Evelyn had been at Hogwarts for a few days since the end of summer, she sighed as she threw on some comfy clothes which was made of a black shirt and black basketball shorts. She made her way down the stairs and then walked to a corner of the common room and sat down on the couch the place where she sat down was shaded and sort of dark, she like the coolness and comfortableness of the couch in the shadows, she thought of many things but none of importance, she sighed again and sat there bored watching people walk by buisily.

Amelia pulled on her sparkling blue shirt and hip hugging skirt. She was glad it was the weekend, then she could wear whatever she wanted. Amelia sighed happily, glad to be back at Hogwarts and walked down the stairs. She noticed a girl sitting in the corner on a couch. Amelia smiled, feeling friendly and walked over to her.
Casually, she sat down beside her and introduced herself, "I'm Amelia," she smiled at the girl, hoping she would be accepted by this stranger

Justin woke up with a start. His bad dreams still came to him at Hogwarts as well as at home. He wiped the beads of sweat off his forhead and put on his jeans and t-shirt then put a robe on. He grabbed his wand and headed down to the commonroom. As he reached the commonroom he saw that it was almost empty except for Eve and a girl that he did'nt know. So he walked over to the two and said " Hi Eve." and to the other girl he said " Hi ,I'm Justin Lionheart, and you are?" in a polite voice.

Amelia was startled slightly by the sudden introduction, but smiled and stood, extending her hand as she said:
"Hello, Justin. My name's Amelia!" she smiled, so many people to meet- so little time! She decided to start a conversation with the nice boy.
"So are you on the Quidditch team? I just got Keeper," Amelia said. She sat down and offered the seat next to her to Justin.

Justin shook the girls hand and said "Nice to meet you Amelia." and smiled back. He then sat dwon beside her and said " Thats a good acomplishme nt to be on the team. Well I play Quidditch ,but it's for the same team as my brother ,but my good friend Dean Thomas is a chaser on the house team. My other good friends Harry Potter is the Seeker and is the Captain of the team." He then said " Eve plays to ,right Eve?"

Evelyn turned slightly away, her face hiding in the shadows, she said in a slow voice, "hello, i am evelyn," as she noticed in the corner of her eye justin, she wathced not moving her head and heard them talking and then heard Justin say somthing about her, "yes i do play quiddich, but not now," she rubbed her cheek slightly as her face was still hidden in the dark, she though about alot of things for the moment and then blinked slightly her eyelids moving slowly and calmly.

Amelia looked at Evelyn rather curiously. Why was she so mysterious? Amelia, being her spunky self decided to ask.
"Hey, um, Evelyn," she started, "Why are you so in the shadows?" Amelia suddenly felt embarrased and rather foolesh. She suddenly wanted to take back the comment as it sounded so rude. She waited in slight, unknown fear for Evelyn to answer.

Justin looked at Evelyn as she answered his statement. He then heard Amelia ask her why she was in the shadows. Justin to pondered on this and stood up. He walked over to her and said " Yeah why are you in the shadows?" in a playful voice and pulled her off the couch and into the light and said " Now what's wrong?" in a slightly soft ,yet worried voice.
