Mary laughed as she watched Jersey push everyone out of the way. Jersey then went directly to a puppy that had been in the store window while Mary preferred the reptiles. She then looked over and noticed the manager lecturing Jersey; she was almost surprised Jersey wasn’t going off on the man, but she knew if Jersey had she would not be allowed to see the puppy. Mary simply rolled her eyes and started looking in at the snakes and lizards. When she looked over once again she saw Jersey playing with the puppy and decided to go see it as well.
“Aww he’s so adorable.” Mary said when she reached them. She then bent down and pet the puppy as well. She laughed as he began licking her hand. “I just love dogs. They are so cute. Especially when they are the big dogs that scare everyone, they are my favourites.”
Jersey gave out a chuckle at Mary's remark about big dogs. Jersey had been playing with the dog for about 10 minutes, and she absolutely didn't want to leave it. Jersey could have probably stayed in store forever to play with that dog, but she didn't want to bore Mary. Therefore, Jersey gave the dog one last pet, and kissed its little nose, allowing the dog to lick her back. Jersey then handed the puppy back to the manager, and watched as the dog franctically moved around in his arms, trying to escape. Jersey didn't want a mushy goodbye and despite her cruelness, Jersey definately had a sensitive side. Jersey started feeling terrible, thinking of how sad the puppy is when its all alone. Jersey, who just wanted to leave ASAP, grabbed Mary by the arm and pulled her out of the store, not caring whether or not Mary in fact wanted to stay in there or not.
Once outside Jersey saw that it was snowing again, but it was calm and peaceful. She looked back into the store window and watched the manager place the puppy back. She had made contact with the puppy and sooner than you know it the puppy had been clawing at the window, obviously wanting Jersey. Jersey turned her head away from the window and faced Mary. "Sorry to pull you out like that Mary, I just wanted to get away from the dog after giving it back. As rude and crude as I may be sometimes to people, I absolutely have a sensitive side to me, that I in fact don't show much." Jersey put her head down to face the snow covered ground and she tried to clear her thoughts. Smiling, Jersey brought her head and looked at Mary, "C'mon Mary, I think there's some type of antique store up ahead, we can check out whats in there."

Mary watched as Jersey played with the puppy only joining in the game occasionally. They seemed to really take to each other. Mary glanced around the store for a little while until she suddenly felt Jersey pulling her out of the store. When they got outside Mary saw the manager putting the dog back as the clawed at the window for Jersey. ‘That’s so cute’ she thought but felt bad that it would be without a playmate for a while.
The crowd outside had gone leaving the street feeling quite tranquil. She then listened to Jersey apologize for pulling her out and talk about her sensitive side. “Oh it’s no problem at all; we all have our sensitive sides. We all resent them often as well, so I do understand. Just next time do you mind being more gentle?” Mary said rubbing her arm where Jersey had grabbed it and laughing slightly to show she was not really hurt.
“Antiques sounds great” Mary said smiling at Jersey. She had always loved furniture shopping and antiques were her favourite kind. The only problem was that she had filled her bedroom up so much with so many mismatched pieces the decorator had forced her to put some in other rooms.

Jersey took the lead to the antique store, smiling and cracking funny jokes to Mary on the way. Jersey feeling not a tad bit sad anymore over the puppy, smiled and acted like nothing happened. Once at the store Jersey turned her head towards the back towards Mary to give her a friendly smile. However, when she turned around she had accidently bumped into something that looked of expensive value, Jersey's heart jumped as she watched it wobble and then stand itself back up straight. "Close call." Jersey stated, rubbing her forhead. Looking closely at the store, Jersey wondered no more why she had bumped into the object to begin with, the store was completely cluttered with millions of things. She had trouble squeezing into the small areas to look at things that were of interest to her.
After looking around the store carefully for things that she liked. She had found 1 thing, it was an old flower vase. The thing looked to be about 100 years old. Jersey examined it closely and thought of her sister and her. Jersey remembered her and her sister had once broke a vase of her grandmother's. They were whipped severely. 'What if I bought this for grandmother, and gave it to her. She would probably die.' Jersey laughed and as bad as it sounded Jersey wouldn't mind if she died. However, a stroke of generousity swept through her and she picked it up and went to the counter to purchase it, smiling with delight as she handed the cashier the money.
The store hadn't been that big and she could see Mary from where she was standing, she had decided to join her and see what she had found. Jersey had always seperated from Mary whenever they shopped. This time she wanted to stay together. Smiling as she approached her Jersey began, "Thought I'd join you, I basically threw you out of the last store, not even caring if you were ready, so this time you can take all the time you want." Jersey gave Mary a very bright smile as she finished.

