He had settled into his new sroundings some time before, and decided to depart from the solitary confinment of his room and settle into one of the many overstuffed chairs before the fire. It was a prime location for both study and relaxation.
After makings his way down the stairs from his room, moving down the stairs slowly as his attemtion was on a small gathering group of girls--he had decided long ago that when it became to social behavior, females were much more intresting.
When the first finally disapeared up the stairds he looked forward again and finished his journy down to the loby and settled himself comfortably into one of the chairs.

Jaquin trudged through the snow, shouldering his Nimbus 2001. The wind blew pugnaciously as a blizzard began to accumulate. Flakes of snow were lifted from the ground and it blew into Jaquin. As he made his way across the white landscaped, the temperature was brought down to a frigid state. "Well, I'd better protect my broom," Jaquin thought. With a wave of his hand, his wand flew out of his sheath and he chanted, "Siermo Inferno...." A sphere of burning oxygen surrounded him and his broom, shielding him from the incursion of snow that continued to fly his way. Jaquin spotted the castle looming before him and made a run for it, his cloak billowing behind him. As he made it to the entrance of the Enchanted Castle, Jaquin found it to be packed with numerous students all hiding in the castle from the onslaught of the blizzard. They chatted incessantly about there ruined plans. However, the sound was harder to bear, as it resonated throughout the chamber. Jaquin's spelled dissapeared promptly as he entered the Castle. He didn't feel particularly happy about the rambunctious behavior the students exhibited.
The loquacious students seemed rather reticent and indignant when Jaquin strolled over, telling them to be quiet. He couldn't take it anymore. So, seeking a place of solitude, Jaquin spotted Kamron Leopold a fellow Ravenclaw, but in his 5th year. He knew Kamron to be a talented socialogist, a very intelligent student, and someone good to talk to, even though he was one year below Jaquin. Jaquin sat down on a couch next to Kamron and quickly conjured up another ball of fire to warm himself up with more efficacy. "So, what has the psychologist of the school been doing for the last few days?" Jaquin asked with a smile.

Hearing the familiar voice of Jaquin he looked over and gave his friend a wide smile, both from seeing his friend again and from the comment that he had made. While it was true that he was driven by a passion for psychological behavior, he hardly considered himself to hold any true amount of talent, not yet at least, and Jaquin had simply declared him the psychologist of the school.
“Taking full advantage of the change of scenery, it is amazing the sociological changes the students exhibit when taken out of a familiar situation.”<br> Noticing that Jaquin had lit a magical fire and seemed to be using it for warmth, he assumed what his friend had been doing that day.
“I see you decided to venture out despite the weather.”

"Yes, I have. I've been out all day. But, I hope that this storm- He waved his hand without concern -comes to a stop before midday. When do you think the tours in the caves are going to start? I've been looking foward to them, since we will be missing Care of Magical Creatures class. It seems to be a suitable replacement," Jaquin replied eloquently as he jesticulated with his hands. Of course, Jaquin also felt the urge to have another broom race. It would be great fun, especially in the face of the perilous winds the blizzard had created.
"I concur. Although it becomes throughly annoying after awhile," Jaquin answered. He stared with great exasperation at the interminable conversations that seemed to be issuing from the crowds of students.
"Anyways, would you like to explore the village? It'll be great fun. We can race down on our brooms and get large bottles of butterbeer when we get there. So, what do you say?"

A slight smile curled the corners of his lips at Jaquin’s suggestion, and he paused for a moment to consider it, or at least seem as if he was, though he already knew the answer. He had been in this castle since their arrival, and while the demonstration of social behavior was truly intriguing, one did need a bit of fresh air, and he had told himself that he needed a bit of vacation from his studies, even if they were self assigned.
“I think that sounds like a splendid idea. It is about time that I got out of the castle, and it has been far too long since I have been on my broom. I am happy I decided to bring the nimbus after all.”

"Great! I've got my broom right here," Jaquin said as he gave his Nimbus 2001 a little shake. He strolled outside to find that the pugnacious winds had stopped raging and the snow was not falling lightly. It seemed as if the sky was filled with miniscule butterflies, floating down towards the earth before settling among its fellows on the ground. Jaquin stretched out his legs and took a test ride with his Nimbus 2001, summersaulting as he came above 60 ft. in the air and landed smoothly in the soft snow. "Come on, Kamron," Jaquin called into the Castle. "We haven't got all day!" He paused and looked at the snow covered Enchanted Castle that was comprised of antediluvian rocks, each coarse and worn, but, the structure itself seemed as new as ever. There didn't seem to be a rock out of place or a crooked tower. It was unambiguously a magnificent peice of architecture.
After Kamron came out with his Nimbus, Jaquin counted down, "Five.... Four....... Three........ Two.........One and a half.......Now!" Jaquin kicked off and flew foward at a prodigious velocity, bringing the snow into the air. He soared foward and higher until he was higher than even the tallest tower of the Enchanted Castle.

It took Kamron a bit longer as he had to go back to his room to get his Nimbus before he could meet Jaquin outside. He hurried along though, stopping himself from observing a rather remarkable scene of his fellow students, one of which seemed to be filled with jealousy towards the other two. He told himself that this was his vacation too, and for at least part of the day, there would be no psychology.
After retrieving his broom his made his way back outside to see Jaquin already prepared. He mounted his broom and kicked off, making sure all was well with it before he waited for his friend to count down and the two beaters were off, racing across the sky towards the village. Kam decided as he fly closely to Jaqun's shoulder that he had missed flying too much, he had barley been on his broom since their last quidditch math, and that had to change.

