Mammy and Pappy,
My friend, Mia Fleming you know her, has asked me to spend the break with her in Ireland. I told her I might, but I would have to check with you first. Is there any reason, beside the fact that it's tradition, that I can not go? This would mean everything to me if I could. And I do mean everything. So I am fully willing to get on my hands and knees and beg, even though you probably can not see it.
Love Tenderly, Elina

Elina,
After much consideration and thought we have decided that it would be alright for you to spend the break with Maria, considering how much we are happy you are becoming more social. On one condition may you go, you must come here and have one morning with us. And as tempting as you begging sounds, dear Elina, we must refuse; simply for your own well-being.
Love, Ma & Pa
