanted to be a perfectionist but never quite succeded because she was just to busy having fun. She never really got the grades she wanted even though she worked hard to get them. Christina smiled at Grace and watched her put her head phones back on. "What are you listening to?" asked Christina at the thought of her own CDs sitting in her trunk which was in the Dorms.
Christina leaned back laizily into her chair and stared back into the flames thinking about her mother and her new boyfriend and her to - be sister Molly Stanford. Christina sighed and wondered when the wedding will be and if her and her brother and sister and Molly would be able to attend. They were probably going to get married during the Summer and she was hoping to invite some of her friends to the wedding.
Christina jumped once again to the sound of a voice only this time she discovered that it was a guy that spoke and he was from Ravenclaw. She only knew this because she had seen him sitting at the Ravenclaw table at lunch. Christina knew at least one thing about everyone in hogwarts because she was so sociable . She looked up to see who he adressed and it was Jasmine Anderson who he was talking to. She knew Jasmine because Molly would talk about her so often and even pointed her out once. Christina didn't even know Jasmine had come in, she was so quiet just sitting there and drawing. Christina stood up and smiled at the two people who had entered the room. "Hi My name's Christina, how do you do?" Christina held out her hand waiting for someone to shake it.

Jasmine starred into the fire trying to capture her inspiration but it seemed to be flying away from her. Sighing yet again she put her note book back in her shoulder bag and took out her sketch book and sat down on the ground. Flipping through the pages she looked at her recent drawling. They went all that good but good enough for herself. Pavratii Patil was a much better artist than her but Jasmine tried. Looking off at the window the Grace was looking out in she looked at it and smiled. Turning to a fresh page she took out her pencil and started to make and outlieing of the window. Continuing to drawl she notice that Jaquin had entered the lounge and greeted her. Resting her pencil down on the ground next to her she looked up at her friend and smiled, "It’s nice to see you Jaquin. What have you been up to since our last conversation on the Christmas trip?" Jasmine said smiling and turning back to her paper.
Picking her pencil back up she continued to add more detail to her drawling. Darking some areas and lighten it up in others she smiled at her master piece. Closing her sketch book she kept it at her lap and turned up to the two other girls. Laughing softly at their energy she smiled. They reminded her so much of Kim and wished to see the fourth year again. Smiling she turned to speak but nothing happen. Felling a little uneasy she played around with her charm braclet on her wrist. Touching the sliver horse she thought of home. Riding back on the trails and going to shows and teaching lessons. An even bigger smile lay on her face as she was drifted off into her thoughts.
Jasmine than was dragged out yet again as the girl introduced herself as Christina. Looking up at the older girl she smiled and took her hand. "Um.... I-I-I a-am Jas-Jas-Jasmine Anderson ni-nice t-to meet you." Jasmine said and blushing at her stuttering. Turning her attention back on the fire she took a deep breathe and heard the sounds of music fill in. Turning towards the girl slumped down in the chair she smiled. Not saying anything else she pulled her knees in front of her and rested her head on her knees and looked up at Jaquin and smiled. She hadn’t seen in a little while and he was the only person she knew in the group.

Jaquin looked up as one Hufflepuff girl introduced herself as Grace Willows a 6th year. The other Hufflepuff girl, another 6th year introduced herself as well and held her hand out. Jaquin shook it and said, "Salutations. My name is Jaquin, Jaquin Prokenstien." He turned back towards Jasmine and answered, "Yes, it has been a while. Of course, Hogwarts hands out copious amounts of homework to N.E.W.T.s students.... Even more than an O.W.L. student would get. So, I have been very busy, of course. He listened to the sounds of raucous laughter that reflected great euphoria. Jaquin took out a plethora of large volumes and busied himself with his notebook. The tumultuous sounds were exasperating, especially when one was endeavoring to study, but Jaquin chose to ignore the students' voices.
He thought about the Quidditch match that was coming up between Slytherin and Ravenclaw and he could just imagine the intensity of it all. Slytherin would be working very hard to defeat them in the Quidditch game while Ravenclaw would try to hold onto their lead. Jaquin knew that if he won, his friend and near brother, Perseus would have a hard time forgiving him. Of course, Jaquin did not care about the outcome. All that mattered was the strategy involved in the game.
After contemplating about this for a few minutes, Jaquin wondered if the Hufflepuffs were still extremely dissapointed by their stunning defeat during the last game when Ravenclaw had played against Hufflepuff. Jaquin reminisced the game very well and how he had battered their team with his impregnable beaters bat, which almost never failed him. Finally, Jaquin had to pull himself back to the present and focus on taking notes about the somatosensory system of cephalopods and how it pertained to the understanding of the channels with discrete voltage-sensitive and ion-selective entities that came largely from a series of classical studies using the squid giant axon. It was a lab report that Jaquin had to finish to higher his credentials as a future Princeton University student.

Grace sighed as she got the girls name wrong. She didn’t have a very good memory when it came to her friends. But when it was studying she could. Smiling she looked at Christina she smiled as she had just made a great new friend. "Well I can’t ever remember names but when it comes to studying I am pretty good. But you might consider me as a punk but oh well. I don’t judge you by anything." Grace said with a wink and slumped more down into her chair. Turning up the volume of her CD player she banged her head to the sweet music. Grace was much of a signer but she loved to dance and was really good at it. At home she would teach lessons to younger students and many scouts asked her to go to their schools. But Grace always turned it down because dancing was her passion not career and she wonted to work in the Ministry and learn more about the wizarding culture.
Bobbing her head more she stood up and looked at Christina who had just asked her what she was listening too. Pulling her head phones down she looked at her friend, "Well it’s my mix. You see I have this computer at home and I can download as many songs as I wont but I have to pay for them. It’s really stupid but oh well. Have you ever heard of Hoobastank it’s a muggle band their quite good. Well I am listening to the reason it’s quite a good song." Grace said pulling her headphones back on her ears and listened to the music once again. She started to mumble the lyrics to herself.
"I'm not a perfect person There's many things I wish I didn't do But I continue learning I never meant to do those things to you And so I have to say before I go That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me To change who I used to be A reason to start over new and the reason is you
I'm sorry that I hurt you It's something I must live with everyday And all the pain I put you through I wish that I could take it all away And be the one who catches all your tears Thats why i need you to hear" Grace mubled out to herself moving her head up and down and not caring what people thought of her.
Once the song had ended another one came on and she looked at Jasmine and Jaquin who were having there own conversation. Raising her eyebrow at the nervous girl she smiled, "Hey don’t have a cow take deep breathes we are not going to bite yeah." Grace said with a wink and turned to Jaquin who had said he was busy with home work. "Yes N.E.W.T.S students get more than O.W.L.S but I don’t mind the work. Hey what are you working on it looked complicated?" Grace said with a confused look on her face as she scanned the book he was holding.
