Elizabeth was in the Student lounge writing in her journal, she did this more now than ever since the Katie incident. So far this is what she had written:
Dear Journal, there seems to be a lot going on in my life latley. First of all Katie is back from her coma. She seems to be doing well . . . but she's changed . . . She started wearing makeup, hanginout with me alot more, and she is not getting along with Jordan that well . . . There is something odd about the whole intire situation. She is way more girly than I remember. Jordan, as i told you earlier was cutting herself and i saw that Katie was burning her fingers, niether of them did a very good job of hiding it. They don't do it anymore but I'm still worried about them both . . . If I thought my life was complicated before it is nothing compared to now. I try not to get into thier buisness but I'm afraid they will end up hurting themselves worse than I ever knew possible. My life is so much like a Soap Opera, only it takes place in a school of Witch craft and Wizardry, excitement and drama at the same time. I need to tell them to stop, but i don't know how. I need to talk to them, but they are going to hate me if I do. What can I do? I guess I should let them do whatever they want . . . no, I care about them to much, I will talk to them if it gets worse. I will keep you updated. ~Elizabeth Saturday, January 8th
Elizabeth closed her book and looked up. She scanned the room for Katie or Jordan. But they were not there. I wanna talk to my friends. Where are they? She didn't want to talk about the stuff in the journal, but she wanted to talk to them because she was lonley and about stuff like music, homework, and her party.

"Cur ecquis asella ancile to abludo addo actus?" Jordan muttered as she entered the Student Lounge for the seond time that day.Though, this time Jordan hoped to not run into Katie and not get into another arguement. That would be beyond horrible. Two arguements in one day, wow, what a record. Not.
Sighing, Jordan took off her scarf and flipped her curly hair over her shoulder as she sat down and looked into the red fire. She then noticed Elizabeth next to her and smiled warmly. Then her smile slowly faded as she realized, that Katie might've talked to Jordan. Oh no. That wouldn't be good. Not good at all. Jordan sighed again and laid her head on the chair behind her, closed her eyes, and imagined this all away.

Elizabeth spotted Jordan coming in and then wondered why Jordan was not so, so herself. Elizabeth turned to face Jordan and looked her in the eye. "Hi Jordan." Elizabeth said flatly it was a more 'Hi jordan, what's your prob?!' then anything else. Elizabeth decided that that was simply not a way to greet a friend.
"Sorry, so I'm guessing you are having some troubles." said Elizabeth as she put her journal down on the floor. " If there is something bothering you, you can tell me." she said, putting her legs up on the chair and her chin against her hand. I should be a physcoligist thought Elizabeth dully as she waited for Jordan to answer her. Elizabeth would always be there for Katie and Jordan, mainly because they were her two closest friends.
Latley Elizabeth had become the peacemaker of everyone, it was very wierd to Elizabeth. She sat there just looking distractedly at the fire for a minute or so and turned back towards Jordan feeling very awkward at the moment. And then Elizabeth noticed something about Jordan, about her features. "What did you do to your hair? I like it, it's new, very cool." said Elizabeth in approvel as she examined Jordan's new hairstyle. Elizabeth had always wanted her hair to be curly and she wanted to get a perm, but unfourtunatley her mum had never let her.

Katie walked down the hallway with tears still going down her checks. Her eyes swollen and red and a frown on her face. She needed to talk to Liz right now she needed to talk to some one. The first person she would go to would be Jordan but she didnt wont to be around Katie at the moment. So then the next personwould have to be Liz a fellow Gryffindor first year. Katie open the door to the student lounge and enter greeted by the warmth. She smiled and continued to walk on looking for Liz or some one else that she could talk too.
Katie spotted her friend and squealed and ran over towards Liz and gave her a big hug and swinged her around in her arms. "Liz I been looking for you I really need to talk to you." Katie said leting go of her friend and looking to her right and noticed Jordan. Katie looked at her shocked and took a step back and glared at her. She than looked from Liz to Jordan with her angry eyes and she felt her anger rise.

Jordan looked up at Liz and smiled as she asked about her hair. Jordan was about to answer when Katie ran in and started to ramble and cry and then turned very mad in less than 5 seconds. Jordan figured this was because, of their episode earlier and she frankly didn't care. There was a lot of things Jordan wasn't wanting to think about right then, and Katie was one of them.
Her eyes moved from Liz's to Katie's and then back to Liz's again as the silence engulfed them. Jordan hated awkward silences, right now she would kill for Pat, chocolates, and a television with I Love Lucy on it. It just all seemed appealing to her right now, the muggle life that was. Right then Jordan wished she wasn't a witch, and that she could stay home on weekends and go out with Jason and do all the muggle things she used to do. But, she knew that could never happen. Ever.

Elizabeth up whhen she heard Katie's excited voice and turned towards her. Elizabeth then saw right where she was and knew idmediatley that she should've stayed in her dormitry. Elizabeth saw the furry in Katie's eyes and was really regretting being where she was at the moment. Elizabeth looked from Jordan to Katie and then she looked down. She had now realized why Jordan's smile had faded and why she was now looking like she would rather be anywhere but here. Elizabeth knew they had been in a fight of some sort and started to shrink back in her chair, nervously scratching her head. oh crud she thought this is definatley not good, not good at all Elizabeth then stood up to her full height and looked at both Katie and Jordan.
"ok Katie, calm down. Now sit. We need order here. We need to sort this all out. The past few weeks I have tried to live with you people, but you are driving me insane with your constent bickering and nonsense and I have had it up to here with both of you." she said, putting her hand over her head and then glaring at the two girls. Elizabeth had never felt more like a mother in all her life and she did not notice her tone of voice or how she was talking to the girls.
"Now everyone just take a deep breath. Breathe in . . . breathe out. . . Very good. I don't want any yelling or screaming or any nasty come backs, now tell me, what is your problem?" Elizabeth said, addressing the two girls in the same tone of voice she was using.

Jordan looked at Elizabeth, she certainly didn't understand what Jordan was trying to do. She wouldn't until she had a sister that was growing into a teenager, and wearing make up as well. Now, Jordan understood how Chris felt on Jordan's 13 birthday and she now understood why he had acted the way he had when she spent Christmas break with Dillion. She understood it perfectly.
Looking from Elizabeth to Katie, Jordan started to speak to both of them. She didn't want to fight with Katie, but this was unacceptable. What would happen if Jordan let Katie do this until she was 15 or 16? What would happen? Jordan shuddered at the thought. Her lips formed a "I" shape and Jordan sighed before closing her eyes and leaving the sutdent lounge, but not before pausing at the doorway.
"I don't care anymore." Jordan said, and then she pushed open the door, and left the room to wander down the halls aimlessly in wondering and confusion torment.