"Come on, Kamron! Let's put the speed on!" Jaquin shouted over the high winds, as snow spattered on to his Quidditch goggles. He swerved to the right and went on a very steep dive, pulling up just in time, inches from the ground. Jaquin then regained altitude to keep his course straight. The snow suddenly intensified with belligerent choler at being thwarted by two people on brooms. It was as if the blizzard was attempting to swat away two exasperating mosquitos. As Jaquin flew onwards, Kamron was no where to be seen. Assuming that Kamron was ahead of him, Jaquin urged his broom to fly at a higher velocity and they soared through the accumulation of water vapor in the sky, narrowly dodging a volley of hail.
"Come on..... Where is he?" Jaquin thought as he wiped off the snow from his goggles. He spotted a plethora of lights on the ground and assumed that those lights were the lights of the village they had been heading to. So, Jaquin dived downwards and landed next to what looked like a replica of the Three Broomsticks. "But, where is Kamron?" Jaquin contemplated. "Perhaps he has already gone into the bar......"

He laughed as Jaquin encouraged and increase of speed, yes, it had been far too long since he had been on a broom in such a manor. He leaned forward , pushing his broom to reach even high speeds, feeling the icy snowflakes whip against his bare cheeks. As his speed increased, he felt the wind pick up, and he struggled to keep his broom on course. The snow seemed to be picked up, the storm intensifying around them as they raced towards the village. It was then that he noticed the Jaquin was no longer in sight, and wondered if he truly had been blown off course. He kept his broom racing forwards, never slowing, though he began to ease it towards the ground, looking for signs of life below him. In the distance he saw a faint glow, and fought against the wind to keep his broom straight on his course to it, finally coming in for a landing in front of a bookstore. He reached up and pulled his goggles off his head, they were too thickly coated with ice to get a clear view, and looked around. That was when he saw, a sign that looked as if it might be for a tavern and he started forward again. As he neared, he saw a boy just getting off his broom.
“Jaquin!”

"Kamron! There you are! I thought that you had already gotten here. Anyways.... Fancy a drink?" Jaquin said with an unconcerned voice. "Let's get in the restuarant before it gets too cold." Jaquin shouldered his Nimbus 2001 and melted the snow in front of him as he made his way towards the entrance of the building. The sign was obscured by the falling snow, so, Jaquin took extra precaution and was very conscientious as they entered the restuarant. He did not know what to expect. The owner, a frail, primeval man in sagging robes welcomed them heartily. Jaquin scrutinized his face and recognized him to be an older version of the man he had seen earlier in the painting in his and Perseus's room. He had the same prominent chin, high cheekbones, and the ever important eyeglass that had a chain attatched to it from his waist belt. "Good day, young sirs! I am the owner of this restuarant, the finest in this wizarding town; Bosn. My name is Count Kristoverus Unonburg," the old man greeted with an aire of importance. "Let me find some seats for you." He bustled over to a corner of the the restuarant and gestured for them to sit down. "Can I get you drinks?" the Count inquired.
"Yes, I would like some fresh pumpkin juice. Thank you," Jaquin answered politely.
As he waited for Kamron to choose a drink, Jaquin suddenly noticed how loud the restuarant was. Perhaps it was due to the fact that ever group of people were talking raucously and with great loquaciousness. Their voices drowned out the howling winds just outside the windows and went on, discoursing interminably about recent dissapearances that seemed to be linked to the Tom Riddle aka You-Know-Who.

"Yeah, the storm is brutal, took a flight to get here." He grinned slightly as he followed after Jaquin, making his way inside quickly to avoide a large clump of snow that fell form the sign right behind him.
"Butterbeer...please" He replied to the owner before turning slightly to look out at the crowd, listening to their mumbled comments about the latest state of the wizarding world and trying to decided how many negative aspects they could blame You-Know-Who for. He should his head slightly. Of course it was not a suprise, it was human nature to look for someone to blame, and who better than the Dark Lord himself. After all, no one would try and argue.
He turned back to Jaquin and shrugged slightly, at least his fellow ravenclaw had a greater sense of reality. "One would think they would eventually grow tired of that topic."

"Yes, one would grow tired........" Jaquin said wearily. "But, at least now everyone knows that he's back. The thing is, I don't think that most other wizarding countries cared much about You-Know-Who up until now. Just as most people rejected the truth in my 5th, I'm betting that here, in Switzerland, they have only begun to beleive in what Harry had to say." Jaquin trailed off and looked around at the opulent, multifarious decorations that ranged from an upside-down Christmas tree embellished with candles for the chandelier and primeval coats of arms and an antediluvian statue that towered over the guests with an aura of venerability; like an emperor upon his throne. A waiter strolled over to them with their drinks balanced on a sparkling silver tray. "Here are zer drinkz sirz," the waiter said as he placed the pumpkin juice and butterbeer down.
"Thank you," Jaquin said and continued his conversation with Kamron. "Well, I wasn't in with the D.A. as Perseus and I didn't need that training; we already figured out how to do the Patronus Charm and we have already perfected our dueling skills. What I'm really interested in, though, is the dark detectors the aurors use...."
