Molly had just finished her potion homework after three hours of pouring over useless books and daydreaming about the pranks she wanted to pull on Snape for giving her so much homework.
All she was doing during class was talking to her friend. She didn't lose any points from her house, but gained a lot of extra homework. how I absolutley hate him!!! thought Molly to herself as she got up and walked towards the door to the dormitries. She ran down the stairs as fast as she could to get away from all the noise and crowds of people that were overflowing the common room.
Molly climbed out the portrait hole and headed towardsher most favorite place to relax, which was the Student Lounge.
When Molly got there she idmeddiatley spotted her favorite chair by the fire and gratefully sat down in it. She stared into the fire as she wondered if there was some way to make the homework pile go down a bit.

Jordan Cortes turned right around a corner, still chatting non-chalantly with her small group of friends that she had seen on her way to the student lounge. She laughed loudly and hugged them all goobye before pushing open the oak door and stepping into the quiet and still room which was the Student Lounge. The fire cackled in the fireplace and the sound Wizard's Chess erupted into the still room.
Sighing heavily, Jordan sat her books and things down on the table that wasn't occupied. She slipped out her sketchbook and lead pencils, and made her way to the chair in front of the fire but off to the side. Once Jordan had sat down, she pulled her hair up into a messey bun that shook everytime she moved. The loose hairs were tickling her neck, and she swiped at them with her free hand as she continued to draw the image she had begun drawing in potions.
The pencil moved swiftly over the rough sketch paper and made a slight scratching noise. Her thumb dragged across a few lines and smeared the image, but that was okay, it gave it more of a spectral look. Her brow furrowed and her tongue stuck out as the pencil continued to lead her hand through the course of drawing an image from imagination. She was so engulfed in her work, she didn't realize someone sitting across from her.

Hearing the door open Molly turned her attention to someone that had sat near her who was drawing something, but she couldn't see what it was. She leaned over her chair as she introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Molly... what are you drawing?" said Molly as she pulled her hair out of her eyes.
"I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, but I think I've seen you around before... is your name Jordan?" The girl looked somewhat farmiliar and Molly swore she had heard one of the girl's friends call her Jordan.

Jordan nearly jumped three feet into the air when she realized someone else was near the fire. She peered up from her work, and steadied her beating heart. She smiled, and faced the sketchbook to face Molly. It was of an unicorn, still and peaceful, yet so harsh and betroding.
"Yes, I'm Jordan. How'd you know?" She asked, as she flipped the drawing back to face her and continued to draw the graceful unicorn. Jordan had been neglecting her artwork, she hadn't drawn in ages and even if she did draw it ended up horrible. School was becoming hectic and life at home wasn't very good as well. Her art was slipping through her grasps and Jordan was well aware of this, but there really wasn't anything she could do.
"It's a unicorn, if you didn't know." Jordan added with a thoughtful smile and gleam in her eye. She looked at molly, she was a Gryffindor. Maybe in her 4th or 5th year, she looked a little older then Jordan herself, and this made Jordan a little more nervous than usual. The only people she talked to her were older than her, were the once she trusted most. But, Jordan had never met this Molly before, so she wasn't quite sure on how to act around her.

Molly looked at Jordan's picture of the unicorn, she thought it was really good, lovley and graceful and a hint of firceness in its eyes, just like a unicorn should look like. "wow! Love your picture..." she paused for a moment at Jordan's question, "I know your name because I've seen you around before and I have heard people call you Jordan, so I just assumed that that was what your name was." Molly smiled a warm smile, that seemed to brighten the room a bit.
"I didn't mean to startle you by the way." added Molly. She had a habbit of doing that. She sat up a little more in her chair and tucked her long legs under her in a sort of kneeling postion.

Jordan smiled at the compliment, and quickly put her drawing away so her full attention was on Molly. Why Jordan wasn't being her normal self, she didn't know, all she knew is that her hyper side had been stored away for awhile on account of the wedding that was to take place in April.
To get into a more comfortable position Jordan tucked her legs under her, as did Molly, and laid her head on the arm rest. Her long dark brown hair flopping over in the bun that she had hastily put up.
"Well, that isn't unexpected. I am well-known around here, just didn't think I was that well known.Oh, and it's okay about you startling me...I've been a bit jumpy lately."Jordan said, she wasn't trying to be modest, so she didn't talk modestly. But she did decide that she would speak the truth and make it less truth-ful. Something in Jordan had changed, she didn't know what. But it had.