As Mary stepped into the shop she knew she could spend hours in there without seeing everything. She shuttered as Jersey nearly knocked something over. Mary could not stand unexpected loud noises, and even when they were expected she hated it. The only time she liked anything loud was when it was her music, which did not sound like shattering glass. Mary wandered around admiring this and that as she saw Jersey purchase a vase. She was just looking at a lovely bench with dragons carved into the sides when Jersey came over and said she was going to join her.
Mary nodded her head in acknowledgment happy to have some company. “What do you think of this piece?” she asked. “If I get it stained it will fit my room’s theme perfectly. I would have to take the one in my entrance hall out, but I think I prefer this anyways. Shoot you think they would ship this to England for me if I paid?” Mary continued lost in thought. Dragons would have to be Mary’s all time favourite animals. She was so excited in her first year when they had the dragons for the tri-wizards tournament. Her whole life she had collected dragon things and placed them around her room. It had gotten so you could not place your eye anywhere without seeing a dragon. It would have been considered overkill had the decorator not done it so subtly.
Mary then approached the woman behind the counter and inquired about the shipping arrangements. She was delighted when they said that they would do it. She then paid for the shipping to the same place in England that had stained all her furniture and told them that the bench would be paid for when it arrived in perfect condition. That having been dealt with the girls continued to peruse through the store.

"I think it's gorgeous and very intriging." Jersey exclaimed, as Mary asked her opinion on dragon carved bench. Jersey really did like the bench, dragons were always of intersest to her, but she would never herself buy such an item. Jersey waited near the bench, looking at items surrounding it, as Mary went to ask the lady behind the counter about shipping arrangements.
Jersey was in her own world, smiling and dazing over all the antiques around her, wanting them all for herself, even the ones that she didn't even like that much. As Mary came back with the good shipping news, Jersey gave her a smile. Jersey's eyes were now set on a gorgeous angel statue near by. It stood about as high as her, and it was cream in color. She had thought of her mother at that instant, for she collected angels of all sorts. Smiling and thinking of her happy memories, she carefully ran her hand around the angel, feeling the craftswork of such an item, and wondering if her mother and father were in fact angels in heaven. Such thoughts as this ran through Jersey's mind quite often, never tending to upset her at all, she accepted death very well, which is hard for most people to do.
Coming back to the real world Jersey walked over to Mary and told her to come and view the angel for herself. Jersey was definately fascinated by it, and she was glad to have Mary there to show it to. As Jersey showed her the angel, Jersey briefly explained her thoughts about her mother and father to Mary, hoping that she didn't mind too much.

As Mary walked back over to Jersey she observed her friend scrutinizing a statue of an angel. It was lovely and Mary really liked it. “They will ship to England you know.” Mary said, as she got close, noticing the look of awe on Jersey’s face. Jersey then told Mary to take a closer look and told her of an idea that her parents may be angels up in heaven. “I have always loved the idea of angels as well. I couldn’t bear to think that those who I have lost are really gone. But they really can’t be gone, if they were I wouldn’t be able to feel them like I occasionally do.”
Mary then continued to inspect the angel, finding little scratches that are natural through time. You can tell she has been loved.” She said simply while she persisted to look it over.

((Sorry for the posting delay, I've been pretty busy, but I'm good now ) Jersey contemplated Mary's shipping suggestion. She looked the angel up and down again and nodded. Jersey knew that the angel was too beautiful to ignore. Jersey strolled over to the counter as Mary had done and told the woman her situation. Just as she had said yes to Mary, the woman of course said yes to her. Jersey smiled and was extremely happy to know that she was going to be owning the angel statue. She didn't really care the price, as long as it was hers. With a big smile on her face she came back to where she had left Mary. "It's settled." Jersey began still, all smiles. "Hey, you still want to stay, or are you done looking? The only reason I'm kind of eh about this store is because I'm afraid if I stay in here any longer I will buy the whole entire store!" sarcasticly speaking, Jersey smiled as she looked down at her bag with the vase in it, 'good jesture, she'll love it'. Jersey was too happy to right now that nothing could ruin it.

