D.J. made her way into the student lounge, her legs feeling like Jello as she walked into the warm retreat. Her arms hang loosely by her sides and her camera swung around her neck as she lifted her left foot, then her right foot. D.J. sighed at the aching horror that was within her bones. She could hear a few of her bones cracked as she walked, and she shivered at that sound. It was like nails on a chalkboard it was.
Putting her camera down on the table in front of her she continued to try and walk to the couch where she could rest her aching limbs. She knew she shouldn't have gone out jogging in that kind of weather. D.J.'s limbs were all frozen and they were all brittle at the moment and every move she made was very close to breaking one of those very brittle bones. D.J. howled in pain as she lifted her left foot again and then her right foot.
She finally pulled her legs up with her hands, and walked that way. She knew she looked weird, but really right now all she cared about was getting to that couch by the fire. It seemed so far away, and she was getting no where by forcing her legs to move this way and that. D.J. sighed and finally gave up, she fell on the floor, her face in the carpet. She didn't even realize someone walking over to her, until they talked to her. She rolled over with a groan to see someone she did not know. D.J. smiled up at the person and waited for them to say something.

It was a rather cold day and Jasmine sat on a bench outside. The wind was blowing on her face and she could feel her check sting with coldness. She pulled on her blue suide jacket to become much warmer. When Jasmine was outside she felt some what like she can think again. Sighing she rest her head on the wall behind her and closed her eyes and tried to think of a song. Huming slightly to herself she smiled and her mind started to drift off. The wind stung her face even more and she pulled down her Ravenclaw clored hat on her face even more. Sighing she pulled off her hat and tired to fix her hair that was all sticking up into the air. Laughing softly she patted it down and stood up and almost fell onto the ground by a powerful strike of wind.
A smile grew on her face as she swung her shoulder back onto her shoulder and walked back inside. Rubbing her hands together she looked all around her. Barly anyone were in the hallways and Jasmine wondered where everyone could be. Sighing she patted her hair down even more and continued to walk down the long empty halls. Opening the big wooden oak doors to the lounge she looked around once again. A few people were playing wizard chess and Jasmine never understod the game. Was it just baicaly a real muggle chess or something else. Smiling she walked over towards a chair and slumped down into it.
Clinging onto her jacket she looked next to her and stared at a girl was walking in and looked beat. Smiling she turned her attention to the fire that flickered in front of her. Sighing she pulled her hair back and pulled her feet to one side and took out a sketch book and looked around for something that stuck out to her. Not having any luck she turned towards the girl who had just sat next to her. Jasmine could feel her nereves bundle up in her stomach and she turned towards the paper and started to outline her. Her hand glided over the paper and her sliver charm blacket made noise on the board. Smiling she started to add value to the picture making certain places darker than the other. Once she had finshed she turned it towards the girl. "Umm...... H-hi I a-am Jas-Jasmine Anderson." Jasmine said turning red at her nerves.

D.J. had stood up and collapsed onto the couch, her head resting on the arm rest, messing up her blonde bun, but she really didn't care. D.J. put her hands over her eyes and pulled it slowly down over her face as if to wake herself up. With a harumph and a sigh, she sat up and looked at the girl who had sat down and started to draw. D.J. never drawed, she wasn't very good at it, but she knew Parvati Patil, who was a magnificent artist and a wonderful sixth year.
"Ello. I'm Donna Jo Michaels. My friends call me D.J. or Deej. It's really your choice. That's a great drawing Jasmine. Last time I tried to draw, the pencil wouldn't let me. It was one of those magical pencils, you know the ones that draw on their own? Well, I was trying to draw the moon and the pencil kept draiwng a rose. We fought for hours over trying to draw the moon and a rose. Finally it stopped drawing, but the drawing wasn't of a moon or a rose, it was a rectangle. Odd, right? Anyway, Jasmine, what house are you in? I'm in Gryffindor, and I'm as brave as they come. Unless of course you count me being afraid of mice. But, I don't count that." D.J. rambled, she smiled and picked at the fabric on the couch. Pulling the strings out of the embeded pictures and winding them around her finger.
D.J. smiled and looked up at Jasmine again, she racked her brain for something to talk about, but nothing came to mind. D.J. bit her bottom lip and looked up into the ceiling, still thinking. Then it hit her, "Have you ever gone jogging early in the morning in this kind of weather? Your bones get all brittle and every move you make afterwards really hurts. I always go jogging, no matter what kind of weather, but this weather is beyond my idea of fun jogging time. I'm an in fit girl, I like to make sure I am healthy. You know what Benjamin Franklin said, 'Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise.' Ah, I love American history. My cousin, Pamela, she lives in the States and she sends me all her old textbooks and I send her mine. Oh, not Hogwarts textbooks of course, now that would be a disaster in the making. I learn a lot from her, and she learns a lot from me. Me and Pam are like this," D.J. then crossed her index finger and her middle finger to show how close they were,"yessum we are. Do you have anyone your close like that with? You must! People just aren't lonely these days, or at least I hope not, that would be a sad world in deed." D.J. was often known for her ecessive rambling but, that didn't stop her. She liked how she talked, and if no one else did that's their problem.