Molly looked at Jordan wondering what they could possibly talk about so that they would not bore eachother to death. "Do you like pranks?" said Molly with a little twinkle in her eye. Molly was known in the muggle world for being a bit of a prankster, and she knew she could get along with anyone that loved them as much as herself.
Molly thought about the ultimate prank on Snape that she had been planning since the day Snape gave her detention. It's pay back time. Molly always had the last laugh and wasn't going to let Snape take it away from her.

Jordan looked at Molly as she mentioned pranks. Immediately Jordan's old self returned and her rambling over flowed. She was quickly reminded of Dillion and his acessive rambling and laughed lightly as she answered honestly.
"Like? No not in the least bit. I love them! That's practically all I live for! Besides my art that is! But, oh, do you like them? Of course you do! You wouldn't have asked me if you didn't!" She rambled, her eyes aglaze with happiness that was so genuine that even she couldn't handle it. Her teeth chattered with excitement and her ears buzzed with business.
"Dillion and I ,oh Dillion is my partner in crime he's a sixth year Huffle, we did a prank at the Halloween Ball. Too bad it didn't work out, we were all excited about it. Did you go to it? Maybe you saw our prank hopping around. It was a frog that spurt out fireworks." Jordan continued, bringing Dill into the conversation and bubbiling brightly with joy that she had finally found another trickster.

Brooke had gotten a whole paragraph finished on some stupid Herbology essay when she threw down her quill and stomped out of the common room.
'Stupid Herbology,' she thought to herself, 'Almost as bad as potions.'
Brooke made her way towards the large doors in the entrance hall in hopes of taking a walk, but one look out the window told her that wasn't going to happen. A snow storm that she didn't particularly care to be in the middle of was raging outside.
So she made her way to the student lounge. Upon arriving she spotted Jordan talking to a girl she didn't know. She had seen her around in the Gryffindor Common Room, but she didn't exactly know who she was, so she decided to walk up to the two.
"Hey Jordan," she said taking a seat beside her. She turned to look at the other girl, "Hi. I'm Brooke. Brooke White."

Before Molly could respond, she herd the door open once again and saw a girl coming towards them and sitting down. "Hi Brooke, I'm Molly Stanford, we were just talkiing about pranks and I was wondering if you're into them too." Molly smiled warmly with that sme twinkle in her eye as she started talking about pranks again.
Oh the joy she felt whenever she pranked someone, or talked about them. She got it from her father who also loved doing pranks. Her and her father were almost exactly alike - except for the part about Molly being a witch like her mother. As far as Molly knew, she had gained nothing from her mother except for her looks and the whole witch thing. She couldn't remember her mother since she died almost instantly after Molly was born, and so she never acually missed her mother, but she did miss having a mother.

Brooke smiled her mischeivous grin.
"Ah, the joy of a good prank. I am totally all for pranks. I own just about every prank book known to wizard."
Brooke laughed, "Most of them have some rather odd names. . . I haven't pranked in a while though. I haven't exactly been in a pranking mood. But now I'm ready for some action.

Jordan looked up as Brooke entered the Lounge. She smiled warmly at her friend, and made room for her to sit down. Fiddling with the pearls around her neck, Jordan listened to Brooke and Molly talk. When she heard Brooke mention books with odd names she decided it was time to enter.
"Oh! Do you have Captain Whilly's Whizabang?" She asked, referring to the joke and prank book of the muggle world. She was pretty sure Brooke would have it. Captain Whilly was famous for his practical jokes such as; putting glue on tooth brushes of the people he hated. Jordan smiled at the memory of doing that to her brother, she enjoyed it immensely.
Jordan was a jokester. A trickster. A prankster. A mischief maker. Whatever you wanted to call it. One thing Jordan loved, was trouble. And she knew how to make plenty of it. She had chosen the path of fun and laughs, instead of study and boredness like her brother Justin. Only, her joking was boosted when she realized she was a witch and could use magic for pranks.Potions and Charms easily became two of her favorite subjects, because of the great use of ingredients and spells that were at reach for her for pranks.

Brooke smiled at the thought of Captain Willy. She had that book alright. That was one of the first ones she had ever read.
"Yeah I've got it. I just sort of made the mistake of putting permanent sticking glue on a toothbrush once. That ended in a lot of incoherent yelling and a long trip to St. Mungo's."
Brooke laughed at the memory of it.