Mary continued looking around as Jersey went and talked to the shopkeeper. Picking up this and that she found many things she liked; including several nice miniature statues. When Jersey returned Mary was glad that they would ship her angel as well, though she figured they would have. "That's good. Where are you having it sent? Your sisters new place or your grandmothers?" she asked, knowing Jersey would be moving in with her sister, but unsure as to when. "It is a very nice piece to build a garden around." she commented.
"Yes, we had best leave. If we don't you will have to share it with me." Mary said when Jersey mentioned buying the whole store if they didn't leave. "You know although we have been gone for what, a few hours? I have yet to find what I came for, a shirt to replace the one I forgot. I think I saw another clothing shop a little ways down the street; if you don't mind looking at clothes again?" Mary asked hopefully as the girls walked out of the store.
The street had been quiet before when the girls entered the antiques store, but it was deserted now. That scared Mary a little, she had never felt right being in an empty street. She was quite glad Jersey was there though, she had seen the glare the older girl could give and was thankful to have never been on the receiving end. Mary stuck out her tongue to catch some falling snow. You can't really taste the snow but it was something Mary had done ever since she was a little girl and it reminded her of when she was a child and carefree. Not that Mary's life had ever been particularly difficult, because she knew when to keep her mouth shut, but every life has it's problems.

((Sorry, once again for the 3 day delay on this post. )) Leaving was just what Jersey wanted to do, after saying that she would just buy the whole store if she stayed any longer. Mary chimed in saying how she still hasn't gotten the orange shirt which she came for and she said something about another clothing store. Jersey smiled, only half paying attention and nodded at her remark about the clothing store. Jersey really loved clothes too. Jersey thought about all the stuff in which she had boughten at the last one she went to and laughed. The 2 girls walked out of the store and into the deserted street. Jersey looked over to Mary and noticed that she seemed a bit tense, but then watched as Mary stuck out her tongue to catch a snowflake. Jersey, who wanted to make Mary feel okay about the deserted street decided to sing La's really loud, while spinning around and trying to catch a snowflake on her tongue, just as Mary had done. Smiling at the situation Jersey proceeded to the clothing store and put out her arm for Mary to enter first.

((trust me its no problem my life is totally crazy right now too )) Mary opened her eyes when she heard Jersey “singing”. She looked over and noticed the other girl spinning in circles while trying to catch snowflakes as well. Mary giggled at the spectacle; suddenly forgetting all her worries about being in the vacant street. She followed Jersey’s example and did a few turns herself before arriving at the store. Jersey held her arm out waiting for Mary to enter the store. Giggling again Mary gave her a slight mock curtsey and ducked into the shop. It was a small store but Mary would describe it as cozy as opposed to cramped. “Hello” she responded to the girl behind the counter who had greeted them. Turning right Mary walked over to a display on the wall. She picked up the red sleeve of the rap top; it did look very nice with those black pants. Not that Mary didn’t have a thousand outfits like it but she could always use one more. She glanced at the back of the store looking for the rest of those tops when she found it; the orange shirt. Mary almost squealed she was so happy; she had her shirt back, the world made sense once again. She ran over and grabbed two, one in small and one in medium to try on. She also took two of the red shirt that just happened to be right beside it. Mary speed walked over to Jersey. “Found it!” she exclaimed with a huge grin on her face.

