"We most certainly can" Katie said returning the friendly smile. She felt very happy that Liz was going to be her friend. They might be even best friends.
"I wonder what’s its going to be like. Since I am a trouble maker high in energy and she is calm loves to write girl, I wonder." Katie thought in her mind continuing to smile at Liz.
"So...... do you like trouble" Katie asked finally. She wonted to get to know Liz since they were "Friends".

Elizabeth looked at Katie and thought about home. Her sister called her Liz. " sure you can call me Liz." Her cat Spooky jumped onto her lap and began her daily afternoon nap. "Do you like animals?" asked Elizabeth hoping that Katie would say yes.

" Trouble?" Elizabeth wondered why she would ask that. "It depends... what kind of trouble?" It suddenly occured to her that Katie was not one of those nice, calm, sweet little girls, she was adventerous and brave. Elizabeth liked people like that those were the kind of people she looked up to, the kind of people she wants to meet. " well, sure I can be adventurous and outgoing." Elizabeth said with a smile.

Katie smiled once again slyly.
"We can be the next trouble makers like Fred and George were" Katie said with a smile. Her mind was racing for prank ideas.
"Got any prank ideas we can try them out for the next ball or event" Katie said with a glow of mischief in her eyes.

Parvati Patil entered the common room, her lavender book bag strewn over her shoulder and a pencil behind her right ear. Her sketchbook was opened and she was fuirously at work with another pencil drawing away rather fast. She set her bag down and continued to walk deeper into the common room, but stopped when she heard Katie's first phrase.
"Katie...you would have to beat Jordan and Dillion first." Parvati intruded with a smile. She turned and faced her first year friend, and looked at the two who were with her.
"But, maybe, Jordan will let you join them." Parvati said with a small wink. She closed the cover of her sketchbook with a "SMACK!" and threw it in the corner of a nearby table.
"I'm Parvati Patil. Katie's guide and mentor in Gryffindor. Only kidding, I'm just one of her many friends." Parvati chuckled and sat down on the floor, her legs crossed and her hair falling down her back.

Katie jumped as Parvati closed her sketchbook with a loud "SMACK!". She than turned around and looked at Parvati and gave her a big smile.
"I wish I have such good ideas." Katie said rubbing her hands together and thinking of all the pranks she played at home.
"Also when I learn more spells and charms I can practice at home on Chris." Katie said with a mischief look in her eyes.
"You are my mentor you’re getting me through all the things at Hogwarts." Katie said flashing a smile at Parvati.

Parvati shook her head to Katie's last remark.
"I'm a bad mentor. A bad influence. Here that? Do not follow in my footsteps. I will make you a goody goody." Parvati said with a wink. She laughed and summoned her sketchbook.
"Unless, you want to be a goody goody. The line starts here." She said pointing to a place on the ground in front of her. Parvati smiled and opened her sketchbook to an empty page and started to draw.

Katie than looked from one side of the room to another. She was imaging the goody side and the trouble side. She than made her gaze on the trouble side.
"I would rather fight with trouble and seek upon it than be too goody" Katie said fixing her gaze from the other side of the room to Parvati. She smiled a mischief smile at Parvati.
"You too are good. It’s just that I don't wont to be too goody." Katie said continuing her mischief smile.

"I know I am a goody. But, hey, have you met my sister?!" She asked with an air of slight annoyance. She then brushed that aside and continued to draw. Her anger towards Padma clearly being forced into the art.

"What is she like I never seen your sister" Katie said looking at Parvati as she channel her energy into her art work.
Katie than took her guitar that was sitting right next to her. She picked it up and started to play.

"Well, Katie.. look at me..now what do you see?" She asked as she looked up at her friend. Parvati tilted her head at the other girl who was there, she had spoken. Something about saying Liz. Parvati smiled warmly at her.

"I like the name Liz" Katie said once again smiling at her.
She than turned around and looked at Parvati and stared at her for a few moments.
"Oh I seen her before but she has pimples." Katie said smiling at Parvati .

(Okay, I am going to try and get myself unconfused. Elizabeth weren't already in the common room? And if so then why did you post entering it again. I don't want to sound mean, but could you delete your posts that don't have anything written on them? It would make it easier to read...once someone can clear this up for me I will post again  |

Elizabeth got up, looked around the room and realized she had butted in to a somewhat importanr conversation and made her way up to her bed, trying very hard not to embarress herself any further.
