(Oh...sorry.  ) Jordan smiled at Ivy as she raised her eyebrows at Jordan. Jordan smiled again and looked at Kiyla and Brett. "So, what have you been up to Brett? Anything exciting? Have you seen a frog hopping around here?" Jordan grinned mischeviously and took a sip of her pumpkin juice. |

Brett looked at Jordan, suspicously. He had seen a frog hopping around and he wondered if Jordan had anything to do with that.
"No nothing exciting. Rather boring. And yes I have seen a frog around. Why do you ask that? Do have any idea what shes talking bout?" He asked as he stuffed his hands in his pockets.

"No idea..." Kiyla said eying Jordan suspiously. She had mentioned a joke and was wondering if the frog had something to do with it.
"So... have you... danced much?" Kiyla asked Brett as she looked out into the dancefloor seeing everyone out there dancing. She wanted to dance but was too shy. Kiyla couldn't help her shyness.

Jordan giggled as they asked about the frog.
"Youll see." Was all she said. Jordan then took the last drink of her pumpkin juice and set the cup down.
"I;m going to dance. Peace peoples." Jordan then stood up and walked rather quickly to the dance floor.

Brett smiled as Kiyla asked if he had danced much. He shook his head.
"No not really. Do you want to?" He asked. He scratched the back of his head out of nervousness and looked at Kiyla.

Kiyla blushed and nodded at Brett.
"Sure..." She said she glanced at Ivy and said, "Well be right back promise!"
She took his hand and instantly she shivered. Not because she was cold but because she liked him. A lot.

Brett smiled as she took his hand. He led her out onto the dance floor. And listened as the music turned from upbeat to rather slow. He smiled lightly.
"Dancing isn't my strong suit, I warn you. You might get broken toes." Brett said with a nervous laugh.

Hearing the music change from the lively upbeat to the slow types, Jordan retreated back to the table at which Ivy sat. Jordan looked back and saw Brett and Kiyla dancing. She smiled and sat down.
"Now I can ask, having any fun?" Jordan asked, repeating the question from earlier.

Kiyla smiled at Brett.
"Well, I only learned. It's not that hard. Payton taught me." Kiyla said absently smiling at the memory. She took Brett's hand in hers and put the other around his neck.

Brett smiled.
"Ahh, Payton. I see. Was he a good dancer?" He asked as he held her hand and put his other hand on her waist. He wasn't a good dancer, he was rahter bad actually. And he knew this, so he wanted to make sure he didn't step on her toes.

"Actually yeah. He is a pretty good dancer..." Kiyla said nodding absently feeling sort of weird talking about Payton with Brett.
"So um... are you having fun?" Kiyla asked changing the subject.

Brett nodded about her comment of Payton being a good dancer. She then asked him if he was having a good time.
"Yeah. I like spending time with you. And I get to meet new people. That's good." Brett answered with a warm smile.

Kiyla nodded agreeing with him.
"I'm glad that you have won Ivy's approval." Kiyla said with a grin and a quick glance at Ivy to see Jordan had come back.

"Ivy seems like a cool person. I'm glad she at least likes me a little. I don't think I want to get on her bad side." Brett said with a smile as they continued to dance.

"No.. you don't but she really doesn't have one..." Kiyla said thoughtfully. She smiled up at Brett again and just looked in his eyes as they danced with the rhythm of the music.

"Well that's good. Having a bad side can be really horrible at times." Brett said with a smile. There was silence for a while, but it didn't bother him. He was staring at her again, he knew he should stop but....

Kiyla continued to look at Brett she leaned foreward a little just about to touch his lips then stopped and whispered in his ear, "I'll only do it if you want me to.."
She closed her eyes wating for his answer.

Ivy looked away from the couple of Brett and Kiyla to Jordan.
"Having fun? Well, watching those two." she replied with a grin. "Now Brett is the sort of guy I think Kiyla should be with," she continued, glancing at the couple again as she spoke. They looked happy. Ivy wondered if Payton would notice. What did it matter if he did? she thought. It would hardly do any harm.
"I think maybe I should get myself a guy." she said, grinning at Jordan again.

Brett watched as Kiyla leaned into kiss him. She then stopped and whispered in his ear. He smiled. She was sweet.
"Do you want to?" He asked, "Because really thats all that matters. If you want it. Go for it. Because, its likely that I will want it too."

Jordan shrugged at Ivy's comment. Ivy seemed to like Brett, but Jordan didn't. Maybe it was because he reminded her way too much of her brother, but there was something she didn't like about him.
"I'm glad for Kiyla, but Brett just seems...i don't know. It's probably just me. It's my insecurities." Jordan said with a sigh. She then laughed at Ivy saying she needed a guy.
"You and me both. You and me both." She responded with a small smile.