As Jersey followed Mary's entrance into the store she took a quick glance around and noticed how small the store was, it left off a cute teenager vibe though. Jersey gave the girl behind the register a cocked eyed look, which turned into a smile as she greeted them with a hello. Jersey watched as Mary turned right and started admiring a really nice outfit. Jersey smiled and decided to turn in the same direction and decided to admire the outfit too. "That's hot." Jersey said staring at the outfit and giggling a bit. 'That's hot' was an expression Jersey loved to use. Jersey then turned away and began searching for some more clothes, picking up some more long sleeved shirts, in dark colors. She didn't dare pick up a pair of jeans, Jersey had to have about a million. As Jersey grabbed a flannel snap shirt, which really caught her eye, and began to put it against herself, placing all her other items on a clothing rack for a second she went over to a mirror and started dancing with the shirt against herself. She was startled as she saw someone coming near her, but seeing that it was Mary, Jersey smiled. Mary began saying how she had finally found the orange shirt she had been looking for. "That's great!" Jersey exclaimed as she went back to the clothing rack to pick up her other shirts, "You going to try it on? Cause I was just headin' back myself. You'll have to show me how it looks on you, the long awaited orange shirt search has got me wondering how awesome orange must look on you." Smiling Jersey began her way back to the dressing room with her clothes.

While Jersey was asking Mary if she was going to try the shirts on Mary grabbed a few more shirts, some pairs of pants, and a few skirts. “Let’s go.” Mary said. She then turned around and walked into the dressing rooms while talking to Jersey. “Well I wouldn’t say orange looks great with my hair; in fact I don’t know if it looks good at all. But its one of my favourite colours and so I can’t help it.” Mary said through the curtains that serve as the door to each dressing area. When Mary finished putting on the orange shirt with a dark blue mini skirt she went out into the common area and sat in a chair waiting for Jersey to emerge. Looking at her reflection in the mirror Mary admired the sandals she had put on. They were one of the pairs she had bought earlier in the day with three inch heels and straps that crisscrossed over the foot and tied at the ankle. When she saw Jersey come out of her dressing area Mary smiled and stood up. She then spun around so Jersey could see the outfit, “what do you think?”

Jersey went to the dressing area and quicky began trying on the shirts. The first one she tried, she thought looked horrible and she didn't want to show Mary. She could hear Mary's footsteps from outside. She knew it was Mary because the store was empty except for them. Trying to hurry up a bit, Jersey put on a light pink shirt covered in darker blue polka dots. Jersey was fasicnated with the shirt, and thought that it looked quite well on her. She then came out of the dressing room and went into the common area to get Mary.
When she spotted Mary, Mary turned around and asked her what she thought. Jersey smiled and in a sort of accent she said, "Just fabulous darling." Jersey said this as she spun Mary around examing her outfit. Smiling and laughing Jersey went towards the wall and leaned against it, placing the back of her shoe on the wall. "And me, how to I look." she said as she flicked her hair back from her neck.

"Like a scary cat trying to hide it's claws." Mary joked seeing that Jersey was wearing pink. Jersey was leaning against the wall and she flicked back her hair. Mary admired Jersey's nonchalant attitude, something she had never completely perfected herself. Mary had always been able to pull it off of course, couldn't have survived otherwise, but she rarely ever truly meant it. Not when she was having a good time at least, when she was having fun she couldn't help but twirl and spin in a very non-Slytherin way. Mary had been quite self-conscious about that in her first year at Hogwarts, but was now over it and just enjoyed herself. "It looks great." She said giving Jersey a sincere smile.
Mary and Jersey went back into their dressing rooms and tried on more outfits. Mary's next was the red wrap top with a black skirt that was lose so it seemed to flow around her legs. Mary put on red sandals with straps that went all the way up to her knees. When she came out Jersey was already there with her next outfit on.

Jersey laughed at Mary's remark about her being a scary black cat. "Cute Mar." Jersey said as she stood up straight and walked away from the wall. Jersey smiled as the 2 of them proceeded back to the dressing rooms. Jersey put on 4 more tops but found they all looked quite hideous on her. She threw on her last shirt, a shirt which was a black short sleeved shirt with an electric guitar on the front. Jersey looked at herself in the mirror in the dressing room and started banging her head around like a rockstar, because that's how Jersey felt. Laughing Jersey walked out of the dressing room and into the common area to wait for Mary. She took a seat and then heard the chime of the door bell that went off whenever someone came through the door.
Jersey being nosy got up from the chair and decided to peep around the corner to see who had come in. Looking towards the door Jersey saw an older women come in. Looking kind of disappointed Jersey went back and sat in the chair, with her legs wide open and a hand on each knee.
Once had been tapping to a beat with her foot and in deep thought when she heard Mary approaching the common area. Jersey watched as Mary entered the room and looked at Mary's outfit. Jersey noticed that it was the same outfit that hung a manequin on the wall. Jersey teasing Mary began to speak, "Looked better on the manequin." Jersey began saying as she laughed a bit at her teasing. Jersey got up from the chair and looked at Mary, "You know I was just kidding." Jersey said smiling at Mary. "Really it looks great." Jersey said. "You like mine." Jersey said as she made an air guitar with her hands and pretened to play, moving her head around.
"How much more you got left?" Jersey said as the girls made their way back to the dressing room. "I'm done, but whenever you're ready." Jersey said as she entered the dressing room. "No rush." she said as a last remark before she closed the door to change back into her clothes in which she came in.

