"Son of a bludger!!" Catalina instinctively said as the bludger hit her foot, she immediately turned to see just where Savannah had gone off to and left her along like that! Circling around her own end of the pitch she looked up to see Grace make a save, then throw the Quaffle off in her direction. Racing over she grabbed it before Dawn could and she then turned and zoomed down the field. Looking over her shoulder for someone to pass to. Straight at the goal keeper she raced as she saw out of the corner of her eye another blue robe. Closing in on the keeper more, Catalina then threw the Quaffle over to Celina.

Mary groaned as the Ravenclaw keeper made the save, nervousness forgotten in the heat of the game. She saw Dawn’s intercept fail as well and cringed. ‘This isn’t good’ she thought as she speed after Catalina who had the Quaffle now. They got closer and closer to Jersey and Mary feared Ravenclaw would score. She saw Catalina attempt a pass at to another Ravenclaw chaser and decided this was her chance to try and intercept. Mary put her Firebolt in full gear and came up between the girls reaching her hands out in an attempt to steal the Quaffle.

Celina had initially pulled out of the game, fearing she had way too much of homework to do. So while the vast majority of students were outdoors, either watching the game, or playing quidditch, Celina was sitting in the library trying to finish her Transfiguration homework.
However, it took a lot shorter than she had expected and by ten minutes into the game, she was done and was racing to the pitch, broom in hand. Catalina had mentioned that reserves were desperately needed for Ravenclaw and Celina felt it was her duty to be there in case she was needed.
The game was in full swing. No goals had been scored. Celina took her spot on a bench in the front row of spectators, next to a Ravenclaw reserve. Just five minutes later, she was called into the game to replace another chaser. Mounting her broom, Celina rose into the air.

The game was in the Slytherin's end of the pitch. Celina raced forwards, in full speed, finally drawing up parallel to Catalina. She was about to call out to Catalina to pass the quaffle to her when the Ravenclaw team captain swiftly turn around and threw the quaffle right at her. It was quick and it was a perfect aim. All Celina had to do was lean forwards and extend her arms, in an attempt to grab the quaffle.
((If I get it, I'd like to try and score,))

Post by Vincent Crabbe Jr. on Jan 19, 2005 17:57:22 GMT
Vincent grinned happily as his attack hit the mark. Not right on target - but a minor hit would do for now. As usual he became slightly complacent as he dwelled on it, but was shocked out of his reverie when he searched around for another one to hit. There was one available - and it was coming right at him! Vincent swerved round violently and swung his bat with great force at the Bludger. It pelted away.
Vincent chased after it, determined to attack with it, rather than let an enemy Beater do so. He caught up with it in time and looked around as he perfected his angle to see who he could aim it at. Seeing as he didn't have much time, he decided on the blue-robe who was making herself rather visible at the moment, by having possession of the bright red ball that one of the smaller Slytherin Chasers wanted.
((Attack on Celina, and I would like to block the next attack on a Slytherin player.))

Draco was flying high above the other players, always on the lookout for the snitch. Seeing the Ravenclaw keeper out of the corner of his eye, he smirked, "No way is the crow going to get it. Look at the size of the scrawny creature." As not very much of interest to Draco was actually occuring amongst the players below him, he felt he would entertain himself instead. Draco clutched his broom and flew right at the Ravenclaw seeker. As he brushed roughly against her, he turned around and shouted, "Are you sure you've eaten in the past one month? You look like you're about to fall off your broom....what with the breeze and all!!" And with that, he flew off, laughing hard.

Jersey felt a terrible feeling in the pit of her stomach as Mary failed to steal the quaffle from one of the Ravenclaw chasers. Jersey watched carefully as the quaffle was passed to one dressed in blue, watching for any sudden movements.
Jersey flew back and forth in front the goals, feeling the crisp air hit her face. Looking out to see what the next play was, she noticed the feeling in the pit of her stomach was gone, as she saw Vincent trying to attack Celina.

Savannah smacked the bludger away from Cho then turned in time to see another one hit Catalina. Celina now had the Quaffle and was going in for a score when another bludger flew towards her, there was no way Savannah was going to let someone get hit on her watch! Chasing down Celina she swung her bat at the bludger and tried to re direct it off in the direction of that weasel boy.

Jaquin definitely did not like the fact that Crabbe was pelting his team with as many bludgers as he could. The incessant attacks had to stop. So, Jaquin decided to take out the source itself, Crabbe. He flew towards the nearest bludger and whacked it as hard as he could in Crabbe's direction.

Perseus was infuriated as his bludger barely grazed the soft metal of the bludger. He watched as Jaquin whacked a bludger at Crabbe, but was unconcerned; he had every confidence in Crabbe. So, instead, he turned his attention to the other bludger, which had been roaming free. He accelerated at a prodigious speed and attempted to hit the bludger towards Jasmine Anderson, a Ravenclaw Chaser.

No! Savannah glared at the Slytherin beaters as they were holding the edge right now. There was a bludger heading towards Jasmine now! Turning to find Jaquin she saw that he was already busy launching an attack so she speed after Jasmine. "Jasmine! DUCK!" Savannah said as she flew past her with her bat held up and swung as hard as she could to block the shot and send it right back where it came from. ( Perseus )

NOT AGAIN!! The sound of Perseus's indignance and fury burned in his mind. That was the last time he would let that enemy beater block his attack. He launched himself fowards towards the bludger that hit Crabbe and whacked it as hard as he could towards Savannah, the enemy beater.

Jersey groaned as she saw the quaffle fly right past her. Hearing the Ravenclaw side go wild, Jersey let out a shout of anger. Feeling rather disappointed in herself, she grabbed the quaffle and flew over to pass it to Mary. "How could I let that happen? I was so prepared!" Jersey mumbled in disgust.
