Hufflepuff vs. Ravenclaw!

"Yes!!!!!"exclaimed Celina triumphantly, as she scored a goal. Things were certainly going Ravenclaw's way. She did a quick celebratory somersault in the air before getting her focus back to the game. Seeing Catalina try to intercept a pass between the Hufflepuff keeper and a chaser, Celina decided it would be best for her to hang around the goal hoops, in case Cat got it and wished to pass. Right enough she was. Catalina did intercept the pass, before throwing the quaffle to Celina. Rushing forward, she held out her arms to catch the quaffle.

This was turning out to be a horrible game. All she wanted to do was get off her broom and run to the bathroom. It wasn't like it woudl make much difference. She hadn't been even remotly sucessful! She looke dup though, and saw that a Ravenclaw had once again let the quaffle loose. She decided that she still had to try. Even if she didn't want too, she owed that to the team. She rushed forward, stretching her aching arm out to try and grab the ball.

Valerie cringed when she saw Kim take a serious hit from a bludger. That Jaquin kid was single handedly dismantling her team! "Time out!" She said as she flew up to Madam Hooch. "I want a sub, I want Gram in for Hannah." Flying down to the Hufflepuff bench, Valerie pointed at Gram. Even though he was sick and couldn't play earlier, they needed him NOW. "Gram, go get that Jaquin kid, keep him off of us!" Though Valerie knew Jaquin wasn't trying to injure them, this couldn't go on.

Alexa screamed with joy as Celina scored, Ravenclaw was now up by fifty points! “Good going Celina,” she called to her as she flew by after Catalina, who now had possession of the quaffle. Catalina passed back to Celina, she hoped she would try to score again, either way Alexa would stay close by just in case.

[Ivy Tunstall]

Ivy didn't feel very confident. It was obvious that the Ravenclaw team were just so much better than them. Their Chasers were far superior to her, and had scored 5 goals while Hufflepuff had scored none. One of their beaters was causing havoc for the team. It just wasn't fair. Ivy felt like giving up.

Then Valerie substituted Gram into the game. He was a good beater, and she took heart from it. There was no reason why she should let the Ravenclaws tread all over Hufflepuff. They didn't seem to have much sportsmanship, and she didn't like that. She had to do her best. Whatever.

Ivy threw a sympathetic glance to Nokomis. This game was absolutely terrible, and Nokomis had sustained a bad Bludger hit too. She was still going though, and Ivy admired her for it.

Ivy moved forward swiftly. A Ravenclaw had the Quaffle, and she wanted it. Reaching out, she attempted to steal the Quaffle off the Raveclaw Chaser who had scored just before.

Looking up from his seat on the bench Gram watched as the game went on. He was torn. He loved quidditch but felt a bit sick. The Huffie team was loosing as he noticed Valerie point him out. She put him into the game.

Grabbing his broom he mounted it as he flew into the air. With his bat in his hand he found the nearest bludger and with all of his might hit it in Jaquin's direction. He already did to much damage to his team already.

JOrdan winced as the bludger hit Kim. She gave an apologetic smile to her as she flew off. Gram and Hannah traded and this made up for some lost times. She watched as Gram swung a bludger at Jaquin, she held her breath waiting to see if it hit. No time.

She saw Celina had the quaffle. She narrowed her eyes and looked for a bludger, saw one and flew after it. She switched the bat from her right hand to her left, she had been waiting to use her stronger hand...but she didnt think it necessary at certain times, now it was. She swung at the bludger, aiming it to Celina. Even if she didn't make it...Ivy could still steal it.

He knew that he mas kaing a habbit of staying on the outskirts of the game, but considering that only a few days before he still considered playing beater a form of stress relief, being in a competitive game was taking a whole new lease on things. Of course, he did know when it was time to step in, and the Hufflepuff beater attempting to send a bludger flying at Celiena, meant it was time. He leaned foward his broom racing, and raised his bad in attempt to block any shot made.

Jaquin saw a bludger soar towards him, and swerved around. Then, with his bat, he swung at the incoming bludger, endeavoring to deflect it and redirect its course back at Gram, knowing that the Hufflepuffs were bent on revenge. (hit it back at Gram)

Jaquin did not even wince when the bludger scraped his knee. Instead, he set his mind on doing as much damage to the opposing team as he could. He flew towards the bludger that had just been hit and aimed it directly at Gram and once again directed the bludger towards the enemy beater. (attack on Gram)

Gram grins as he sees his bludger hit Jaquin. Seeing him quickly turning he hit a bludger back to him. Seeing it fly right toward him he held his bat up as he hit it in retaliation towards the Reciver- Jaquin.

[The Golden Snitch]

The Golden Snitch was enjoying the free time to roam about the pitch. Darting this way and that it tossed in the wind. Whizzing past players it had managed to buzz one girl who swatted it away as if it were a pesky bug. Circling the pitch three times at high speed the snitch then swooped to the grass floor where it rested for a few minutes. Then with renewed energy, the snitch zoomed through all three goal hoops then darted down to the other end of the pitch where it did several loops into and out of the middle goal hoop. The snitch then began to whiz to and fro in a wild zig zag pattern around the girl in blue robes who was by the goal hoops. That girl had been alone for a really long time as the game had gone on for a long time down at the other end of the pitch. She looked quite lonely so the snitch decided to keep her company.

Cho circled over the field above the other players and watched the game unfolding. Ravenclaw had built up a nice lead but it was all for naught if she didn't catch the snitch before Valerie. Naturally she flew towards the Hufflepuff goal hoops as the action headed back down that way once more. With the players flying about there it would be harder to spot a tiny flash of gold. With her eyes squinted, Cho searched hard for any sign of the snitch. Turning her broom once more she flew back towards the middle of the pitch when something caught her eye. Down on the far end of the pitch near Dorian, something was sparkling. Flying closer to the center of the pitch, Cho squinted again trying to not let Valerie see her. Something was whipping about and it appeared gold, could it be the snitch? Speeding up her broom Cho flew towards her own goal hoops and closer to something shiny. As she drew nearer it became clear by the motion of the spark that it was the snitch! It was now or never! Forcing her broom into a sharp dive, Cho plunged straight for Dorian and the snitch!

Grabbing hold of the quaffle, Celina swiftly turned around to face the once formidable goal hoops. Racing to the one furthest from the Hufflepuff keeper, she extended her right arm backwards as far as she could, and threw the quaffle with all her might at the goal hoop. Holding her breath, she waited, following its path with her eyes. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. The game was almost over now and Celina knew it. Willing the quaffle to go through, she watched silently.

From the corne rof his eye he saw Cho take off and assumed she must have caught some distant flutter of gold. If thats what was what the game can come down it, he decided his focus was not needed against the HUfflepuff beaters. That was the best way to protect the Ravenclaw seeker. After finding the nearest bludger, he swun his bat and directed it towards Jordan.

Valerie was more intent now on getting the snitch than ever before, they were down 50-0 but if she got the snitch it wouldn't matter. Circling the pitch she was grateful that Jordan, Hannah and Gram were keeping her safe from bludgers so she could focus on the snitch. As she flew down the pitch her eyes scanned all over the field for the tiny snitch. As she flew around the goal hoops and prepared to head back down the pitch, Valerie saw Cho heading the other direction, turning around Valerie followed her down the pitch. As Cho speed up, Valeriet oo sped up, her eyes looking down the field. Squinting her eyes she suddenly let out a gasp! There it was! The snitch was right there by the Ravenclaw keeper! Pulling her broom hard to the left, Valerie turned sharply and sped after the snitch with her arm outstretched, trying to grab the tiny ball.