Mary noticed Jersey looked somewhat bored when she came in. She was about to ask what was wrong when Jersey told her the outfit looked better on the manequin. "For your information I put a skirt with this on my own accord they had it with pants. Besides you are only saying that because you're jealous. You wish you had my youth and beauty, but instead your an old ugly girl." Mary quipped back before sticking her toungue out at Jersey and broke out laughing. As soon as Mary got control of herself she turned back to Jersey and said, "Thank you. I know it looks great." Mary admired herself in the mirror before turning back to Jersey.
She broke out laughing again as Jersey head banged and played air guitar. "It looks great; very cool." Mary said. "I've not got too much more a few pairs of pants and maybe one or two shirts. I'll just try them real quick and we can get out of here." Mary then went back and tried on the clothes as quickly as she could not even showing them to Jersey. After putting her clothes back on she decided to buy all of it. Emerging from the dressing room Jersey was already there seeing as she had only had to put her original outfit back on. "Ok lets go." Mary said bringing her purchases to the counter. "So do you feel like still shopping? Or would you like to go back to the castle?" Mary asked with no preference what so ever.

Jersey emerged from her dressing room and sat patiently with her clothes that she wished to purchase. She sat tapping her foot and humming some rock song, which she did not know the name of the group or song, she just knew the tune, which bugged Jersey as she sat trying to figure them both out.
Soon enough Mary emerged as well. Yawning a bit, Jersey stood up and walked over to the cashier register to purchase the clothes. As they neared the register Mary asked if she still felt like shopping. Jersey contemplated a bit, but she has personally wanted to go back. Hoping that Mary wouldn't mind Jersey spoke, "Well I'm kind of tired, so going back would be nice," Jersey began to saying covering her mouth as she let out another yawn. "But if you want to stay out until dawn that's cool, cause I have nothing better to do." she said laughing a bit.

"You know I was thinking of going back as well; but staying out until dawn... Thats something I just can't pass up." Mary said when Jersey said she was tired and would like to go back. Mary threw her dark green cloak back on and grabbed all of her bags. She was again having a bit of trouble carrying all of them, but no where near as bad as before. Mary walked out of the store and began down the road heading to the castle. "So how has your trip been so far?" She asked Jersey. ((sorry its so short & may have mistakes I have to go but I'm going to come back & modify in a few hours to add more details i just wanted to put up what I had so far. But i will keep the question if you want to reply ))

((Oh its fine. Dont worry bout' it ;D))
Walking out of the store, Mary posed the question of how Jersey's trip had been so far. Jersey thought really hard about the question and began to think. Basically the trip was like heaven for Jersey, being away from school and not by her grandmother was just how Jersey liked to live.
Jersey turned to Mary and started to reply, "Well, honestly the trip has been great. I met a tons of people and I made one really good friend." Jersey said signaling that she ment Mary. "Yeah despite our like one shopping trip we've been on I think we've connected and are going to be really good friends." Jersey said bringing out her sensitive side and placing her hand on Mary's shoulder. She left her hand there for a brief moment and when the time was right and Mary wasn't expecting it, she gave Mary a tiny push to the left. Laughing hysterically Jersey began to examine the people walking past. The area had gotten a little bit more people from when they left the antique store.
Every person who seemed to pass would look and stare. Jersey and Mary went through this when they first arrived at the shopping center. "Great," Jersey began to say allowd. "Bloody people these days, honestly." she made sure people around her heard it nice and clear. Jersey was never afraid to speak her mind.
