Ivy frowned unhappily as she moved her way through the Hospital Wing. Luckily Sadie and Laura were just about all right but the fact they had been hurt at all still mattered. It was a huge shock to her and she hadn't even been there. And her friends weren't the worst off. There were other people that hadn't been rescued from the wreckage the Death Eaters had wrought... and apparently there had been giants there too. It must have been terrifying. Ivy was glad she hadn't been there. But she wished it hadn't happened. She was all shaky now. She couldn't stop shaking at the thought of it. And that was at the thought of it. She hadn't even been there. But all of these unfortunate people around her had. So if she knew them, she would do her best to help them. She'd talk to them, that was the best she could do really. She hadn't come across anyone she knew for a while though. That was something to be glad about.
Ivy did a double take. She knew the person lying in that bed, but she didn't particularly want to talk to him. Talking to him was never anywhere near the top of her list of priorities and nor was it on the list of her favourite things to do. But... well she'd decided if she knew them, she'd see if they wanted to talk to them. And she did know him. And he looked hurt. And it these were special circumstances. So she would go and talk to him. Just for a short while. A very short while. Ivy made her way over to the bed Payton Moore was lying in and since he was awake smiled tentatively at him and sat down on the chair next to his bed. She didn't know what to say to him though. "You don't look too well to be honest," she told him in the end. "Are you feeling okay?"

The light seemed to make his head throb even worse, so even though he had been conscious for hours now, he still avoided opening them unless he was being spoken too. Instead, he tried to lay as comfortable as he could, which was no easy task considering his arm was carefully cast and put in a sling to minimize its movement, but it also caused it to rest upon his rather bruised and fractured ribs. When he first woke up he had taking his uninjured arm and tried to figure out if there was anymore damage besides the broken bones, and he determined that he had a nasty scratch on his left cheek, and some rater uncomfortable bruises on his shoulders.
He was currently examining the insides of his eyelids, while trying to remember what happened...or anything really, but it seemed the harder he tried to remember things the spotter his memory got. The event he drew a total blank on, well, most of life he was drawing a blank on, but reminders seemed to trigger him...like his family...it took him a moment, but at least he was starting to remember all of them.
He heard someone talk to him, and he turned his head slightly and cracked one eye open. It was a girl...he was sure he had seen her before, but that was about as far as he was getting. "I've been better." He sighed, and looked up again, trying to remember who she was, but still, nothing came to mind. "Um...would you mind reminding me of who you are? Everythings being a bit foggy."

For some reason Ivy couldn't quite place herself, she nodded and gave a tired smile as Payton said he'd been better. He obviously still had his sense of humour, such as it was. For another reason she found even harder to place, she actually found it amusing that he had no idea who she was. For a moment she toyed with the idea of not telling him properly who she was, of not telling him she was Kiyla's friend and putting things in perspective. She didn't know what had happened to him in Diagon Alley, but he looked the worse for wear and both Laura and Sadie hadn't looked as bad as he did. Although Sadie was having some trouble remembering things. Ivy frowned suddenly. She hoped the Death Eaters hadn't put some sort of memory curse on everyone they could. The very thought made her shudder. What would she do without the memory of her father to set her standards by, and the memories she shared with her friends?
Ivy hoped Payton hadn't noticed her pause, although it probably had been a considerable amount of time she'd left. Half of her was surprised that if he didn't know who she was and her general opinion of him, he hadn't already started trying to charm her. His head must be really hurting. "I'm Ivy Tunstall," she said carefully. "Kiyla's friend," she added pointedly. "Do you remember Kiyla?" she asked, partly wryly, partly with a trace of bitterness. It probably wasn't entirely fair, and it was partly her shock at the fact there had been Death Eaters attacked speaking. But if they could attack Charles Driscoll in Hogwarts, why hadn't she assumed they could attack other friends in Diagon Alley? It just seemed nothing could prepare her for each new threat and shock.

He knew there was a pause between when he asked who she was and her answer, but it didn't bother him. Between the fact that his head was still not as stable as he felt that it should be and the fact that his sense of time seemed to be a bit off, he hardly noticed. Ivy. Thats what she said her name was--Ivy. He thought for a moment, letting his eyes close as he tried to place the name. Ivy...wasn't there a plant called Ivy? Maybe, but then he wasn't entirely sure of that either. The girl mentioned another named and asked if he remembered her as well. He tried for a moment, thinking of the few names he did recall and the faces that for some reason in his head even though he didn't really know why or who they actually were. No...the name made him feel something in the pit of his stomach, but that seemed to be it.
"No...sorry, but I'm afraid I don't remember. It feels like I should, but...nothing." His eyes opened his eyes and looked back in her direction. He would have shook his head from side to site as an answer as well, but the action seemed to make his head throb. "Its not personal, seems I'm having a hard time remember people. Took me almost a day of some odd man telling he was my Pops before I started to remember him."
