Jasmine was sitting on a bench with her back leaned up against the wall reading a book on potions. She than pushed back her dark brown hair that was in the way of her reading. Even know she was a Ravenclaw she was different she like potions and was okay at the subject. After a while of reading she closed the book lightly and looked out the window across the room and watched the snow fall lightly. It was late in the afternoon the normal time when people go skiing. Jasmine had only been to the village once and she passed a sign for a horse sleigh ride which she really wonted to go on. Jasmine than decide to just go on one by herself and she stood up and put on her blue jacket along with her Ravenclaw pride hat, scarf, and gloves.
After she was boundled up for the cold weather she walked out the castle and into the crisp air. Jasmine smiled as she heard the sound of her feet crouching in the snow. She loved winter and how pretty everything was. She continued to walk down the path where the village led humming her favorite song to herself lightly. She was thinking of all the gifts she got her friends becuase Christmas was just around the corner.

Perseus went down a snow covered hill at full speed, as he balanced himself upon his Firebolt. His dark green cloak billowed out behind him as the wind whipped past him and into his goggled eyes. Twisting and turning, Perseus managed not to get himself injured as he flew past a plethora of winter trees that littered the area. The sun shined with brilliance as it rose high into the sky, spreading penumbrae in every which way. As Perseus neared the castle, he saw flocks of students running about, belligerently attacking each other with bewitched snow balls. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!!!!!" Perseus yelled at them as he sped down towards them on his Firebolt. The students stood perplexed as if Perseus was insanely discombobulated. He had to admit, of course, that balancing yourself on top of a speeding Firebolt looked rather precarious. But, Perseus did not care; he just wanted to have fun.
As Perseus neared the castle entrance, he saw someone head outside. Panicking, Perseus shouted at the top of his lungs, "Watch out!!!" Perseus fell fowards, into the snow, as his Firebolt had stopped abruptly.

Jasmine than was snapped out of her thoughts as she heard someone screaming at her to watch out. She turned around and noticed Perseus on his Firebolt standing. That was a bold trick to try and Jasmine knew because at home she practice in the fields since she wonted to play seeker next year. Jasmine than walked over towards the older boy and knelled and laughed softly at Perseus as he was covered with snow. "Hey are you alright?" Jasmine asked still kneeling in the snow. She than picked up the Firebolt and handed it Perseus with a smile. "Sorry I got in the way I was just going to go on a sleigh ride would you like to join me?" Jasmine asked blushing slightly and still looking off into the distance at a ride going on at second.
Jasmine watched the beautiful Chestnut Gelding pick up his feet and trot in the snow. A smile spread across Jasmine face and she remembered her horse. In her mind she could see her 17.h black stallion walking next to her and bobing his head up and down. She than noticed that she was staring off into the distance and she looked at Perseus and continued to smile a chery smile. "Sorry I guess I really miss my horse. Normally I go home for the holidays and when I do I go to near by jumper shows and show in the three foot class and the flats." Jasmine said stopping herself before she went on talking constantly about horses. She couldn’t stop but think about horses she lived with them for six years and that what help her cope with her new soundings.

Perseus got up quickly, thoroughly windswept and offered his thanks as he took his Firebolt, "Yeah, I'm all right. Nothing wrong with standing on a Firebolt when its going 100 plus miles per hour, you know? It's great fun, really." He wiped the snow from his goggles and patted it off his cloak. Noticing that Jasmine was staring off into space at a couple of magnificent steeds, Perseus himself looked up at the mountainside, endeavoring to find a quicker and less parlous path when surfing on his Firebolt. As he turned his head, Perseus saw that Jasmine had a book clenched in her hand. Upon further scrutinization, Perseus found it to be a book about potions.
"You know, if you are ever interested in becoming a master a potions, I could always teach you how to brew them efficiently and throroughly," Perseus said with a warm smile. Back at Hogwarts, Perseus spent much of his time brewing advanced potions such as antidotes that could save one from near death or fatal injuries or invisibility potions whose effects could last for up to 3 months until the drinker wanted to get rid of the effects by drinking the counter potion. He had a strange affinity for the subtle sciences of potions and had an even greater talent for the muggle sciences of physics, astrophysics, chemistry, and mathematics. When Jasmine asked him if he would join her on a sleigh ride, Perseus answered, "Sure, why not?"

Jasmine laughed at his response on how fast the firebolt was. Jasmine had never been on the broom and she really wonted it for her sixth year since she was trying out for seeker. "Well I own a Nimbous 2002 I just mastered how to stand up and try not to fall." Jasmine said as she remembered the long summer nights on that broom and falling each time she tired to stood up. She than turned to the mountain Perseus was looking at. She smiled at the people going down it trying not to hit the trees. Just then she heard the potions and she lit up. "That would be great I love potions but my fellow Ravenclaws don’t seem to be interested in the subject as I am." Jasmine said smiling brightly and putting the book in her shoulder bag.
She than heard that Perseus would go on a sleigh ride with her and she smiled and grabbed his hand and walked over towards a free sleigh. As she reached the horse Jasmine than notice she was holding his hand and she pulled her away right away and blushed a deep red. As she hide her face looking at the horse that was in front of her she wondered if she liked Perseus more than a friend. He was smart kind and just the right person to be around. "Must be a fifteen year old not older and an Arabian may I say they are quite hot headed." Jasmine said examining the horse. She could tell any breed of horse by looking at their sturctre and the horse had a sleek body and not above 15 hands. She could also tell the age by looking at thier legs and teeth. "Owe Miss yes you are right now to go on this ride it is two sillings." the man said from the sleigh and Jasmine searched her pockets for the money. She than took it out and handed it the man and he opened the door for her. "Thanks..." Jasmine said stepping inside and siting down near the center right. She looked up at Peruses and smiled warmily waiting for him to sit down as well.

Perseus clambered on and sat down next to Jasmine on the sleigh. He listened to her talk enthusiastically about horses and how she could decipher their species by merely scrutinizing the horses body structure and fur color. It was unequivocal that Jasmine lived around horses just as Jaquin lived around linguistics, COMC, herbology, biology, and genetics and he, Perseus lived around potions, alchemy, physics, and mathematics. The driver patted the horses on their hinds and the sleigh gave a lurch as they sped down the path, towards a distant village that was obscured by a sheet of falling snow. The driver sat back and relaxed, giving Jasmine and Perseus an euphoric smile, "These horses know their way around zis area. So, I don't have to tell zem what to do."
The path had many unanticipated twists and turns which began to take a toll on Perseus, who was already pretty sick from the tumultuous ride down the mountain on his Firebolt. "So, where would you like to go when we get to the village?" Perseus inquired.

Jasmine smiled as Perseus sat next to her. She than turned her head to the other side and looked up the large snow caped mountain that looked like a pretty good run to go down. She hadn’t gone down the mountains yet maybe it was too much work for her just to get the boots on and head up the slopes. She sighed and heard that the man driving the sleigh said that horses knew their way around. It was easy to tell that Jasmine knew that the horses knew their way around. Due to the fact that their ears were perked up and they had a spring to their step. Jasmine went to many horse clinics to learn the movements of horses and the launage. Lena always told her that if you know how your horse acts and you can make a pretty good team in the show ring. But Jasmine already had a bond with her horse because she known him since he was just a foal. Apparently Midnights mother abounded the foal and the owner didn’t know what to do and she sold him to Lena but he hadn’t taken a drink from his mother in days so Lena tired to feed him. But Midnight didn’t take it so Jasmine tired and spent many nights in the stables trying to get him to drink. Finally he took the bottle and they have a strong bond.
As the snow fell lightly Jasmine heard Perseus ask a question. She than turned her head and smiled at him. "I don’t really know maybe one of the ski lounges for some hot chocolate. Is there a place you are really wonting to go too?" Jasmine said smiling and looking off at the snow. She loved to watch it come down and land on the ground. Jasmine than turned to the right and looking off into the distance at a beautiful view of the lake.

"Well, yes, there is..... I don't know if you would like to come, but, it is an excellent apothecary. I think it stocks grade A hazardous materials that I'll need in one of my antidotes," Perseus said with his eyes twinkling. "The antidote is rather sophisticated and it is one of my invention. It can heal anyone instantly not matter how injured or near death they are. It's most prominent ingredients are wolfsbane and asphodel, the first being very powerfully magic and asphodel, although associated with death can have opposite properties in which I can utilize by adding the right amount of insulators and conductors." He watched the hills and trees whip by and felt the cold air brush his face and bare hands. The sun shined through the dense cloud cover only to give very small amounts of alleviation from the impregnable cold winds. Perseus looked up at the billowing clouds in apathy and waited until they reached the village to speak.
When they arrived, Perseus jumped off and waited for Jasmine to get down. "So, would you like to go to the apothecary first or would you like to get a drink before heading over there?" Perseus inquired.

The view of the lake had stunned Jasmine. It was so beautiful with the ice on top and the snow covered mountains in the back ground. It was as if it had come out of a book that she read from the muggle world. Jasmine lived in the muggle world and didn’t always read books about her studies she read other books that muggles had wrote. The adventure, detail, and romance captivated her into reading more and more. Books is what help her try to stay in the world when she was younger. Her birth parnets didn't care about her, they ingored her and never even tried to talk to Jasmine. With that she started to read and taking her to a whole new place.
As Perseus spoke about a potion store Jasmine continued to stare at the view around her. "That sounds great if you ever need any company just ask me." Jasmine said and turned her head at her friend and smiled sweetly. She was having some sort of a good time and enjoyed being around her new friends. As her smile grew on her face she turned her head back to the view playing with her dark hair to calm down her nerves that bundled inside of her. She than noticed the lake had just passed by and she thought about ice skating. Even know she didn't know how to skate it looked fun to be able to twirl gracfully on the ice. Molly was an ice skater and she told her about it and it seemed interesting. Well the gliding not the falling.
The sleigh finally stopped in one of the villages and Jasmine didn’t know if she wonted to leave. It was just so calm and peaceful being pushed in a sleigh by her favorite animal. Just before she jumped down so turned to the driver and a sweet smile spread across her face, "Thank you." she said in her polite voice and jumped down. When she was had one foot on the ground her other foot seemed to have tripped her and she fell forward but caught herself on broad shoulders. She looked up at Perseus and laughed softly at how her feet always tripped her where ever she went. "Sorry that always happens but I normaly fall onto the ground." Jasmine said with a smile and still held on his shoulders without knowing.“How about the apothecary store first then some thing to drink later." Jasmine said looking up at Perseus and smiling sweetly.
